"(y/n)! Hurry and get up!-" "Mama said we're going shopping!" I groaned as Leo and Kaity jumped on my new bed. McGonagall the woman who adopted us, brought us to a house in the middle of the forest, she does not live here with us, but I'm okay with that because that means we can be a little family, and Jessie can cook well so we'll be fine, she still visits every other day though.

"Leo! Kaity! I told you guys not to wake her up till breakfast was ready!" Jessie yells through the door holding a spatula while wearing an apron.

"(y/n)! (y/n)! (y/n)! Guess what today is!" the two yelled unison making me laugh.

"Hmm let's see here it's July right?" they nodded "July 17th?" the nodded even harder "is it.....Christmas?" they laughed shaking their heads "no!? not Christmas?...darn ok...is it...Easter! it has to be Easter." they shook their heads again Laughing harder Jessie leaned against the doorframe smiling "silly I know it's your guy's birthday" I called out tackling them and began tickling them they burst out laughing pulling at my arms begging me to stop after about 2 minutes I did. I hopped out of my bed yawning and stretching I walked over to my dresser and opened my top drawer only to find it empty "what the?" I turned to see Leo and Kaity looking a little nervous, I walked over and knelt before them and sighed "you want me to dress up for your birthday?" they both nodded eagerly "you want me to wear a dress?" they shook and gave me puppy eyes making me flinch "fine" the second I agreed they cheered and ran to grab my outfit.

"you're so sweet to them... you could say no and just wear your usual stuff" Jessie commented still smiling.

"of course I am, they deserve it...there to innocent to have been born into this time" I responded referring to the war happening as we speak I walked over to her "...look when I'm at school It's only gonna be you...are you sure you can handle it because if not I can always be homeschool-" she glared harshly.

"NO WAY! you're going to Hogwarts whether you like it or not...we'll be fine" I put my hands up in defense.

"ok ok ok...but if you need anything owl me and I'll teleport here against the school rules or not." she just laughed and went to continue breakfast. Leo and Kaity ran through the door holding ()" so that's what I'm wearing?"

"Yep!" they said in unison as my head drooped.

"ok. now go so I can get ready" I shooed them and they ran out giggling. I sighed walking over to the mirror looking at my reflection my messy (h/c) colored hair and unholy (e/c) eyes seemed duller than usual making me frown. Gravis appeared in the mirror right behind me.

"the day is coming closer...do you want to visit your parents this year?" I glared slightly offended.

"of course I do!...how could I not?" he frowned.

"Right, sorry." I sighed.

"Your fine just stay here while I take a shower" he nodded returning once more to the cat shell he resides in. I walk into my personal bathroom and hop in the shower washing my hair and body before grabbing the towel and stepping out. I walked over to the mirror and frowned at the noticeable scar running from my chest up along the side of my neck and ending behind my ear I sighed and threw on the clothes the twins gave me walking back into my room and out the door to see the twins looking up at me Kaity holding a camera. I heard a click then they ran off leaving me shocked just standing there, I slowly snapped back into reality and walked down the hall and down the staircase I turned right and walked through the double doors and saw Jessie, Leo, and Kaity eating breakfast as if nothing ever happened, I laughed a bit before walking over and sitting next to Jessie at the table digging into the plates of food sitting in front of me, We had been eating peacefully till a knock on the front door interrupted the silence I stood up placing one more bite of toast into my mouth and walked over looking through the hole to see exactly who I thought it was gonna be, I opened the door and Welcomed McGonagall in "were leaving now?" I asked and she nodded Gravis jumped up onto my shoulder and mewed as I turned to the dining room "time to leave!" I yelled and not even a second later the twins were in front of McGonagall standing innocently with their hands behind their backs smiles on their faces.

"Were ready" the chirped in unison sending a small shiver down my spine. We walked out the door and Minerva held out both of her arms signaling for us to grab them. I knew that she was gonna have us apparate but I wasn't very happy about it I've always hated apparition that feeling of being pulled through a tiny space that you can just barely fit in, I cringed at my own thoughts before the very feeling took over my body then just as fast as it came it disappeared as we stood in the middle of a busy walkway. I unconsciously grabbed Leo and Kaity's hands and Looked up at McGonagall.

"Where to?" I asked wanting to get out of the crowd as quickly as possible.

"We'll be headed to the bank first" she started walking and I followed close behind not letting go of Leo and Kaity while keeping a close eye on Jessie, this was supposed to be an amazing magical moment but I was more scared of all the bodies pushing around in the alley. We eventually left the crowd much to my relief only to now be practically surrounded by goblin looking creatures and it set my nerves a flame when Leo and Kaity grabbed my hands tighter in fear of the creatures. We made it to the front of the room and McGonagall cleared her throat gaining the attention of the creature.

"I would like to have this child take a blood test" McGonagall pointed to me the creature stared a bit before nodding and waving his hand. Not even a second later another goblin showed up and bowed slightly before me before he began to walk.

"Follow me please" its high pitched but still raspy voice spoke sending a small shiver up my spine. I let go of Leo and Kaity's hands and they both frowned whining a little, I just smiled trying to comfort them as I followed behind the creature, we eventually entered a smaller room that held only a table a piece of paper and a knife, though what confused me is how familiar the knife looked.

"Why is the knife so old?" I asked the goblin who simply walked over to it before picking it up and walking over to me.

"It is a relic, it was used to murder the first ever recorded which hundreds of years ago" I hesitated.

"And what was the name of that which if I may ask?"

"I'm surprised you do not know" it was hard to tell but I could see the pure admiration shine in his eyes "(y/n) (y/l/n)"
