Morning turns into the afternoon.

Seth is cleaned, dressed, and has eaten breakfast and lunch. He walks out of his bedroom and enters the living room. He turns to Sue who is watching TV with Leah. 

" Mom. Leah. I am leaving. I am going to the Cullen house, and I want to ask Edward if it is okay to bring Melody here until Bella gets better" Seth tells them.

Leah stands up. 

" I'm going as well" She tells him. " I know Melody is your Imprintee which means that she is going to be my family, but I still don't trust you around the Cullen" She looks at him.

Seth nods his head.

Sue smiles at her children.

" Be careful, and Leah can you drive your brother to the Cullen house. You can use my van" Sue points to her car keys on the door. 

" Why the van?" Leah asked Sue.

Sue raised an eyebrow.

" You two are bringing back a baby. A baby is safer in a van than on a wolf's back, Leah" She tells her. " I thought you know better" She sighs.

Leah wears an embarrassed expression.

Seth laughs as he quickly grabs the car keys and throws it at Leah who caught it with ease.

" Bye, Mom. We'll be back soon" Seth waves goodbye to Sue as he runs out of the house and towards the van that is parked in front of his house.

Leah waves goodbye to Sue as she gets out of the house. She walks towards the van and sighs. She can't believe that she is going to drive a van. She opens the door and gets inside as she puts the seat belt around her waist. She closed the door and turned her head to the right and sees Seth comfortably sitting in the passenger seat.

" Seth. I know you are fifteen-years-old. You need to man up and start learning how to drive a car if you wish to hang out with Melody when she gets older" Leah tells him. 

" Don't worry, Leah. I will!" Seth smiles at her. " Now, let's go. I don't like being far away from Melody" He pouts.

Leah looks away from Seth as she turns on the van and drives backward. She turns the van to the left and drives forward as she heads to the Cullen house. 

An hour later. 

Leah parks the van in front of the Cullen house. Jacob and Embry were eating their lunches when they see Leah and Seth getting out of the van. Both men bit their lips wanting to laugh but didn't when Leah glares at them.

" Don't even think about it" Leah tells them. 

Seth walks up to the Cullen house and knocks on it. He smiles when he sees Esme opening the door with a crying Melody in her arms. He frowns when he sees his Imprintee in tears.

" Aww. Why is Melody crying?" Seth asked Esme.

" Edward has been busy taking care of Bella and whenever one of us holds her. She starts to cry" Esme tells him. 

Seth looks down at Melody.

" Can I hold her?" He politely asked her.

" Of course. Maybe, she will calm down with you" Esme gently passed Melody to Seth.

Seth carefully holds Melody in his arms.

Melody stops crying when she recognizes the warmness that she likes. She opens her eyes and blinks when she sees Seth. She coos when Seth smiles at her.

Esme wears a surprised expression.

" She stopped crying" She sighs in relief. 

Seth smiles happily.

" Melody. Do you know where your Papa is at?" He asked her. 

Melody tries to turn her head back where she last saw Edward entering a room. 

" If you are looking for Edward. He is outside of the medical room. I can take Melody for you?" Esme asked him.

Seth shakes his head.

" It's okay" He smiles at her.

Esme nods her head.

Seth walks with Melody to the medical room. He politely knocks the door as he makes sure that Melody is comfortable in his arms. He hears the door opened and smiles when he sees Edward. 

Edward sees Seth and Melody.

" Hey" He smiles at them.

" Hi, Edward. I'm sorry to interrupt you. But, I was wondering if it is okay if Melody lives with me at La Push until Bella gets better?" Seth looks at Edward in the eyes.

Edward blinks.

He looks down at Melody who started to fall asleep in Seth's arms. His expression softened. 

" Melody seems to be calmer around you. When you left, she started to cry. She doesn't cry when I hold her, but when I have to go check up on Bella, she starts to cry again" Edward explains to him. " I'm okay with you taking care of Melody until Bella gets better. I'll call you when Bella is awake" He smiles at him.

Seth smiles back at Edward.

" Don't worry, Edward. I promise you that I will record every cute thing that she does for you and Bella to watch" He happily tells him.

Edward chuckles. 

" Thank you so much" He tells him.

" And how is Renesmee doing?" Seth curiously asked him.

" Renesmee is doing well. Much calmer around everyone" Edward tells him. 

Seth nods his head.

" Maybe it's because she knows that Jacob is outside of her house" He tells him. 

" Maybe" Edward mumbles. 

" I'm going to tell Esme to give me Melody's stuff for you-" He was cut off by Alice.

" I got it!" Alice held Melody's baby bag which is a purple zebra stripped baby bag. " It has all of Melody's clothes, toys, diapers, baby wipes, and baby bottles" She tells them. " Carlisle said that he is going to give you a cooler filled with donated animal blood that you can give to Melody. He also wants you to try giving her regular milk, so he can see if she can adapt to regular milk like human babies" She smiles at them. 

Seth nods his head as he takes the baby bag with his right hand and puts it over his right shoulder. He carefully held Melody in his left arm and looks down at her.

" She is still asleep. So, that is good" He smiles at her. 

Melody unknowingly held Seth's left finger with her right hand as she coos in her sleep.

" Well. Melody and I should get going" Seth tells Edward.

Edward nods his head. 

" Seth" He smiles at him. " Thank you for doing this for Bella and me. We appreciate it" He tells him.

Seth smiles at him. 

" Anytime, Edward" He gently pats Edward's pack. " Just take care of Bella for Melody. I know she will be excited to meet her Mama when she gets better" He tells him.

Edward nods his head. 

" I'll walk you two out of the house" He tells him.

Edward walks with Seth and Melody out of the house. He looks forward and sees Carlisle putting a cooler inside of the trunk. He turns his head slightly to the right and chuckles when he sees Jacob and Embry struggling to put Melody's crib in the van.

" You two better not scratch my Mom's car!" Leah shouts at them. 

" Can you guys just take the crib apart and reassemble it at Seth's place?" Embry asked. 

In a second, Edward grabs the crib and takes it apart and puts the pieces in the van. 

" See. That wasn't hard" Edward smirks at Jacob.

Jacob rolls his eyes.

Edward lightly closes the back of the van. He turns to look at Melody who is asleep.

" Be good to Seth and his family, okay" He lovingly kisses Melody's forehead.

Melody yawns and snuggles close to Seth's warmth. She smiles in her sleep as she dreams of running in the forest with a big yellowish wolf by her side.
