I was sleeping when suddenly a loud sound much like a battle cry was heard. Why can't we demigods pass a year without the monsters?

I woke up but fell down the bed as Will who has also woken up pushed me. We both took our weapons and shadow travelled to the source of the sound.

We expected an army of monsters but instead saw the leader, his team and Chiron all looking at us. I looked around and all of us were in our night clothes and confused.

The leader then shouted "last night, I said that training starts at sunrise. Drop your weapons and start running for ten miles." No body moved shocked by what had just happened when he shouted "NOW" causing me and Will to drop our weapons and run.

I thought that a monster had arrived at camp but saw no monster. Instead, it was the leader, his team and Chiron looking at us.

I had been dreaming about my time with Percy and wanted him to return so that I could apologize. When the leader told us to drop our weapons and run ten miles, all of us were frozen.

Ten miles? In this cold weather? And only in our night clothes? I was about to speak up when the leader shouted "NOW" and everyone began to run.

After a mile or two, everyone slowed down but the team was still ahead of us. How can they be in top shape?

Then I heard all the campers shouting from behind me and running way too fast. I saw two huge hounds chasing us and we all ran. I could hear the leader shout "rex, ruby, good job."

And understood that he wanted us to be fast in case of danger. Our regular running speed would not do. After the ten miles, I was exhausted and everyone wanted to rest but the leader told us to start doing a hundred round of drills. We were freezing to death but a "START" from the leader has all of starting the drills. If we stopped either of the hounds would growl at us.

I don't know how much time had passed when I saw the team duelling with each other. "What about them?" One of the campers asked the leader. "They completed the drills so now they are duelling with eachother. Don't forget thats what we will do next." All the campers groaned but a growl from rex had all of us racing to finish the drills. It was noon when we finally finished and the leader gave us only an hour break to refresh ourselves.

All the kids from the Aphrodite cabin rushed to take a relaxing bath and all of us were leaving when two voices "hey, let us go" were heard.

I saw the two idiot demigods with fire around them. "You did not finish your training. Complete it and then you are free to go." How did the leader even know who completed the drills and who did not. The idiots were being chased by the hounds and I laughed at the sight.
