Kim Roksu kept walking until he reached the park and sat down on a bench. Looking around, not alot of people are here.

The park was Infront of a convenient store, he stood up to go and buy a drink and cup noodles.

A gentle cold breeze greeted him as he walked in and started to head to where cup noodles were and grab a bottle of water.

After getting what he needed, he went to pay and stayed there to eat.

Waiting for a few minutes to let the Noodles cook, he opened the water bottle and took a few sips.

Once he felt like waiting long enough, he opened the cup noodles and used the chopsticks to stir it up with its seasoning.

"It's been a long time since i felt this free" Kim Roksu mumbled to himself before starting to eat.

"Damn it, how can i not find any apartment to stay in"

Kim Roksu grumbled in displeasure, since he couldn't find anywhere to stay the night in, he's gotta have to sleep on the cold hard bench in the park.

A cold breeze of night winds made him shiver. He placed on his only jacket and hoped he can get through the night safely.

He was eventually able to sleep despite the cold.

Light shone onto him, signaling that it was now morning.

Kim Roksu stood up and streched. The bench wasn't at all comfortable, but it was better than the ground itself.

He went to check his bag to see if theres anything missing and thanked god nothing seemed missing nor out of place

The 2nd day of finally gaining freedom. He took out a biscuit and a water bottle he bought at the convenience store last night and ate them as breakfast.

Kim Roksu doesn't eat alot, his uncle would sometimes lock the door from the outside of his room, often starving him.

It wasn't till next morning was he able to come out. The only times he was actually able to eat was once his uncle remembered that he was locked in.

Once he was sure his uncle left again was when he would go out in search for anything to eat. Biscuits was really the only thing he could even get.

Kim Roksu looked up and sighed.

'Living is too hard, but i cant give up after escaping' He thought.

Kim Roksu grabbed his bag and went to try and find a place to stay in again.

Luckily this time, he was actually able to find a pretty cheap apartment for him to stay long enough for a week. Although they were confused why it was only him, he lied that he was kicked out by his uncle.

Earning pity from the adults, they let him get free meals from them while he stayed. Kim Roksu had no plans in declining free food, less problems to deal with.

Kim Roksu didn't need to worry much about school since its summer.

He asked the adults if there was a paying job he could do to earn for a living.

Once again, accidentally gaining pity from the adults, they gave him a job of washing the dishes and getting paid about 7.5k won an hour.

Kim Roksu wasn't sure if he was getting underpaid or overpaid, but as long as he can earn money to survive by himself in the future, it was enough.

Months passed and Kim Roksu can now safely say that he has gotten fatter, well he's still skinny but at least he's no longer skin and bones.

"Eun noonim, i need to get going to school. Jaesang Hyungnim is waiting for me"

"Calm down Roksu, theres still time, let that guy wait longer"

Bo Eun, a kind receptionist who first offered him to get free meals as long as he stays.

"Oi Eun, let the kid go, gotta send him off to school and theres traffic"

Wan Jaesang, one of the other people who stays in the apartment. He's going to send Roksu to school since his office goes the same road as his School.

"Fine, just one last picture Roksuu~" Bo Eun kept taking pictures if Kim Roksu in his uniform, saying that he always looks so cute in it.

A few minutes passed, and Roksu was finally able to get on Wan Jaesang's car and drove off.

Bo Eun looked at her pictures of Kim Roksu and squealed.

"I swear, that dongsaeng of mines reddish-brown eyes are so pretty!"

The receptionist happily skipped towards the front desk and sat down, looking at old pictures of Kim Roksu and comparing it the new one.

She happily sighed seeing a good change.

While driving, Won Jaesang spoke to Kim Roksu.

"Hey kid, i wont be able to pick you up after school so you gotta use subway for today. Those bastards are making me work overtime again"

The adult shook his head and looked at the skinny kid next to him.

Most of the people who stayed in the apartment liked Kim Roksu. Not only for his hard work in helping around, but also because of how understanding he usually is with everyone's problems than makes them at ease with his presence.

Kim Roksu may not be too good with words, however he is excellent with listening. He wouldn't judge then regardless of how minor the problem seems.

Simply his presence is enough to calm them down.

Truly makes them wonder what kind of hell Roksu lived to act like this.

After a few more turns, they finally reached Kim Roksu's School.

Kim Roksu got off and waved at Won Jaesang, the adult waved back and drove to work.
