Suddenly, I jolted awake in a cold sweat and a massive headache due to a nightmare I had just had.

My sudden movements caused Katarina, clinging to my arm, to stir awake in her sleep.

(Y/N): I'm just going to get some fresh air... go back to sleep.

I saw Professor Ozpin with his signature coffee mug and his cane.

Ozpin: Around fifteen minutes... I'm surprised to see you up so early...

Ozpin waited for me to respond while I reluctantly sighed.

Ozpin pales for a moment before decomposing himself.

Ozpin: I wish we could do more, but I'm afraid that public perception is difficult to change. However, as I said at the opening ceremony, it's up to you to take the first step...

Sheepishly, I scratch the back of my head.

As Ozpin leaves, he has only one thought running through his mind.

After Ozpin left, I continued training for another hour when I was suddenly interrupted by Pyrrha.

Pyrrha: (Y/N), you're up quite early.

(Y/N): Ah well, I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep, so I decided to train for a bit, so my fighting doesn't get too rusty.

Pyrrha: If that's the case, would you mind being my sparring partner?

(Y/N): No, not at all.

Pyrrha: How should we do this? The first one to disarm their opponent wins?

Pyrrha and I got into position while preparing our weapons.

Charging towards Pyrrha, I attempt to slash her, only to be blocked by her shield while thrusting her spear forward to parry. I jump back just in time, narrowly dodging her blade.

Pyrrha: There was so much force in that... seems like he's not playing around...I better be careful...

(Y/N): I'm at a disadvantage... she has both defense and range with her weapons... and she's a much more skilled fighter than I am... If I'm going to win, I have to be smart with my movements...

Speeding forward, I unleash a barrage of slashes which Pyrrha attempts to parry, but a strike manages to get through, hitting her arm, which causes her to lose her shield.

(Y/N): Good, that should be enough to even out the playing fields a bit.

Pyrrha attempts to dash over to retrieve her shield, only for me to dash towards her, causing her to block my attack. I kick the shield away out of Pyrrha's reach during that time.

Pyrrha: Your fighting skills are getting better. It seems all that training is paying off.

(Y/N): Hm, You're not so bad yourself, Nikos.

I wink at Pyrrha with a smirk on my face, which causes her to blush and briefly lose focus. I drop my katana while clapping my hands in that brief moment, which manages to stun Pyrrha. Taking the opportunity, I catch my sword with my other hand and disarm Pyrrha of her spear.

(Y/N): Looks like I won.

Pyrrha looks surprised and pouts.

Pyrrha: That was a pretty cheap trick.

(Y/N): There's no such thing as a cheap trick in a real fight, love.

Pyrrha: Fair enough... Still, you did pretty well. I haven't had a fight that intense in a long time.

(Y/N): It was a pretty intense fight. We should do this more often...

Pyrrha: Definitely, this was quite enjoyable.

(Y/N): Well, I should get going. I need a shower after all this training. What about you?

Pyrrha: I'll probably do the same... though I wouldn't mind if you joined me...

Pyrrha and I stop in our tracks, blushing madly as realization sets in.

Pyrrha: D-did I just say that out loud?!

(Y/N): Y-yes... yes you did...

Pyrrha: Ahem... I'm sorry about that...

(Y/N): It's alright... I mean, as much as I would love to, I don't think we're there in our relationship just yet... plus I don't want to make the other jealous...

Shino: Katarina told us you woke up early and went out for some air, but you were gone for almost 3 hours.

(Y/N): Ehe, sorry... I went training for a while and ended up sparring with Pyrrha. Guess I lost track of time.

Alice pouts while the other three girls look.

I wink to the girls, causing them to blush.

During my shower, I've been reflecting on Ozpin's suggestion of coming up with a cover story for my cursed energy.

(Y/N): Maybe Aura Amplification? No... I'm sure somebody else already has that semblance... What about Aura Imbuement? It could probably pass off my cursed energy as me putting my aura into other objects to strengthen them... Yeah, that seems good...

With what I've learned from Gojo-Sensei, I still haven't even scratched the surface of the potential of my cursed energy.

(Y/N): Gojo-Sensei told me about a technique that reverses cursed energy into positive energy that can be used to heal others... I wonder what would happen if I combined that idea with my aura? Maybe I should try it and see what happens...

(Y/N): The headmasters thought it would be best until the heat died down a bit so I could grasp how I could apply it to my fighting style.

Shino: I guess that explains all the extra lessons you've been having without us.

Pyrrha: So, what does your semblance do exactly?

(Y/N): From what I can understand, it enhances my aura and allows me to transfer it to other objects. So, for example, I've been learning how to focus aura into my sword to increase physical capabilities, such as strength, speed, and defense.

Pyrrha: That would explain why your attacks were so forceful during our spar earlier.

Soul: Does it do anything else?

(Y/N): I'm sure I can use it to heal others as well, but I haven't thoroughly tested it out yet.

Weiss: Well, that certainly would be helpful in combat situations.

Alice: It does explain why you have so much more aura than anyone else.

(Y/N): Yeah, I agree... Speaking of which... Neo, can you come here for a moment?

Neo got up and walked over, and sat down next to me.

Neo: 'Sure, whatcha need?'

(Y/N): There's something I want to try... but first, I want to make sure you're comfortable being a test dummy in an experiment.

Neo: 'Okay... that sounds a little suspicious... but I trust you won't do anything that would harm me....'

(Y/N): Of course not, you know I would never hurt you.

I place my palm on Neo's neck, causing her to tense up. I focus on imbuing cursed energy into my palm, then reinforcing it with more cursed energy to reverse it into positive energy. Finally, I focus some of my aura on it, which multiplies the positive energy's effects. Neo looks relaxed with my warm hand soothing her throat.

Neo: 'Is that it?'

(Y/N): Yep

Neo: 'Soooo.. what did you exactly do?'

(Y/N): I wanted to see if I could use my semblance to heal your vocal cords... could you try speaking?

Neo: O-okay...

Everyone sitting around us, including Neo, had their eyes widened in shock upon hearing Neo speak for the first time.

Neo: I... can talk again...

Yang: H-how did you do that...

(Y/N): Uh... well, basically, my semblance reinforces my aura by multiplying it together to enhance the effects of what aura can generally do...

Blake: That's a really versatile ability.

All: Agreed

Neo: T-thank you (Y/N)!!!

Neo pulls me into a tight hug and kisses me on the lips, causing me to melt into it while the other girls just look on in jealousy.

Yang: Hey, no fair! Why do you get to kiss him first!

Neo sticks her tongue out at Yang, which causes her to growl.

Yang: Well, I better get his second kiss
