Once she was finally out of the rope shadow had to find the exit. But before she could go she needed to figure out what to do about the men. They were curled up on the floor now with their hands crushing their ears, desperately trying to stop the unrelenting decibels and piercing noise that bounced in their ears. Shadow thought for a moment before an idea surfaced in her mind, it could go horribly wrong or work perfectly. Quickly she shut off the device and the men all gasped before passing out. With them taken care of a now undetected shadow began her journey to escape.

As she makes her way out she would stop ever so often and activate her amplifier to take down anyone she could. It was swift and simple work until the floor gave out beneath her. As she fell the shards and debris tore up her skin and she hit the floor with a deafening thud. Quickly she recovered and found she was surrounded by gunfire. As she ran to get to cover a bullet grazed her stomach and she had to keep herself from screaming. She dove for cover and looked to the now bleeding wound, but there wasn't anything she could do now. She needed a plan, and there was only one she knew would work.

Without wasting a second shadow cranked the amplifier and waited for the bullets to stop. It was only moments until there was silence and shadow peaked a bit to make sure. With the cost clear she turned the amplifier off and began to wander again. Shadow walked for some time before she heard some voices. She hid against the wall and listened to see if her amplifier was needed.

"Lisen delirious, when I looked all I found was a pile of empty ropes and a bunch of unconscious people!"

"Well a hostage can't just vanish cartoonz, they must have tried to move him before we got him"

"But that makes no sense. The dude must have escaped since there was a vacant pile of rope and knocked out people."

"Shut up with your logic ohm!"

Shadow almost giggled at there banter before there was more gunfire. She heard the people shout orders as they fought the ambush. She went to run but collapsed with a squeak, her injuries stopping her in her tracks. As she got the pain under control a thought occurred to her, those men were talking about a hostage somewhere in the building, they mentioned a pile of rope where the hostage was, that's when it hit her. She was the hostage! Shadow knew these people were here to save her, she had to help them. She couldn't just crank up the amplifier since it would hurt them too, there had to be a way. Then she remembered that it didn't have a terribly large range, that was the key.

Slowly shadow made her way to the enemy's, making sure she was not seen. She could hear the group of guys speak in panic, they must be getting overtaken. Shadow sped up a bit and finally made it over to where they were stationed. Her body was on fire from her still bleeding cuts but there was no time to waste. She got as close as she could before looking to her invention, remembering the small device.
