Uncle hit a spot on the map in front of us, as we stood next to a bunch of soldiers. "We know that she is in sector five." Uncle started. "This is a game we call hide and seek."

"It's a scent drill." I explained to the clueless soldiers.

"We've done this about a thousand times with these animals." My uncle added. "When they get on target, and they will get on target, wait to engage. Velocriraptors are pack hunters. They like to herd the animal into a kill zone. That's when we take our shot and get a clear shot, wait on my command and give her everything you got." He paused. "We got one good target gentlemen, do not shoot the raptors." He looked around. "Please."

"Is it safe for a little girl to come around?" One of the soldiers scoffed, motioning towards me.

I opened my mouth to speak, but my uncle covered my mouth. It took him ten minutes to try to persuade him to let me come, and I even threatened him. "She is more knowledgeable about these animals then you. She has been with them since day one, and has the exact same training as I do." He defended. "She is probably more qualified than you lot." With that, I smiled smugly before turning around and following my uncle to the raptors.

My uncle immediately made his way towards Blue, and Barry went to Delta. Charlie got the stranger to him, while I went over to Echo, who growled at the presence of the soldiers.

I pressed my hand to just under the skin next to his eyes, stroking it slightly.

"Elvis, calm down." I sighed, "You can do this. I know that thing is uncomfortable slash annoying, and I even hate it. But you can do this, and you will make it out alive. You will save everyone here." I talked to him, and I. I'm not sure if I was saying it to fool him, or myself.

"Owen." I heard Gray's voice, making me turn my head as well. Is Zach there?

I saw Gray holding the bars, while Zach rested his arm in a way to look cool, and looked away as soon as I got up. "Are they safe?" Gray inquired.

"No, they're not." My uncle honestly stated. I started standing up at that, walking towards my uncle and Zach. I spotted my uncle giving Zach a hard stare still.

"What are their names?" Zach asked both my uncle and I, but remaining eye contact with me. My uncle moved me so he would be in front of Zach and I'd be in front of gray.

"That one is Charlie," I smiled, pointing at the one I was just beside. "Echo, Elvis or my baby." I proudly motioned towards Echo. My uncle rolled his eyes at that comment and then continued naming Delta and Blue. "Blue's the Beta." I smiled.

"Who's the alpha?" Gray loudly asked.

"You're looking at him, kid." My uncle smirked.

"Not with this line again." I groaned, putting my head against a bar, making Gray grin even bigger.

"Will you two be safe?" Zach asked, looking at the ground before looking back at us.

"Sadly," My uncle stood in front of me even more, as if shielding me from Zach. "Niether of us will be safe, due to her hard headedness."

"Pfft." I flicked my wrist. "It's not being hard headed," I defended. "It's being there for Echo, Charlie, Delta and Blue." I smiled up at my uncle.

"You guys got to get back to your aunt." My uncle mentioned, still eyeing Zach suspiciously, and I saw Gray chuckle more. "Stay safe, okay?" He did care about them though. With that, my uncle glared at Zach one last time before going back to the raptors.

"Why don't you just stay with us?" Gray asked me, while Zach took my hand from where it was hanging on the bar.

"If someone you loved, and someone who grew up with you, is going to be put into danger, with or without you." I quoted. "You would rather be with them." I gave them a sad smile. I opened the gate so I could slip out and give Gray a hug. "Don't let your brother lead you into anything bad, and listen to instructions." I warned, pulling away from the hug. "We all know how last time worked out." I grined, pulling away causing him to grin too. I turned to look at Zach, who started pushing Gray away.

"Can you leave us alone, man?" He asked, slightly pushing Gray away.

"Oooh." Gray teased, making me roll my eyes as he walked towards the van.

"Stay safe, okay?" I told him, before I enveloped him in a hug.

"You're the one going out to see the creature!" He sounded shocked, making me chuckle. "I still want that date." He teased, before pressing his lips against my lips quickly. "So, stay safe."

"I'm going to be with my uncle, you've seen him in action." I smirked, making him smirk as he still held onto me.

"HEY!" My uncle screamed, making us flinch apart. I flipped him off, before kissing Zach's cheek, making them go pink.

"Bye..." I waved, before walking back into the cages. I turned around in time to see him walking back to the van with a goofy, yet nervous grin.
