This chapter takes place 3 weeks after Zoes birthday!

Drakes House
Someone knocks on Zoes door and at the same time an alarm goes off. BEEP BEEP goes the alarm. Zoe wakes up to turn the alarm off and then goes back to sleep under her sheets.

"ZOE WAKE UP! Your gonna be late for school!", yells Reese.

Zoe jumps out of bed and runs straight to the bathroom. She takes a shower and puts on her best clothes for school. A grey shirt, green and yellow small vest and grey leggings. And of course with some green boots as usual. She ties her hair up in two pigtails with her yellow scrunchies. Zoe races to the door just in time to make it to the bus, Reese hands her bag to her as she leaves through the front door.

Taylors House
At the Taylors house Max is making his own lunch. He wears his red visors, red sweat shirt, and fannypack, with his orange sweat pants.
For lunch he decides to take some of his moms special sandwiches as a little treat.

The Bus
A boy is sitting in a seat already and invites Zoe to sit next to her, it's Max duh.

"I thought you weren't gonna make it.", says Max.

"I was so close to not making it. Thankfully I did because of Reese.", says Zoe with a smile.

"What would you do without Reese.", says Max as he playfully hits her arm with his elbow.

"I'd probably be late for school.", replies Zoe with a giggle.

Lunch
Max gestures to Zoe for her to sit next to him and Amy. Zoe takes a seat across from Max and Amy is sitting right next to him. Ever since the incident on the field trip and Amys first day, she has changed so much to being a non shy girl, she is more open and not as quiet as before. Amys hair is much longer and still brown, she wears cute dresses with headbands in her hair.

"Hey!", says Amy.

"Hi!", says Zoe.

"So how was your first half of the day?", asks Max.

"Good!", replies Zoe. "Yours?"

"Ugh I got a C in math. It was terrible.", says Max.

"Max. You need to study more.", says Zoe.

"Ms. Rockweiler was so mad at him. That he now has to stay after school today and study.", says Amy.

"Max! I thought we were going to hang out and maybe try to connect with Rex.", says Zoe.

"I know and I'm sorry, but I just can't skip out on this study hall thing. If I do then my parents will get mad and find out. If they get mad then I won't be able to hang out with you a lot.", replies Max.

"Ok...... I get it. I can maybe try on my own.", says Zoe sadly.

"I'm sure you can.", says Max.
