~Chapter 16~

"What's going on? Wh-where am I?"

Aelita got up from her bed and started rubbing her head.

"It's a long story, we'll explain later. How are you feeling? You alright?" Jeremy asked, holding her hand.

Aelita smiled, "I'm find Jeremy. Just a slight headache that's all."

Jeremy smiled back and pulled Aelita into a hug.

"We need to go before the nurse comes back. We'll check on you later! Bye!" Jenny waved and the rest of the gang followed her except Jeremy.

"Aren't you going to leave? Don't let-"

Aelita couldn't finish her sentence because well, let's say her words were sealed with a kiss.

"It's great to know that you're fine. Bye, see you later Aelita." Jeremy smiled and left the room.

Aelita couldn't even comprehend what happened just now. Her fingers unknowingly went to her lips, tracing the mark that Jeremy left lingering behind.

It wasn't their first time kissing of course, but this time it felt special.

"Jeremy there's something I need to tell you." Jenny stopped walking and looked at Jeremy.

"What is it?"

"Back at Lyoko, I saw a woman. Just for a mere second, I saw a woman."

"A woman? As in a grown woman?"

"Yes and the strange thing was, she has pink hair. Long pink hair."

"That's impossible. There's no way that there could be anyone in Lyoko. You must be hallucinating Aelita or something."

"No! I saw a woman with long pink hair and she didn't feel like Aelita, she felt like someone else."

"Someone else? There is no 'someone else' in Lyoko, i'm telling you that that's just your imagination."

Jenny folded her arms, "I know what I saw. It's not an imagination!"

Jeremy folded his arms back, "It is a imagination! Even if it's not, who could it be then huh? Your mom?"

"Hey! Watch your words idiot! Don't push me. Doesn't mean that you're all smart, you can say idiotic words like that. At least I wasn't the one that almost killed Aelita because I wanted to devirtualise everyone and leave the most fragile thing of Lyoko and Aelita's DNA to the hands of someone evil like, Oh I don't know, maybe XANA? I feel bad for Aelita liking a sore loser like you, you're not only an ugly nerd but a dumb one like that. Completely contradicting your own title: Einstein."

"What's wrong with saying 'your mom'? You have a mother right?!"

"Well- I do! At least I did..." Jenny mumbled the last few words that Jeremy didnt get to hear.

"What?! I can't even hear-You know what? You've been talking crap since everything started and I'm going to take a break from it, by LEAVING."

Now it was Jeremy's turn to storm off to somewhere else.

"I'm sick of yours too!" Jenny stormed off at the opposite direction.

The rest just sighed.

"I'm going to get Jenny." Odd said and jogged towards her.

"Jeremy?" Ulrich asked Yumi and she nodded immediately.

*30 minutes later*

Odd and Jenny both sat at the park bench in silent, with Jenny just staring into open space.

The wind blew gently, slightly touching their faces. Leaves moved slightly across the floor in sync with the wind.

"I can't believe he didn't believe me! I know what I saw!" Jenny sudden bursted out.

"Jenny, in his defence, it is true that you're the only one in Lyoko, there shouldn't be anyone else."

"I know... But, I saw someone. I know she isn't Aelita and she's definitely not my imagination. When I look at her, I felt a warm feeling that i've never felt in a long time..."

"I trust you." Odd said while placing his hand on Jenny's shoulder.

Jenny seemed a little shocked by Odd's words. She thought that Odd would stand by Jeremy's side, it was true that there shouldn't be anyone else in Lyoko and Jenny knew herself that whatever she said is a little wacky.

But she was too stubborn to admit that.

"Thanks Odd."

"Eh, no problem."

Jenny signed again.

"What's wrong?"

"It was my fault to make Jeremy so mad. I didn't mean to burst at him. It's just when he said the 'm' word, I got pissed."

"The 'm' word?"

New chapter, did it in like 40 minutes? Good job me! I'm proud.

Okay, short chapter shit and everything seems like it's going well. We're nearing the end of the first book btw,(there's gon' be a second book) around 3-5 more chapters and we're done! :D
