Hank went to the house and knocked on the door, an older woman answered the door, he held his badge up, "is Ezekiel Waters here?".

She looked horrified, "what's this about?"

The rest of the unit waited on the sidewalk, and watched as Hank spoke with the woman.

"Don't please don't!" Annie screamed as Zeke brought the pipe down on her side causing her to scream out in pain.

Erin heard it first, "Jay, did you hear that?" She was certain she heard someone yell.

"No" Jay said, "I didn't"

Annie tried to stand as she did she toppled over some boxes causing Zeke  to stumble backwards, she wasn't going to let him kill her, she grabbed at the door handle, and he smacked the pipe against the back of  her leg. Seeing stars "you'll never get away with this!"

Jay looked up, "I just heard it" he and Erin started moving towards the back of the property, he pointed "look, the shed"

Erin pulled the gun from her waistband, and followed behind Jay, as they got closer they could hear voices.  "That's Annie, he's got Annie in there" she whispered.

Zeke stood over Annie who lay crumpled on the floor, "wow, I haven't had to work this hard in a long time, none of the others had so much fight in them" he wiped the sweat from his brow with the back of his hand.

Annie scooted back from him, her leg had to be broken the pain was unbearable, her side screamed at her, "you may kill me but I will be the last person you ever hurt, my brother and father will make sure of it" she said through tears.

"Oh, please. Just stop---" he told her, the sound of the door being kicked in stopping him mid-sentence "who the hell are you?" He asked.

"Jay!" Annie yelled.

Jay grabbed Zeke and threw him to the ground, "you sick little bastard, you're under arrest"

Erin rushed to Annie, "are you okay?" Pushing the hair from her face, "it's okay, you're safe now" she tried to soothe her, Annie crying uncontrollably, "Jay we need an ambulance"

Adam sat on the floor in the corner of the living room, his knees pulled to his chest. "I couldn't save her, Kim" was all he would say, Bob and Amy sat on the couch neither one saying a word.

"Adam, I have tried calling Hank, he's not answering" she whispered, "Adam, look at me" she begged him, "For all we know Intelligence has already found her" she didn't know what else to say to him.

She went into the kitchen, and tried calling Erin, slapping the counter when it too went to voicemail, "Erin, it's Kim. Please call me as soon as you know something, Adam's a mess, please you have to find her" she put the phone in her pocket and went back into the living room.

Anthony was now watching, "Mommy, why is daddy sad?" He asked, confused as to why his father and grandfather both sat crying.

Adam heard his son's voice and looked in his direction, pulling the little boy closer to him, "I'm sorry Anthony"

"Ruzek, Kim!" Kevin called as he pounded the door, "open up, it's Kevin"

Adam stood up and raced to the door, "Atwater, did you find her?"

Kevin smiled, "we did, they're taking her to Chicago Med, Erin is with her"

"Dad, they found her!" Adam yelled, "we gotta go"

"Go, Ruzek, you too Kim. I came to stay with the kids, go" he ushered them out the door.

Adam turned his blue light on as they raced to the hospital, just as the ambulance pulled up in the bay, Adam and Bob waiting at the back of the ambulance.

Annie had finally stopped crying, "does my dad know I'm okay?" She asked still clutching Erin's hand.

"Yes, Kevin went to tell them." Erin was in awe of how brave she had been, how she kept her head about her, "you're brave, you know that?"

The driver came around and opened the doors of the ambulance, Erin jumped down first, "she's okay, Adam."

"Thank you" he told her as he watched his father embrace Annie, "is Waters in custody?"

"Jay took him to the 21st, I'm sure he's in the cage right now" Erin said as she watched the tearful reunion between father and daughter.

Sean went and sat on the beach, his phone in his hand he knew he needed to call Kara he felt like shit for having worried her.

Kara ran for the phone, "Hello?" Relieved when he started speaking, "Sean, where are you?"

He sighed, "at my parents house, in New Jersey" he told her, "I'm sorry"

Kara sat on the couch, "I've been going out of my mind, I didn't know what to think" she was no longer scared, she was furious with him "damn it Sean!"

He hung his head, he knew he deserved the tongue lashing she was giving him, "I'm leaving here first thing in the morning, and I will explain everything. I promise"

He could hear her start to cry, "baby, I'm okay. I'm coming home, I will make it up to you I promise"

"I love you Sean" Kara told him

"I love you too. I gotta go, I will see you tomorrow, okay?"

"Count on it, drive safely"

Adam paced outside the exam room, Bob and Amy had gone inside with her, "Adam, come sit" Kim grabbed his hand, "Adam, come on"

He lingered at the door, "I can't believe it" he whispered, "I thought he killed her, I thought he killed her" he finally sat down beside her, "oh my god Trey"

"What about him?" Kim asked.

"He didn't do it, Annie got the son of a bitch to confess. He framed Trey, I need to tell Hank" Adam stood and went in search of Erin.
