"Why are you here?" I glared harshly a scowl buried itself on my face.

"Now now that's no way to talk to you-" the door to the room opened and (y/n) peeked in.

"Oh so you came to see the DADA teacher" she laughed a bit calming my nerves greatly '...I told her I was...' "if I'm interrupting I could come back later" she went to leave much to my relief.

"Now there's no need for that, I would love to help you" Dad nodded slightly as she entered the room fully he placed his arms behind his back and I already knew he was up to something, (y/n) walked up and stood next to me looking at him with a smile, I frown and scoot just a little closer just in case he decides to try anything.

"Hello you are my other unknown student Ms.Romave?" she smiled and nodded.

"Yep, that's me!" I glared up at my father in a warning way If he tried anything even if I didn't kick his (y/n) would and he will feel the wrath of angry Ember on his back and man that's a scary thought, I focused in again as (y/n) asked about the lessons she missed and ones to come, and with that same sly smile he answered explaining it perfectly, hell even I understood now but I still didn't trust him, I know he's up to something I just need to find out what.

"Alright well that's it" she smiled looked up at me but now that I got a good look at her face I could tell she was smiling but her eyes when they were trying not no glare from what I could see.

"Are you done as well?" she asked her eyes calming and I looked back at my hellfire before nodding.

"Ya lets go" but before we could move he cleared his throat.

"Actually now that I have the opportunity I would like to speak to (y/n)" she nodded and I stopped standing next to her "alone" he specified and I looked down at (y/n), she only nodded and I sighed walking to the door closing it but I stood directly in front of it so if anything happened I could get in right away, though it seemed to not be needed as she slammed out about 5 minutes later a scowl edged on her face as she walked quickly, she actually looked pretty flipping cool considering how her cloak flowed behind her, but now is not the time for that.

"What did he do?" I growled and she stopped turning.

"Oh I didn't know you stayed" I frowned considering I've been following her for about two halls "he didn't do anything" I sighed a bit in relief "but you know what?" I looked up to see a deep scowl edged into her face "your dad is a real dickwad when it comes to words" I tensed 'so he told her he was my father and he insulted her, god she has to hate-' my thoughts were cut short as she hugged me "I'm so happy you're nothing like him" she spoke in a soft voice and I smiled a bit leaning down.

"You, me, Hogsmeade, date?" she looked up and pulled away expressionless before walking away again "h-hey wait come on I didn't mean to ruin the moment I just-"

"Just shut up and I'll go with you" I went silent immediately walking next to her, she only smiled.

"Hey, Sirius?" I looked over to her she was frowning.

"Whats up?" she looked me in the eyes.

"if I were to do something really bad, would you leave me?" I looked over to confused but just smiled.

"You would never have a chance to do anything bad, I would hold you back even if it cost my own life" I turned and stopped walking grabbing her hand and pulling her into me "you are my only weakness, if I ever lost you, evil or not it would kill me, so just be yourself and I'll love you for it" I smiled softly and I felt her beginning to shake she looked up tears in the corner of her eyes.

"And you thought, you never knew what to say" she laughed and I held her in my chest as she broke down. Just be yourself. And I will always love you.

We eventually ended up in the common room we met up with the others but James and Remus seemed distant from (y/n) it was only 4:30 so I had nothing to distract myself with.

"Everyone is here?" (y/n) asked looking around and I nodded "I wanted to wait till you were all together just so I only had to explain it once" she frowned "earlier today I undertook an attack in my mind as I slept and before that my hair was changing colors, you're all probably really confused"

"You think?" James crossed his arms and I glared.

"Look I know you're mad so I'm gonna explain this and it's not the dream eater crap" she lowered her head and took a deep breath.

"I am what you call a metamorphmagus"

"What's that?" I asked and Remus glared at me, I merely glared back.

"a witch or wizard who has the ability to change their appearance at will, without the need for a wand, spell, or potion." Ember explained and I nodded Peter let out an oh obviously not knowing either.

"Metamorphmagi usually have an excess amount of magical energy of sorts, or so I was told, so to counteract it I use a spell that literally rips it out of me though it leaves my mind open to attack for a portion of time and the reason I wasn't just sleeping is because someone entered my mind" she struggled to get the last part out "the man to my luck was as evil as evil could be" she growled and I could see the tears dripping down her cheeks, It pissed me off.

"Did they touch you?" Remus asked just as worried as me.

"No, I escaped before they could physically touch me but spell wise I sustained a dark curse to the eye and under came the Cruciatus curse more than once as I did not comply with his wishes" she glared at the floor "but I am warning you what I'm about to tell you next is nearly unbelievable though now that the man found out, all of my friends are in danger, and I won't have that" she growled and looked up "the man's name is Tom Marvolo Riddle, now known as Voldemort" she whispered just loud enough for us to hear I was shocked, to say the least, the man at the head of this war just had to target her.

"So, does that make a difference?" I asked and she looked up quickly.

"I don't care if it's Voldemort or an evil rat! if I can help protect you...I will" a small smile tugged at her face.

"I agree with Sirius, no matter what we went through you were there, I mean fuck I'm a werewolf and you risked your life to make sure I never took my own, how could I abandon you" Remus spoke and James nodded.

"What else was there?" Peter asked now curious. She looked down once more.

"This one you might not believe but at this point, I have no reason to hide it from you...yes I am a Romave but I am not just a Romave, in fact, I'm very little Romave" we all stared at her intently.

"The name I went by is (y/n) (y/l/n) I was alive hundreds of years ago and killed at the age of 14" she looked over at me "bye you Sirius" I froze.

"Wait, what!?" I stood "what do you mean I killed you!?" I should be questioning the truth of all of this but honestly just as she said what reason did she have to lie.

"You were a witch hunter and I was a witch" she frowned and I ran the info through my head and they all just looked at me.

"that's why you ran when we first met?" she looked up nodded.

"I was so scared that it might happen again that I didnt trust you, it hurt to see you...to think back, that life was more horrible than you could imagine, the books depicted me as a goddess but, I was a hired killer and thief, I was no guardian of the weak, because I killed them"

"but not on purpose?" Ember asked and she shook her head.

"the ones who owned me would...they would beat me to near death if I refused" it was silent until I engulfed her in a hug. I took a deep breath.

"because that title, it is important that none of you tell or show me your animagi forms, he has read my mind once and if he attacks this will be our trump card understood?" they all nodded, I looked around, all but Peter seemed 100% about this, (y/n) noticed this too she walked over and looked him directly in his eyes.

"I promice, no one will hurt you" he stoped shaking and nodded a small smile on his face.

"Let's just get started already" I looked at the clock to see it was 4:58. And I nodded agreeing with Ember.

"Here" (y/n) walked to each of us.

"I'm going to cast a spell that will keep it in place, so sit still and make sure it's in a place you want it to be cuz it's gonna be like that for a month she got to me and handed me mine but with it was a slip of paper I placed it in my pocket and the leaf in my mouth on my cheek (y/n) went around again and began casting the spell before casting it on herself. She looked at me.

And I smiled.

Dinner and detention went smoothly, the punishment was to write lines silently so it was easy to hide the fact that we were doing something so illegal it could get us...well I don't want to think about that, either way a month actually moved on pretty quick it was boring but all the pranks we pulled made it a little less dull and tonight was the night...y/n) began working on the potion a couple days ago so she'll just need to add the final ingredient then it will be done, though I fear every Tuesday and Friday, my father just won't let up whenever I see him in the hall he tries to talk to me but I just walk away, (y/n) still won't tell me what he said, I noticed even though they both smile in the other's presence the daggers their eyes throw at each other are so obvous it sent shivers down my back every time, so instead whenever I saw him I would grab (y/n) and duck away as soon as possible, she would always scold me after but at least they didn't start a war on campus, though with the look (y/n) has been giving him in class I'm not so sure it will be as peaceful once she gets her speech back, it was now 4:47 and I ran down the hall before bursting into (y/n)'s room, I was late and I knew I would get reamed for it "alright let's go" Ember ordered the second she saw me and I obliged walking behind them silently tailing hoping (y/n) don't see what just happened "why were you late this time?" (y/n) asked making me tense at the malice that laced her voice.

"Uh well you see" she glared.

"Was it by any chance that Hufflepuff that just so happened to be trying to get your attention?" she glared harder and I stood tall.

"I rejected her" I glared back and her face turned from anger to shock.

"Really?" she asked disbelievingly and I just deadpanned,

"Do you really have that little faith in my word?" she simply turned.

"Yes" I frowned "I'm joking" she turned and I stood tall once more.

"Alright we have to take out the leafs and put them in these vials once we get to the roof we cover them then we wait" Ember explained as we finally got to the bottom of the astronomy tower me and (y/n) nodded as we followed behind them

"wait, quick question" I grabbed (y/n)'s hand, she stopped and turned.

"Whats up?" she looked me in the eyes and the throbbing in my chest increased 10 fold.

"Uh, well, you know how the Hogsmeade trip is tomorrow and all, well I still hadn't gotten a strait ans-"

"I would have thought that that kiss was a pretty clear answer" she crossed her arms smiling and I looked up once more and frowned.

"does that mean-" she sighed and I shut up.

"that was a yes" I smiled and she turned walking up the steps once more I followed directly behind her.

"so just me and you?"

"yes"

"at Hogsmeade?"

"yep"

"alone-" she turned and once more I was silenced her face not even an inch from mine.

"yes, me and you alone on a date at Hogsmeade, no more, no less" I nodded quickly and she stepped back and started up the stairs again and once more I followed right on her tail. she must have me under a spell because I honestly can't get over the way she moves she's just so...touchable.

"are you guys done yet the full moon is about to show" Ember yelled and me and (y/n) rushed up the remaining stairs.

"here" we called together making it to the top we all walked to the ledge looking up at the darkening sky, (y/n) turned to us and held out her hand the leaf in my mouth fell and I had to hold it in place, god, this thing gets more and more disgusting every day.

"Alright take them out," Ember said holding Remus's wrist looking at his watch, we all did as told "(y/n) do you have the potion?" (y/n) nodded and held vials of a orangish liquid and handed one to all of us "alright on my count hold up your leaf" Ember stared at the watch as if it would make time go faster the sun was now just below the horizon and it was nearly dark "now" Ember spoke and all at once under the moons direct rays we held up the leafs and as if on cue they sort of absorbed it as they grew lighter in shade and a little heavier "now quickly place them in the vials" Ember spoke doing the very thing on her own I did the same and it sort of dissolved in a way burning up and tearing apart in the concoction " is it supposed to do that?" Kye nodded and walked back "put it somewhere dark light is bad for the potion" Ember spoke I looked over and Peter and James just looked sick "that was awful" James wheezed and Peter just swayed.

"just go brush your teeth a few times and eat something strong and the flavor will go away, I cast a spell that dulled the flavor so at least you didn't have to deal with it all month" (y/n) spoke and I nodded.

"what do we do now?" I asked referring to the potion.

"we've gotta wait for a lightning storm right?" James asked.

"ya, but we have to say the spell every night and morning now" Peter added.

"yep! so that means (y/n) is on wake up duty" Ember smiled and the others groaned "well you all just blow me off so if you do well the first few times then it will be my turn" Ember turned placing her vile in her wand pocket.

"well, I'm off to wash out my mouth with a power hose" (y/n) began walking down the stairs doing the same with her vial, as usual, I follow behind her head over heels with her movements "just a little while longer" I whisper to my self.

"what?" (y/n) turned slightly but I just waved my hands.

"oh no its nothing" she laughed a bit and I almost melted.

"Alright then weirdo" she turned again and as usual I'm left a mess without her 'I love you'
