                                                                   Later
I rushed into my house, speeding down the hallway and throwing the door to Will's room open. Nothing. Tears filled my eyes, and I walked in, sitting on his bed. I looked around the room, looking at the pictures of Will and I. Tears were streaming down my cheeks.

"Will....come back...." I whispered. I looked down at my hands. I heard a static sound, making me jump. The lights started flickering. I jumped to my feet.  "MOM?! JONATHAN?!.....Will..." it was crazy. Will was there. The lights started flickering more. My eyes went wide. "Will...WILL!!!" I stood up. The light flickered faster and faster. I started to walk back, my slight feeling of hope being replaced by the sharp stab of fear. The lights got brighter, brighter, brighter, brighter, CRASH!! I screamed, falling back. The lights had exploded. All of them. It was dark. I lay there, on the floor of my missing brothers room, hyperventilating. Tears streaming down my face, my breath coming out in huge bursts. I heard my Walkie-Talkie turn on in my room, immediately snapping me out of my trance.

"Maggie, do you copy?" I heard Mike's voice coming from the Walkie-Talkie. I scrambled to my feet, rushing to my room and picking it up, pressing the button.

      "Y-y-yeah. Over." I said.

"Are you okay? You sound scared. Over." Mike replied.

"I'm...I'm fine. What do you need? Over."

       "I'm worried about Will....over."

I smiled bitterly. "You have no idea. Over."

"I was thinking....Will could've cast protection last night. But he didn't. Over."

I raised my eyebrow. "Yeah, so? Over."

"My point is....he could've played it safe. But he didn't. He put himself in danger for the health of the party. Over."

My mind clicked. "Meet me in 10. Get Dustin and Lucas. We have my brother to find. Over." I dropped the Walkie-Talkie and got my coat on, putting on my boots also. When I went to leave, there was a voice behind me.

"Honey, where are you going." My mom said from behind me. She sounded exhausted. I turned around and smiled sympathetically.

"I'm just going to the Wheelers, mommy. Mike and I are partners on a science project." I said. She nodded.

"Stay over there tonight, okay? Just....just to be safe." She said, I nodded.

"Okay, I'll call you if I can't stay over." I said. She smiled.

   "That's my girl."

I biked up to the rest of the boys just as it started to rain. Dustin looked up at the sky.

"Hey guys...ya feel that?" He asked, a raindrop falling into his face. Mike and Lucas started to walk into the woods, and I followed closely, slightly afraid. "I think maybe we should go back-""NO!" Mike cut Dustin off right when he finished his sentence.

"We're not going back. Just stay close." He said. Roger that. "Stay on channel 6. Don't do anything stupid." Mike said. We walked a bit further into the forest, when shills started creeping up and down my body, making my teeth chatter. I saw Mike looking at me from the corner of my eye. I turned to him.

"W-what's up..?" I asked, shivering. He looked me up and down.

   "You cold?"

    "I-I'll manage."

"Here." Mike shrugged off his coat, handing it to me. Disputes the bitter cold, my face grew warm.

"M-mike, no, what if you get-""take the damn jacket, Byers." He laughed. I smiled softly, nodding. He wrapped it around my shoulders, and I snuggled my face into it. It smelled like him. Comforting. Lucas snorted at Mike.

"What's up with the "prince" act?!" He asked sneakily.

"She's a girl!" Mike shot back.

"So?! Don't treat her like royalty! Unless...ooooooh~~!!" Lucas made a cooing sound, and Mike ran over to him, smacking him on the head.

"Shut up." He growled. I laughed lightly. As the darkness settled, we pulled out or flashlights and flicked them on, calling for will.

"WILL!!"

"WILLY?!"

"WILLL!!"

"WILL! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

It when on for too long. He's not out here. The storm got worse, and we were all basically huddling to keep warm.

"I think we should turn back." Dustin said.

"No! If you wanna be a baby, then go!" Lucas snapped.

    "I'm just being realistic, Lucas!"

"No, You're being a huge sissy!"

"Did you ever think Will went missing because he ran into something bad? In the exact same spot he was last seen....?" I asked weakly. Mike rubbed my arm.

"I'm sure he's fine, Mags." Mike said. I heard someone running through the forest. "Guys." I said. They all heard it too, and looked towards the sounds. Nothing. We heard it again, except louder. And closer. I grabbed onto Mike. We turned the other way.

There was a girl.

She was strange.
