"Wait so he was an angel who looked after you that you turned into a cat that somehow turned into a human?" Sirius spoke the gist of the story.

"Yes, but I had no clue about the whole cat to human process so when he disappeared I was told he was dead as to protect his identity" I explained the last part more to myself than to Sirius who in the end was just as confused as I was.

"I needed a genuine reaction from you as to sell that I was your brother so, me disappearing and reappearing was my only option or I would have told you long ago, I swear I never meant to hurt you as much as I did, I just-"

"You can shut up now" he scowled a bit obviously frustrated with me, I frown and let out a sigh "I forgive you" he smiled but my glare told him there was a catch "but I'm still angry so I expect three presents for every national holiday you missed, that would be Thanksgiving, Christmas, and my birthday"

"But your birthday isn't a national holiday"

"In the wizarding world it is" I cross my arms and he sighs I never seriously accepted the whole sending flowers or something to the town I died.

"Fine I'll buy your love back" he spoke with major sarcasm and sat back his plate filled with the remains of his dinner I was tempted to take away from him. I stood and yawned.

"I honestly don't care anymore, I'm going to bed" Sirius stand as well.

"I will too then" I walk out of the room Sirius right behind me. I let out a sigh of relief as soon as we got into my room I let out a groan of frustration I walked over to my door and locked it.

"What was that for" Sirius smirked.

"I'm going to change and would prefer for them to not walk in on me." I walked over to my dresser and pulled out a tank top I turned away from Sirius and unbuttoned my shirt and let it fall to the ground.

"Are you doing this on purpose?" I was slightly startled at the fact that he was now not even a foot away behind me but I rolled my eyes instead.

"I'm just changing" I threw on my tank top and left him standing there watching as I then walked into my bathroom shutting the door I finished changing and brushing out my hair. I walked out and threw the cloths down a laundry shoot and slumped on my bed crawling up to my precious pillows "don't you need to change?" I asked and he nodded walking into the bathroom as well.

I picked up the book that sat on my nightstand swiping off the light layer of dust that covered it. I opened it and stared blankly at the first page and the letters written as painful memories flooded me, I scowled and close the book and put it back in its place slamming my head back onto the pillow resting my arm over my eyes, I could tell the lights were turned out and a few seconds later the bed shifted as Sirius crawled in next to me it was silent for a few seconds and, I already knew.

"You want to know something?" I felt the bed shift again.

"Was it important?" he asked referring to the book. I uncovered my eyes and turned my head looking at him as he laid on his side looking past me at the book holding a woman resting peacefully on a bed smiling like nothing was wrong.

"...yea, it was the last present I got from them before they..well you know" I smile a bit thinking back to there wide smiles as I accepted it wholeheartedly.

"What's it about?" I felt one of his hands rest on my stomach and I frowned even more.

"It's a grucum story about a woman who was cursed to sleep with nightmare after nightmare for millions of years till a man comes and struck by her beauty he was impelled to kiss her, in turn, she awoke from those nightmares and found it was never a dream but the real world, torn by reality she killed herself, but the gods that pitied her so brought her to a world filled with all she could dream of including the man she saw only in her dreams and lived there for the rest of eternity." I guess I got a bit carried away in the description but I guess it just goes to show how much I cherish it, I won't even bring it to school considering it would probably get destroyed in seconds.

"Why would she do that?" I was confused by the question "I of all people understand that this world is hellish and cruel but there is always things that argue with that fact, people and hobbies that can counter that reality and mindset, Suicide is such a big decision and yet no one ever seems to really think about those who are there for them even if there reminded every day, when you do something like that it's like killing someone else aswel" I just stare at him in shock, he seemed to be in trance I leaned forward connecting my lips with his and that seemed to snap him out of it as once I pulled away he was looking at me.

"You know you can be really smart sometimes"

"Sometimes?" I just smiled and rolled over and closed my eyes.

"Goodnight Sirius" I heard his scoff but he just laid down pulling me into him.

"Night"

It's been a week and today is the day Sev is going to throw his little party I exit the bathroom wearing the outfit Lily sent me to wear.

"Sirius you need to get ready" I looked over to see him reading the book I told him about a couple nights ago.

"Don't worry" he smiled up at me from his place on my bed, I rolled my eyes and went to leave.

"Where are you off to?" I turned slightly.

"I'm going to tell Gravis where we're going so he doesn't think I ran away" he just sighed and nodded as I left. I walked down to the living room to see Gravis passed out on the couch still.

"I told you-you could sleep in the extra room dimwit" I mumbled to myself.

"It should already be preoccupied with that boy" I growled slightly.

"Don't even start it and quit calling him 'that boy' you know Sirius almost as well as I do" he glared lightly up at me and I glared right back.

"I just don't get why he has to sleep in your room" I rubbed my temple.

"Me neither but he said I didn't give him enough attention during the school year so I have to make up for it now over break so we're going to a small house party today" he went to speak.

"And yes there is another girl who will be there, it's Lily" he shut his mouth and nodded.

"Okay, I can accept that" I turned "when did you start wearing dresses?" he asked and I shrugged.

"Ember and Lily began picking my outfits and this is one of them from Lily" he smiled.

"It suits you" he smiled and I just turned.

"Thanks" I frown and walk back to the room to see Sirius struggling a bit with a tie, he wore a simple white shirt with dark red suit pants and a matching tie I walked over and pulled his hands away trying it myself flattening and perfecting it before stepping back.

"I never understood how it was me who wore these but you're the only one who actually knows how to tie it properly" he looked at himself in the mirror then back at me.

"Do you know where we're going?" he asked and I nodded.

"Turns out Sev. couldn't have it at his house so were going to Lily's place" I held out my hand in which he took as we were teleported in front of a nice looking blue house up on a hill, the smell of the ocean wafted around as a light breeze blew a slight chill running through me as we walked up to the door giving it a knock Sirius was definitely less tense than I was the door slammed open and Ember jumped out and onto me not quite knocking me over because of Sirius who stood behind me and sora helped support the sudden force.

"Hi?" I spoke as Ember steps back and lets out a squeak.

"Hurry and come in" she pulls both me and Sirius by the arm into a large room that held more than expected.

"What's up with the sleeping bags?" I asked slightly confused.

"You do know Lily changed it to a sleepover right?" I shook my head.

"I was coming on the expectations of just a party" I scratch the back of my head.

"Darn I knew that second letter wouldn't get to you in time" Lily wined.

"No it's ok, I have extra pajamas (y/n) could wear and I bet Remus would lend some to Sirius" Ember smiled.

"Oh ya and I have a lot of extra blankets!" Lily jumped up in excitement and I just stood sorta overwhelmed.

"Wait Remus is here?" Sirius asked and Ember nodded.

"Ya Lily invited me so I invited Remus who invited his books" Lily laughed at this and that's when I noticed Sev behind her distracted by a book himself, I looked over and saw Sirius preoccupied with a slightly annoyed looking Remus.

"You reading that book I gave you?" I look over his shoulder and he jumps slightly startled.

"Uh ya I was actually filling in a few more basic potion modifications I guess you were too bored to fix-up." I saw his eyes travel over to Sirius who was speaking loudly about some type of jinx he wanted to try.

"You don't need to worry, while I'm here he will stay in check, he knows I'll kick his ass otherwise" I laugh and he smiles.

"(y/n) come here!" Ember called from the kitchen I smiled at Sev before leaving. I looked back at Sirius who I noticed was taking glances at Sev before making eye contact with my glare before he smiled again and went back to socializing with a very uninterested Remus.

"Was James-" my sentence was cut short as I saw the fire on the stove and a frantic Ember.

"I've never actually prepared a human meal and when I went to add magic it just exploded. My heart raced a little as I ran over.

"What were you making!?" she cries a bit.

"...I was boiling the water" I just look at her in shock.

"You set the water...ON FIRE!" by now curious eyes peaked in "Did you add oil!?" she shook her head.

"No, its just water"

"Can you put out burning water with water!" I turn around frantically and grab a cloth attempting to smother it only for it to grow larger.

"LILY!" me and Ember yell at the same time. She peaked in her eyes widening as Sirius Remus and Sev just sorta stand there to shocked to actually do anything it was getting hot in the room as smoke filled the air I spun and opened the window a strong breeze blowing in.

"What do we do!?" I looked back at the fire as it began to lick the light over the top of the stove.

"IM LOOKING FOR THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER!" she yelled as she rummaged through a closet.

"The Extinguishing charm!" Remus yelled as he ran into the kitchen as well.

"The fire is magically made, Try it!" I call and he needs pointing his wand at it.

"Here!" Lily called, I turned just in time to see her point a red canister at us before a white foam spewed from a hose that connected to it and less than thirty seconds later it stopped, I stood still looking down at the dress I wore that was now completely covered in this white foam.

"The spell worked," Remus said simply as Lily's face exploded into a blush, I just couldn't help it as I let out a laugh then another and sooner or later all of us were practically on the ground barely able to breathe even Sev was dying.

"What the fuck went down here!?" we all looked up at the entry was to see a stunned James and I just fell back again another laughing fit taking over.
