"Tom." I tried to speak, but my throat felt dry and that hurt like a bitch as well. The ringing died down slowly as I heard footsteps come towards me, as well as voices but I couldn't make out the words.

Finally I forced my eyes to snap open, little white dots covered my vision, but I was met with a pair of green eyes, eyes almost like Tom's.

Except Tom never wore a pair of round glasses.

Those green eyes were the last thing I saw, I could feel my body begin to shut down again. From not only the blood lost, but of pure shock. Those eyes, I've seen them before, in my visions, this boy crouched down before me I've seen from the future.

This was the future that was destined to destroy, the very thing that caused me to enrol into Hogwarts. The thing that sparked a fear for Tom, because I knew how this story ended.

Black dots quickly started to replace the white ones by the second, my vision quickly thinning and the boy in front of me with the lightening scar and bright green eyes vanishing.
