It was 6:37 AM on Sunday the next morning, in the Fields household. The girls were in Emily's room, where they had barely slept all night, yet they weren't even remotely tired. In fact, they'd stayed at The Grille until 2 AM and left only when Hanna needed to go to the bathroom, since the ones at the restaurant were broken.

They arrived to Emily's house at 2:26 AM and went up to her room. They actually watched a movie this time, while eating three full boxes of chunky monkey. Emily loved the fact that Alison didn't even flinch when Hanna reached for the tub of ice cream.

It was a beautiful, fresh summer morning, and the girls were now getting ready to leave for their breakfast date with the guys.

They had set up the date at around 4 AM, when they decided to prank call the guys and Hanna pretended to be Michelle Obama, for some unknown reason. Caleb had picked up the phone tiredly and instantly recognized her voice. After calling out Hanna on her bluff, he asked her to put the phone on speaker and asked everyone if they wanted to go on a quadruple date with him and the guys. When the girls agreed, they planned out how to spend the whole day together: going to the Busy Bee Inn for breakfast, a picnic at the beach for lunch, and dinner at a fancy restaurant to close the day. It made for a pretty busy day, but since they really wanted to get to know these boys better before they were all whisked away to Paris, they thought it was the best solution. Besides, it was summer vacation -- anything was possible, and time was merely a concept. The guys had offered to pay for everything, and after the girls politely declined, they suggested to at least be the ones who made the food for the picnic.

The girls left Emily's house at around 7 AM, and walked over to the closest bus station that went in their designated direction. Unfortunately for Alison, there were actually enough seats available for all of them to sit, so she didn't end up sitting in Emily's lap this time around. Although, that didn't stop her from kissing the brunette the whole ride long, and earning an endless amount of eye-rolling and exaggerated, playful choking sounds from Spencer and occasionally Hanna.

They arrived at the Busy Bee Inn and met the guys at the table. The three of them stood up to greet them happily, not noticing the fact that the girls were running on no-sleep, since they still looked as amazing as the night before.

Alison jokingly pulled Emily's chair out for her and the brunette giggled, rolling her eyes playfully. "Thank you," she said fondly. Alison smiled as they sat down, the brunette grabbing her hand under the table and intertwining their fingers blissfully.

After they all made their orders, Toby turned curiously to Alison and Emily. "Wait, so how long have you two been dating?" he asked.

Alison took the liberty to answer. "Only a few days but," she looked up at Emily and smiled, "it's been amazing ever since. I mean, look at everything that has happened. It's just a sign that this was long time coming."

"Aww, you guys," Aria cooed with a sweet smile. Emily flashed her a grin just as Alison turned to kiss the brunette on the cheek.

Spencer turned to the guys, "What about you?"

"Oh, how long we've been dating?" Ezra jokingly answered, turning to an amused Caleb and grabbing his friend's hand, "well, sweetie, you want to tell them-"

"No," Spencer interrupted with a laugh, "how long have you all known each other?"

Caleb spoke up, "Since we were like, ten, actually. Right, Ezra?"

Ezra flashed his boyish smile, "Right. And we live together in Ravenswood."

"Really? How can you afford it?" Hanna asked in awe.

"Well, my dad got the apartment in his inheritance, so he owns it but he doesn't use it. And for all the utilities, the three of us work for a real estate agency after school, so we get paid pretty well," Toby answered.

"Which real estate agency?" Alison questioned, knowing her own parents were in the business.

"DiLaurentis Real Estate," Caleb answered obliviously. As he said this, the girls broke into a huge fit of laughter, throwing their heads back.

"What's so funny?" Ezra looked between them with an entertained expression.

"That's my mom's company," Alison said, breathless from the laughing, before taking a much-needed sip of water.

"Really?!" the three guys said in unison, purely astounded.

"Yeah. Maybe I'll talk her into giving you guys a raise," Alison remarked playfully.

"Yes, Ali, please do," Ezra said seriously and the whole table broke into laughter. "What? The karaoke club is paying for the trip, but I want to be able to buy Aria something nice," he pecked the short brunette on the cheek and she blushed furiously.

Their breakfast soon arrived and they ate it while learning more facts about each other. The girls learned that Caleb had stayed in a foster home until he was eleven years old and then moved in with Toby's family, since they were close friends at school. Meanwhile, the guys learned that the girls became best friends only in eighth grade, but they'd been inseparable ever since. They all finished eating rather quickly due to their impending hunger, and the waitress brought them their collective bill.

Emily reached for her wallet but Alison placed a hand on her thigh and stopped her. "It's okay, Em, I got it," she said reassuringly.

Emily looked at her in confusion. "What? No, Ali, you don't have to-"

"I know I don't have to, I want to. Come on, Em, let me pay for you," Alison teased. Emily looked at her speechlessly so she added, "It's a date, right? Shouldn't I be allowed to spoil my girlfriend?"

Emily looked at her helplessly, then surrendered. "Okay, fine, but next time, I'm paying for you."

Alison turned to kiss the top of Emily's shoulder, whispering, "It's a deal, mermaid."

Hanna smirked when she heard bits of the conversation then saw Emily's defeated face. She used her napkin to hit Emily's arm. "Whipped," Hanna declared as the others laughed in amusement.

Emily blushed before sinking into her chair slightly.

"Aww, look at that blush!" Spencer kidded and pointed to Emily's cheeks.

"Girls, stop, she's not whipped, I just like getting to spoil her. But do you know what I bet she really is?" Alison asked with a dangerous glint in her eyes while turning to Emily. Her lips slowly donned a seductive smirk, "Shy on the streets, sexy in the sheets."

Emily smiled shyly under the blonde's unrelenting attention and blushed even harder while Hanna and Spencer choked on their ice teas at the comment. The others laughed at Alison's comment, thinking she was kidding, but the treacherous look in her eyes and the cheeky smirk she wore proved them wrong.

"Oookay," Spencer averted everyone's attention back to a normal conversation. As she continued, they finally paid for the meals and the waitress took their bill. "We really need to start planning the tr-"

"Ali? I thought I saw you! Hey, guys!" Mona Vanderwaal suddenly appeared out of thin air and waved to the girls enthusiastically.

Alison rolled her eyes and turned to the group. "If you ignore it, it will go away," she said coldly.

Everyone seemed to shift uncomfortably in their seats.

Mona's smile faded and Emily looked at her in sympathy. Before Mona left in disappointment, Emily called out to her. "Hey Mona, come sit with us."

Emily had never quite understood why Alison hated Mona so much. The brunette had always found the glasses-wearing short girl to be nothing but nice. She once sat beside Mona in Earth Sciences class for a week before they were assigned seats and the smaller brunette was always pleasant to her. Emily had constantly wanted to ask Alison about it, or stand up to her when she embarrassed the poor girl, who obviously worshipped Alison's feet. The brunette just never had the confidence to do that until now.

Emily simply pointed out to herself in her mind that knowing that the most beautiful girl she had ever met was now her girlfriend, something she had never even remotely thought would happen, made her feel more confident with herself. It could easily make anyone feel more confident with themselves.

Mona smiled gratefully at Emily before taking a seat next to Hanna, who flashed her an encouraging grin. Alison turned to Emily and shook her head with a horrified look that mentally screamed 'what the hell?'

Emily gave her hand a squeeze and whispered in her ear, "Please try to be nice." Alison looked at her in confusion as if 'nice' wasn't in her vocabulary, so Emily added, "For me?" The blonde's expression softened at her girlfriend's request. She didn't answer the brunette, only huffed in frustration and turned back to the table.

The guys introduced themselves to Mona and as she giddily did the same. While they waited for the waitress to give them their change so they could leave a tip and head out, Spencer and Aria took the time to recount to Mona everything that had happened to them the previous night, and the short brunette commented positively in between.

Alison stayed bitterly silent until Mona turned to her. "So, you chose the song, Alison?" the short brunette asked. Alison raised her eyebrows, surprised that Mona had even dared to speak to her in the first place. "I love it, it's one of my favorites," Mona finished sheepishly, scared of the vicious blonde's rebuttal. Alison was about to comment something sarcastic topped with an eye roll like she always did when it came to Mona, but when she caught Emily in the corner of her eye watching her intently, she sighed in frustration.

She didn't want to disappoint her favorite person in the world, so she forced herself to give Mona a sweet smile, "Yeah, it's Emily's favorite too." She gave Emily's hand a squeeze under the table and the brunette smiled at her proudly. Mona was taken aback by the comment, like she had expected Alison to say something obnoxious to her, but then smiled at the blonde in admiration.

Alison had to admit, she didn't completely hate having Mona around. More so, meaning, who else would kiss her ass 24/7? Alison smirked to herself as she mused, 'Hmm... Maybe Emily can to that.' Her own naughty comment made her giggle.

Being completely honest with herself, Alison admitted in the back of her mind that maybe Mona wasn't as terrible of a company as she thought. That made the blonde wonder what made her act like such a bitch to the short brunette in the first place, trying to remember the first time Mona had ever gotten on her nerves. When she had trouble doing so, she figured maybe she could lay off with the insults for Mona and-

'Oh, God, why do I sound like Emily?' Alison thought in horror to herself as she glanced at her girlfriend. 'She is definitely changing me somehow, but I can't tell if I like it or not,' the blonde continued to question her own heart. She subconsciously caught herself smiling dreamily as she watched Emily laugh at something Toby had said.

"Whatever it is, I'm sure I'll like it," Alison accidently said out loud, earning everyone in the table's attention as they stared at her weirdly.

"What, Ali?" Emily asked her innocently.

"Nothing," Alison replied quickly and smiled, hoping everyone would buy her lame reaction, which they did. She slapped herself mentally. Idiot.

Finally, the waitress brought their change and they left a tip, standing up to leave. They all said goodbye to Mona, even Alison, who waved to her for a second before Mona exited, then she turned on her heel to face Emily. She pressed her finger lightly on her girlfriend's nose, "You so owe me, Fields."

Emily giggled and wrapped her arms around the blonde's waist. Alison dropped her finger and Emily nudged their noses together. "Whatever you want," she said before stepping and turning away from Alison to walk to the door. She turned her head around her shoulder again, "babe."
