Lucas's POV

Maya and I unloaded my truck and got everything upstairs. I've missed her so much. I was an idiot for leaving and I know that. I'm just glad she gave me another chance because I honestly don't know where I would be without her, she's my everything. I was watching her draw while sitting on the couch and she seemed at peace with everything. All her fears were gone. I never want to be the reason that she cries again. She means too much. I walked over and sat down next to her on the couch.

"Hey come here for a second." I said to her and she sat down her notepad and pencil and slid on to my lap and put her arms around my neck.

"What's up huckleberry?" She said with a smile that I swear was ear to ear.

"I've missed you so much. I hated being away from you. I missed being near you like this, your touch, the taste of your lips on mine. I never want to be the reason you cry again. I love you Maya." I replied and she leaned forward and kissed me, it wasn't like any other kiss though, this one was different. It had much desire behind it. Like it was something she longed for. She moaned in my mouth a little as things got a little heated and we pulled away. "I want to take you on a date tomorrow." I told her.

"I would love that Lucas." She responded.

"Make sure you dress nice because it's going to be a nice date not just a casual one. I want to make all the pain I caused you up to you." I explained to her.

"Lucas I said it was fine, things happen." She replied.

"No Maya, it's not fine. I shouldn't have done that. I shouldn't have ran when things were getting tough and for that I'm sorry. I know dinner won't make up for what I did, but hopefully it'll be a start." I told her so she would understand how awful I truly felt over this.

"If that's what you want to do, then that's what we'll do." She replied with that cute smile she's always had. "I also want to apologize for my behavior lately. I was out of line to throw all my anger out on you. It wasn't right. I would have left me too. Mrs Matthews is the one who put everything together and set me straight. She offered to be in the delivery room when he's born."

"I'm so glad that she figured it out and was able to be there for you. None of us could figure out what was wrong for the life of us and we were so worried about you. I just wanted you to be happy and that's all I ever wanted for you." I replied to her explanation.

"Never think that you don't make me happy Lucas. You make me the happiest girl in the world and I wouldn't trade that feeling for anything. You do everything right in my eyes, I promise. I love you so much sometimes I can't think straight." She responded.

"You'll never have to worry about me leaving again. No matter what. I promise you my life and I'll keep that promise forever and I love you too." I said as I smiled at her. "How about we head to bed so we can get a full nights rest before tomorrow?"

"Sounds like a plan to me, I'm rather exhausted." She replied.

Maya's POV

-Next Afternoon-

Lucas went out to with Farkle so I had Riley come over to help me pick out an outfit to wear to mine and Lucas' date tonight. It felt like our first date all over again. I was going through all the nice maternity dresses Lucas had bought me months ago.

"Riles I really don't know what to wear." I said as my back was to her in a panicked voice.

"Maya calm down, let me help you." She said as she walked up next to me and started looking through the dresses in the closet. "How about this one? It's black, which suits you, it'll hide your insecurities on being pregnant and not to mention you'll look stunning which isn't hard because you always are." She replied as she pulled out the dress and handed it to me.

"Do you think Lucas will like it?" I asked after I put it on.

"Of course he will Maya. He did buy it for you after all. I'm shook even looking at you." She replied and her response alone made me laugh.

"I love you Riles." I said to her as I gave her a hug.

"I love you, too peaches."

After that we went into the bathroom and she helped me with my hair. She really outdid herself because it seriously looked perfect. I then did my makeup to get the rest of myself ready because he would be back soon to get me. Soon after I was completely ready Riley left to go meet up with Farkle which meant Lucas was on his way to get me. I sat at the desk in our room to draw for a little bit. It's always helped keep my anxiety down for things I was nervous for because Lucas has never taken me on a fancy date like this before so it's something new and exciting. I heard the front door open and I knew he was home.

"Maya where are you?" I heard him yell from the living room.

"In the bedroom!" I yelled back while looking at the doorway waiting for him to walk in.

"Woah." He said as he walked in and saw me.

"Does it look bad?" I asked him.

"Again, woah." He said as he leaned down and kissed me softly.

"Okay, huckleberry. Go get ready so we aren't late for our reservation." I replied and he laughed.

"I'm sorry Maya, you just look so amazing. I'm honestly speechless right now." He responded as he went in the bathroom to go get ready.

I went out in the living room and watched a little bit of tv while he was finishing getting ready for the night. When he walked out we was wearing sharp dress shoes, black dress pants and a nice long sleeve shirt and his hair was also jelled.

"Wow huckleberry, you look great." I said as I turned off the tv and got my shoes on.

"You ready to go." He asked and I nodded.

He took my hand and we went out to his truck and he opened the door for me as I got in. He's so sweet he doesn't even need to try. We got there just in time and we were able to get our table right away. The food was amazing and we had the best time just talking and laughing. I missed this and I missed us. That was the one thing I always loved about Lucas and I was that we could talk and laugh for hours and never get bored with a conversation. As we were walking back up to the apartment we stopped at the door and he was looking at me with lust filled eyes.

"What?" I asked before he gently pushed me against the door and kissed me so passionately.

He slowly unlocked the door and guided us in without taking his lips off mine while locking it after we were in. He picked me up bridal style and carried me into the bedroom. He unzipped my dress and placed me on the bed after it was off  as he hovered over me smiling. He ran kisses up my neck until our lips met again. I slowly worked his pants off and I could tell how much he wanted me, and it was as much as I wanted him. It didn't take us long to get our clothes off of each other. He stopped for a moment to admire my baby bump. He looked so cute as he placed a kiss on it. Shortly after he was back to hovering over me again. It had been so long since we had a night like this so it was different from any other time we've had sex because it was simply bittersweet and had so much passion with it. We cuddled afterwards and we he was running his hand up and down my arm. I could feel him smiling in the crook of my neck.

"I love you so much Maya." He whispered.

"I love you, too Lucas."

"So I was thinking about baby names." He said as he had been thinking on this for awhile.

"What do you have in mind?" I asked.

"How about Alexander Sterling?" He replied

"I actually love that name Lucas." I responded with a smile.

"Really? So it's settled? We have a name?" He asked three questions at once but I think it was for reassurance that I liked it.

"Absolutely, I love it. We officially have a name for this little bean."

Shortly after we talked for while, we fell asleep. Tonight was so perfect.
