*A few hours later*

I woke up to the door downstairs slamming. "Fuck! No no no Chris wake up" I shook Chris and he sucked his teeth.

"Sleep" He mumbled. "Put on your clothes!" I got off the bed and threw his clothes at him.

"Why?" "My boyfr-"

The door flew open and I jumped. "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?!" Travis yelled.

"T-travis baby I-"

He stomped over to me, grabbed my neck and banged me on the wall.

"You fucking slut!" His veins were popping out of his face and I was getting dizzy.

"Get the fuck off of her!" Chris punched the shit out of him and he flew back.

Travis pulled the gun that was in his backpocket and shot Chris in the leg.

"NO!" I ran over to him and put my hand over the bullet wound.

"Chris I just got you back please try your best to stay awake okay?" I sniffled as I seen his eyes flickering.

"Bitch!" Travis pulled me by my hair and kicked me in my face.

"Travis!" I screamed as he beat me without stopping.

"Fuckin worthless ass slut fuck you!" He kicked me a few more times and then unbuckled his pants.

"Travis please no!" He took off his belt and started hitting me with it.

He ignored me and hit me for about ten minutes.

"Stupid bitch I knew I shouldn't have let you stay at my crib!" He stopped hitting me and I just laid on the floor shaking.

He left the room and I couldn't feel anything.

My body was all bruised up.

"Chris? I'm gonna get you help" I took one of Travis's trap phones from under the bed and dialed 911.

"Ma'am would you like some water?" "I wanna see Chris!" I yelled for the millionth time.

"I'm afraid I can't do that" She shook her head.

I've been asking for Chris and they won't let me see him.

"Why not?" "...Between me and you...why would you even get involved with a woman beater? You knew about his past. He hit you why would you wanna see him?"

"What? He wasn't the one who hit me!"

"So who did?" "Travis did!!"

"He said you'll probally blame it on him" The nurse shook her head. "Huh?"

"Your best friend. Travis. He said you love him so much that you'll blame it on him"

I was so shocked.

"Exactly" She shook her head. "Please" I begged.

"He'll be arrested when he comes out of surgery so no" "Arrested? Why!?"

She ignored me and left the room.

"I need to see him!!" I yelled.

"Karin what the fuck?! I can hear you screaming from downstairs!" Khream busted into my room and I gasped.

"Khream!" I wrapped my arms around him silently crying. "I missed you big sis" Khream started crying.

Something I haven't seen since we were kids.

"Im so sorry for leaving I-I" "Explain when you get better"

"Wheres Trinity?" "Waiting room with the twins. We were arguing about who should come in first" He chuckled.

"Why can't she come in?" "We don't want the kids seeing their aunt for the first time like this"

"Oh.." "Why are you in here?"

I went silent.

"Just tell me. Cause I know Chris is here too." "Chris got shot by my boyfriend and I got beat by him"

"Why is he putting his hands on you?" "He only hits me when hes mad" I said.

"Karin c'mon why are you with him and how the fuck did Chris get shot and why?"

"We fucked and he came home and got mad"

"Yall had sex?"

"Yes"

Khream sighed.

"He choked me and Chris hit him and Travis shot him" "Travis? Thats his name?"

I nodded.

"I'm putting a couple caps in his ass" Khream clenched his teeth.

"I'm sorry for leaving but I had no choice" I said lowly.

"Why did you leave?" "Crystal. Its a long story but once I lost the baby and I almost died I realized she was serious and I had to leave. I did it for you guys"

"I could've handed it Karin" "I can't always depend on you Khream!" I yelled.

"You tried to do shit your way and look where that got you! Separated from your own damn family!"

I stared at him with hurt all in my eyes and expression. "...Ima let Trinity come in now" He cleared his throat and I nodded slowly.

Khream left the room and a few seconds later Trinitg ran into the room and into my arms.

"I fucking missed you bestie" I felt her shaking as she cried on my shoulder.

"I missed you too" We stayed in that position for a few minutes.

"I've had no one to talk to or to laugh with and that shit was fucking with my head. Ever since you left, Khream has been sad and I had to be the happy one ignoring my own feelings and being there for the kids and I've just been alone and-"

"I know I know" I pulled her in for another hug. "He didn't even touch you right?"

"I gave him a hug and that was it" "He never wanna show his damn emotions"

"I know...And thank you" "For?"

"Naming the kids after me and my baby" I smiled.

"Don't gotta thank me bestie. I'm always talking about you to them its crazyyy. Like they know everything about you. They're 3 and you're gonna love them"

"I know I will" I giggled to myself as Trinity kept talking.

"Sorry I keep talking I just missed you sooooo much" "I thought about yall everyd-"

I looked at the door and I couldn't believe my eyes.

All my kids all grown up. They gotten so big.

"We're not here for you we just want a explanation" Nasir said.
