You don't remember falling asleep last night. Everything that occurred after krel had left you alone was a blur. You just chalked it up to extreme exhaustion and seklos knows It must've been extreme if you had no recollection of it.

Nevertheless you reluctantly dragged yourself out of bed and out to the kitchen where your fellow housemates appeared to be awaiting your arrival. "(y/n)" Your name was shouted at you courtesy of Aja who you figured was very affectionate today as you were pulled into her embrace.

When she ended the hug and settled on clutching your hands in hers, she dragged you over to a plate of weirdly shaped pancakes "You wouldn't guess what today is." She encouraged you to take a seat.

You wondered what today was, it isn't everyday that Aja woke up excited about anything. So it must be important, it better be important because it won't take very long for her attitude to rub off on you. You eyed the pancakes on your plate that were usually just round and flat.

"Apparently they are the shape of a human heart...Fascinating" Vex caught the look you were giving to the food and gave you his explanation. He wiped his hands on the random and out of place piece of clothing that was hanging from around his neck. You're not going to question it.

Aja took in a breath from beside you "Getting back to what i was saying, today is a human holiday which they call valentine's day isn't that exciting." She clapped her hands together trying to set the mood but you just weren't seeing it.

You tilted your head and gave her a small smile. It was awkward enough to give the idea that you had no idea what she was going on about.

"It is a day to show your appreciation for the ones that you love. As for my contribution I made pancakes" Vex held up the spatula proudly only to hit Krel in the face with a loud thwack. It was unfortunate that he entered during one of vex's moments of passion.

A pained groan resounded as he held onto his nose where the spatula hit him. "What was that for?"

Vex, who couldn't care less about hitting the royal, shrugged. "Accident" well, you guess this is your life now and these are the people who you are going to spend the rest of your days with. You gotta get used to their stupidity.

"Where did you come from?" you were aware of the things happening around you and you were sure that he didn't just come from his room. You would have seen or at least heard if he did. You also could have warned him of his upcoming fight with Varvatos's cooking tool.

He took the seat next to you. You took notice of the red color his face was becoming and it wasn't his usual blush. His reaction to the hit came on quickly. "Aja talked so much about this holiday so I had to see what was so great about it." it turned silent when your curiosity had you guessing about what he encountered.

"It's horrible, people are gushing about their spouses. And two strangers gave me hugs" he held out two fingers. He was over exaggerating, hugs were great especially when they were from new people or at least that's what you thought.

His sister, with a more cheerful opinion on the day, pulled him into a hug like she did with you earlier "Make that three" Krel was quick to try to brush her off even though he knew she outweighed him in the strength department.

Meanwhile you took a bite of the pancakes. You felt slightly bad for ruining such a beautiful piece of art but it was just so delicious, he must've learned from the television. You heard that it could be informative when it wanted to be. Before you knew it you were already finished with your plate.

"Finish up your breakfast then head down to the transduction chambers." Vex's voice had their attention turned to you. You swallowed the last of Aja's pancakes and put the plate atop the other two.

The queen in waiting eyes widened when she discovered that you had eaten her food.

She huffed your name in a tone you knew all too well.

That was your signal. You rushed off your chair and towards your intended destination, giving yourself a head start.

You didn't focus too much on Aja's hurried footsteps behind you so your steps would not falter. If you gave too much thought to the fact that you were being chased it would be distracting.

Regardless of the angry teenage girl catching up to you you were killing two birds with one stone. On the bright side, you were both heading to the transduction chambers anyways.

You didn't even question why you needed your human disguise. There was no school today so you figured it would be a relaxing day.

Cause you could really use one.

According to Krel, everything was going exactly as planned. Aja was practically clicking her heels in excitement. Today was the day.

She shut off her smartphone and turned her attention to you. You were abullient over the flavor of the drink you were consuming. You really had no idea what this day would bring.

"Aj, you listening?" You took another sip of your purple drink. She may not have been listening but it did look delicious.

She tried to throw you off "I'm just so happy that we finally have a girls dayyyyyyy...." You gave her a look and she piped down "no I wasn't listening"

You shook the remaining drink watching the color swirl "not that I'm not enjoying this, but why are we having a "girls day" you were getting suspicious and that was not part of the plan.

"we just haven't spent a lot of time together and today is perfect, I mean look around" you did "let's make the best of it"

"There sure is alot of pink" you finished your smoothie and dropped it into the nearest trash can. "Alright, you've sold me, where to next?"

You knew that there were very many places aja wanted to visit on earth. "Smoothies were my idea so you choose?" You weren't listening to her anymore, instead focused on the window of a shop.

It was the same shop from earlier. You were still hung up over that dress. she had to get you away before you got genuinely upset over it. That was also on the "don't" list.

She put her hands on your shoulders "how about we just see where the universe takes us." She got your attention off the dress.

You wordlessly agreed, allowing her to drag you away from the store front.

Apparently "seeing where the universe takes you" was a bad idea. You two were just wandering around the almost empty streets.

"We don't need a puppy, we got luug" Aja was holding onto a dog identical to the one you already have at home or at least when he is in his human form.

She rubbed the happy puppy's ears and it leaned into her touch. He looked soft from outside the window and she had the urge to pet it.

Your phone beeped, notifying you of an incoming text. You were quick to take it from its resting place.

Way too quick.

With a smile you answered the unknown person and pocketed your phone. "Hey Aj, it's getting late, I think it's time to head home"

She looked over at the digital clock reading the time from it. "It's only 4 o'clock, why the rush" you were enjoying yourself just a second ago.

"Rush, there is no rush" you laugh was far from genuine. It actually made her more suspicious over anything else.

"And we only have a few horvath's before our transduction wears off"

"Yeah but not until late at night"

"But you could never be too careful." You exited the pet shop with Aja on your trail. You were heading in the opposite direction, no longer following the universe.

You let out a yawn albeit a fake one that she saw through easily but it was still a yawn. You were trying to distract her.

She jogged to your side. You were walking fast even in Aja's opinion "what's going on?" She was supposed to keep you out until she got the signal. And she hasn't gotten the signal.

This would be so much easier if you were in on the secret. Everything you did threatened the stability of Krel's planning. Then again he was never good with planning anything other than technology.

But she had faith "home, i'm so tired" faith that you would stop blatantly lying through your teeth.

She opened her mouth to speak "and you aren't stopping me" she then closed her mouth. You were not in a loving mood today. Kind of ironic seeing as today was supposed to be about love.

It was made clear that she wasn't stopping you so she had to warn her brother of your early arrival.

She bumped into you. She was too focused on her phone to notice that she was walking to close for comfort.

Her device dropped onto the floor. It bounced a bit before landing and a sickening crack could be heard from miles away.

You bent down to pick it up before she even had a chance to. Worry filled her core as you flipped the phone over to examine it.

There were harsh cracks running through the screen making the still opened chat harder to read. She snatched the device from your hand like it was second nature.

You didn't acknowledge the motion "hmm you were texting Krel, he told me that he was too busy to talk" you didn't sound too hurt about it but there were times when you were a good liar.

"But I thought you were just texting him, back in the store" you were so happy looking at your phone she had guessed you were talking about krel.

You picked up the pace to finish your walk back home "oh..that, yeah, yeah I was, that was when he told me he was busy" Another laugh escaped your lips.

That settled it, you were totally lying to her. But it wasn't like she was being the most truthful person either.

You took long strides, not even stopping to gawk at the dress, Another red flag.

You were passing by shops closer to home now. It made her think about if you actually went as far as she thought you had.

This may have been a ploy but she did enjoy the time she spent bonding with you. Earth made your personality more lively than she remembered it to be. Too bad it had to be cut short.

"Here already?" You rounded the corner. The rows and rows of houses blocked you from the humans' views.

You summoned your hoverboard. You were already close to the mothership but you were eager and it was faster than walking by foot.

You hopped on the floating board and controlled it towards the direction of the house. It was a gift from Krel, non royals or staff weren't allowed to have serrators on Akiridion 5 but there were no rules against this form of transportation.

Aja was following, running close behind you. She didn't think that the board would be needed for a girls day out. Even on your flying device she was still able to beat you to the door.

You shoved her out of the way to open the door. You didn't even bother to pick up the hoverboard transmitter.

She got a lot of exercise today.

She couldn't let you out of her sight. She had to make sure you didn't get close to the mothership.

It was an easy task because you disappeared from her sight and into your room. She was sure that you were going to hit the wall.

"Keep an eye on her" she commanded the blank bot that stood at the sink doing whatever it was that blanks do in their spare time.

The wall of the fireplace slid down. The entrance of the mothership glowed its natural blue color inviting her inside. "Got it" she didn't get to hear the blank's response as the entrance sealed behind her.

There was a crash and a bang followed by Krel and vex's loud voices piling over one another. It was that classic sound of a brewing argument and she wanted to turn back before she got sucked into it.

"Aja, there you are, tell Varvatos that the pink looks better" He shoved two different color party streamers in her face. So much for staying out of it.

Earlier today you said something about the color pink being everywhere "I think I prefer the red" Vex looked pleased at her decision.

Krel threw the streamers onto the floor "ay yi yi, this isn't supposed to be this stressful" He dramatically hit his head to the round table that was in the middle of the room.

"No one said that confessing your love for someone was easy" Her hand met Krels shoulder. She began rubbing small circles into his shirt.

"It's just... (Y/N) deserves the best" He raised his face off the table to make eye contact with Aja. "And I really want to be the one to give her everything she's ever wanted"

Varvatos and Aja nonchalantly shared a glance. A hint of a smile made its way across their faces. When it came to you, Krel was emotionally open.

"Wait, why aren't you watching (Y/N)?" He lifted himself off the table completely. His gloomy guise was taken over by one of fear and panic.

She crossed her arms and pointed to the entrance "I had the blanks watch her." It took a secton for that sentence to settle in. When it did they all ceased their movements.

"Mother, where is (Y/N)?" Vex asked the Ai. He knew that the blank bots were incapable of such a simple task.

"I'm afraid that she left meckrons ago"

Krel stepped forward asking mother his question "where did she go?"

"She is going on a date"

No...no...no, meckrons ago you were upset that Krel didn't make an effort to text you and now you already ran off with someone else. Someone that wasn't krel.

Krels clear eyes were converted to a glassy state within the secton. He looked just about ready to brawl his eyes out "That's not true... that can't be true" he moved his sister out of the way. No one had any respect for her today.

They followed after him as he rushed out of the mothership. He didn't stop to draw a breath until he was standing at the front door with his comrades behind him.

"There" He pointed at your figure. From what he saw you were focused on the device, typing away before you disappeared around the corner.

He couldn't let you get too far away. Then he would lose you in the crowd of people occupying the sidewalk.

He was about to lose you to someone else. He didn't care about anything else.

As he picked up speed he didn't give a thought to the hoverboard he had on him. His eyes were stinging, burning with rage and sadness. He didn't care about the people he ran into or If Aja and vex were still behind him.

He only cared about you. It's been like that since he laid eyes on you when you were both children. The images were buzzing through his brain, your smile, your personality...

You came to a standstill at the next street light. Your eyes flickered up to watch the time on your cell phone. He was supposed to be here by now.

"Hey (y/n)" and there he was, late as always sprinting towards you with an outstretched hand. His other hand gripped tightly around an array of flowers.

Flowers weren't a pleasure you got to enjoy on your home planet. The first one that you saw had you enraptured. The shapes and colors came together so well that it made it hard for you to believe that they grew from out of the earth.

You were enveloped in his arms within the secton. You thought that there was no such thing as a sloppy hugger but here in his arms you were proven incorrect. Still you wrapped your arms around his middle and held him back trying to match his godly grip.

You were able to breathe again when he released you. There is too much positive energy radiating off of everyone that you couldn't help smiling.

You looked down at his choice of clothing "A different color, I like it." You called attention to his red sweater. You knew that his signature color was blue when it came to his fluffy covering. The change was fortuitous.

"These are for you, my bestest friend in the whole wide world" He held the bouquet out to you. He might have stretched out the best friend portion. The two of you met by accident and a very messy one might you add. The ordeal included huge rock creatures, running and mud... lots and lots of mud.

And to think that that was only a few days ago. " Already?, it's safe to say that i made a good first impression, and thank you" You took the flowers from him, your gratitudes rolling off your tongue.

"It was better than any other first impressions" He scratched the back of his neck nervously. Heck yeah it was better than any first impression, you almost died.

You did get a memorable experience out of it and three awesome new friends, excluding the friendly stone creature that you were introduced to.

He hooked his arm through yours the same as kayli had. It was an indication of friendship and trust on this planet. You weren't sure why he trusted you, you were a liar. You lied to Aja to get out of a girls day when all she was trying to do was be a good friend. When she finds out about it then you would apologize for it.

You shook your head, clearing your conscience. That would have to wait because now it's time to enjoy yourself with your new buddy.

"So I take it that things didn't go well with Claire '' you made small talk to fill the silence. She was the girl he has been crushing on for a while according to toby, his chubby best friend.

You understand that if Claire agreed to be his date then he wouldn't be here with you. If Krel asked you you would've canceled this hangout in a secton. However he didn't so this was the next best thing and Jim was nice to be around.

He responded after exhaling shakily " She said she was busy so here we are" He laughed through his clenched teeth. "But that's enough about me, how about you? Is there a special someone in your life?" He recoiled quickly.

You knew that Claire was a sensitive topic and one that you would talk more about when you were better acquainted. Now he asked you a question, it's only proper because you had knowledge about him.

Could you really tell him about Krel. You had a hard time articulating your emotions into sentences. Those types of conversations were ones that you brushed off. Still, it would be nice to hear new words from a person who wasn't Aja or vex.

"Yeah actually" he perked up prompting you to go on "We have been best friends for like ever and i realized that i was..." You paused.

"You were what?, A potato, a troll" He detached your arms with fever. He was really interested in what you had to say. Even though those things don't even correlate with your story in any way.

You playfully punched his shoulder "No, i was in love with him you idiot" That was the first time you've ever said that out loud

He threw his hands up "I was just twisting your arm" you peered down at your arm "I didn't mean that literally." Oh, it was just another figure of speech, humans are such confusing creatures. "So why aren't you with him right now?"
