We left the office, and muttered quiet, grief-filled goodbyes, most of us splitting to different directions. I started to walk towards the direction of my house, when I heard something behind me moving towards me. I spun around, and saw Mike biking towards me. I raised my eyebrow at him. He pulled up next to me and stopped, setting one of his feet on the ground and smiling at me.
"Need a ride, Byers?" He asked breathlessly. I nodded hesitantly. "Hop on." He said, moving forward a bit to make more room on the back of his bike. I sat down, and rested my hands on either side of the seat. Mike laughed. "You can hold on if you want." He said. My face went red, yet I definitely didn't want to fall off, so I slowly wrapped my arms around his lower back, resting my cheek on the back of his shoulder blades. He looked over his shoulder at me and smiled.
"Are we gonna drive or what..." I muttered into the back of his jacket, burying my face in it. He laughed, and started pedaling.

"Will, slow down!" The small girl giggled as she held tightly onto her brother. The boy she held onto had just learned how to ride his bike, and was now speeding back and forth in front of their house, listening to his sister's sounds of glee.
"Hold on!!" The boy yelled, and started working his legs faster. The girl on the back of the seat caused the bike to wobble a little, and then a lot, soon making the boy lose all control of the bike. The two kids screeched as the bike fell to the side, skidding on its way down, the two kids being taken down with it. The boy fell on his knees, skinning them. The girl was flung off the other side onto her shoulder, letting out a loud yelp.
"Sis!" The boy forgot about his knees in an instant, rushing towards his sister and looking over her. The girl started to cry, her left elbow bending as a clear sign of a broken arm. The boy called for his mother right as the girl lost consciousness.....
The girl awoke in the hospital. Her older brother and mother were asleep on the ugly green couch on the left side of the room, yet the brother that matched her age was right at her bedside, wide awake. When the girl's eyes opened, the Boy's worried expression brightened into a sunny, toothy smile.
"MAGGIE!!!" The boy screamed, loud enough to wake the other two members in the Byers family. The mother of the three children shook herself awake, and rushed towards the smaller girl's bedside, the older brother behind her. The smaller boy, Will, had his arms wrapped around the girl, Maggie. They were both laughing hysterically, like children should.
"I love you, Maggie!" Will exclaimed.
"I love you too, Will." Maggie responded.

The memory, that was supposed to be happy, had started to burn my brain, ruin me from the inside. I started to cry, tightening my grip on Mike, trying not to make much noise. I let the tears fall, not making any sound, the tears warmed my cheeks, yet my heart stayed frozen. My soft cries started turning to sobs. I felt Mike relax a bit, and he turned his head only the slightest. He sighed.
"You okay, Maggie." He spoke as if he knew the answer. And he did. So I didn't answer the question. My mouth opened as I let out a shaky breath, and asked him a question of my own.
"Where's my brother, Mike."
