In the afternoon

Ran, Kazuha, Shinichi, Heiji, Conan and Kogoro are now at a Italian restaurant eating lunch together. After both high school detectives woke up, the girls force them to change so they can eat lunch. Conan ask Haibara if she want to come but she declined because she want to read the books that she borrowed

"Ahh the pasta sure is tasty!" said Kogoro happily finish his meal
"Sure it is, I'm surprised you know about this restaurant Kudou-kun" said Kazuha to Shinichi who suggest to eat here
"Ahh, Megure-keibu and I been here once for murder case and I happen to try the pasta from the owner and can't help myself to like it" said Shinichi laughing
"Hahaha you are great Kudou-kun" praise Kazuha which accidentally make two people jealous

Conan who notice just laugh at it since he's not the best person to tell. Conan then take Shinichi's ice coffee and drink it without him realizing it

"So, what about the case that you text me about?" asked Conan to Heiji
"Eh case?" asked Kogoro who heard it
"Eh no no, it's not really a case but... Kazuha and I want to invite all of you to visit Osaka again but there's a problem" said Heiji while glaring at Kazuha

Conan seems not interested so he excuse himself to go to toilet and Shinichi coming with him but he let Heiji talk to Ran and Kogoro since he's okay with going too

At the toilet

"Here I thought the case means really a case" said Conan unhappy while wiping his hands
"Hahaha maybe next time, you already did get a case just yesterday" said Shinichi while washing his hands
"Yeah but it's coincidence we got it"

"Then how about you join me on one case I have been following for the past week?" asked Shinichi while bend down to Conan's size
"What case?"

Shinichi told him the case which make Conan surprised but then he smiles and shake hands with his brother

"Hm! Okay then, I will join" said Conan smiling
"Good, we will begin after Hattori left Tokyo so that he don't force himself to stay longer. I don't want to give excuses to his parents again"
"Hahahaha okay then"

When the two brothers get out from the toilet, they see that both Heiji and Kazuha are fighting and Ran trying her best to calm both of them down. Suddenly Kazuha notice the brothers and quickly stand up and hold both Shinichi and Conan's hand

"Kudou-kun and Conan-kun on my team!" shout Kazuha happily
"Oi not fair!" shout Heiji angrily

"Uuhh... what is going on?" asked Shinichi to Ran and Kogoro
"Well.." said Ran can only laugh by the situation

Ran told everything about what Heiji and Kazuha fighting for and of course the two brothers only slap their heads due to the issue for their fighting

"So in other words, we will have a deduction battle on should go to Takarazuka or Koshien?" said Conan folded his arms
"Yes..." said Kazuha who's sitting beside Conan
"There's happen to be a case that Megure-keibu ask me to help, he also said that he wants to ask you too detective brat but he said that you were too busy with something" said Kogoro to Shinichi
"Eh? what case?"
"Last month there was a murder case at the office on some company and the office happens to be in the same area, I also about to drop by there after this"
"AHH that case, Megure-keibu did told me about it but I have an exams so I can't do it that time" said Shinichi remembers

"Now, I don't really like the idea of using a murder case as a bet but it seems the criminal hasn't caught yet..." said Kogoro to the Kansai high schoolers

"But since it's help to find the culprit so I'm sure it's fine" said Shinichi while thinking and about to drink but he notice that his ice coffee was already out

"With that said it is official, Kogoro-san, Ran-chan, Kudou-kun and Conan-kun on my team" said Kazuha happily
"Oi not fair getting all the people to yourself!" said Heiji unhappy

Ran look to Shinichi and Conan for help but it seems those two are glaring to each other due to Conan steal his ice coffee. Ran can only sigh seeing it but then the brothers look at Kogoro in confused

"But I'm surprised Mouri-ojiisan helping Kazuha-chan, I thought you like baseball?" asked Shinichi
"Ahh well... hehehe"

"Ahh he want to see the beautiful Takarazuka ladies" thought Shinichi and Conan together

"Hoi at least lend me the brat in glasses and we have a deal" said Heiji staring at Conan
"Ehh no way, you two are partners in murder cases" said Kazuha pouting

Conan just sigh since he's not really interested. He then hold Shinichi's shirt and make telepathy with him. Shinichi only pat his head and smile

"How about this, Conan and I actually are okay with both places so let me and Conan be the middle men for this case" said Shinichi to both Kansai
"Hah? But what if you two solve the case first?" asked Kazuha seems not agreeing
"Then we just stayed quiet until one of you solved it. Of course we will happily help both party by hint not by solving"
"I'm fine with Shinichi but Conan-kun too?" asked Ran seems surprised
"I don't mind too and I actually I want to read this book. I will still hear the case" said Conan while showing the Detective Samonji limited edition book that Shinichi bought for him yesterday

Ran, Kogoro and Kazuha look at the boy amused by his decision leaving Heiji in irritated state since he will be solving this alone

Time Skip~

At the crime scene

All of them already got permission from Inspector Megure for looking at the crime scene and find clues. Inspector Megure was surprised seeing Shinichi with them

"Kudou-kun? I thought you were focusing on-"
"Sshh! Stay quiet Megure-keibu, none of them know except Conan" said Shinichi while putting his finger on his lips
"Ahahaha I forgot, but why suddenly interested in this case?"
"Ahh... Hattori seems interested and it's been a month old so we should solve it faster right"
"You're right"

Conan goes closer to Shinichi and Inspector Megure talking about the case that Shinichi told him at the restaurant toilet.

"So about that case... what do you think?" asked Inspector Megure
"To be honest it's still dark since I search whole files at the police headquarters and still can't find resemblance"
"Nee, I think we should focus on this case first before go to that, Inspector Megure and Baka detective geek" said Conan smirking at his brother
"Oi oi..." said Shinichi bend down to Conan's size
"Hahaha Conan-kun got a point there, so let me tell you about this case"

Inspector Megure tells everything from the picture of the body and about the dices clues that the victim left behind. Conan quickly wrote it down on his detective notes and he took Shinichi far from the others

"Oi Conan you solve the dices?" asked Shinichi to his brother
"You could say that" said Conan while showing his notes to Shinichi

Shinichi look at it and smile by his brother since his brother just figured out the case easily, maybe too easy. Conan ask Shinichi to conduct more search because he feel something is not right in this case. Conan notice that Heiji is looking at them together and also Ran who's been staring at the brothers

Conan then sit on the boxes and open his book to read it, Shinichi on the other hand look around for clues at the room since he already got the answer from Conan himself. Suddenly someone pull him which to be Ran

"Shinichi, you figured it out right? The dices?" asked Ran quietly
"Ahh not me but Conan did, but we're not sure about it so he ask me to search more of this place" said Shinichi while pointing the table
"Can you give me a hint please"

Ran was begging to Shinichi which make Shinichi blushes. Conan who sees it amused and giggle by the scene. Suddenly someone comes in front of Conan and slam his hand right into the wall behind Conan which to be Heiji

"Oi Kudou, you figured it out right the dices?" asked Heiji serious
"Ahhh but I'm not sure about it so I ask that baka detective geek to search for more clues. Because the I feel there's more into this case" said Conan to Heiji
"Why?"
"Just solve the dice and then look at the room Hattori" said Conan who's back reading his book

Shinichi already look around and then he saw the calendar which to be off, suddenly the suspects comes in and got angry with Inspector Megure who still doubt their innocence. Conan close his book and goes beside the video camera that was put on the floor.

The suspects then move right beside the calendar and Conan seems to notice something, he quickly go to Shinichi and whisper him something. Ran, Kazuha and Heiji look at the brothers seems they are almost completing the case

"Ran-chan... after this make sure to grab both of them" said Kazuha serious while writing in her notes
"Um..."

"That Kudou brothers... really get into my nerves" thought Heiji looking at the partners

Shinichi also whisper to Conan something which they agreed on something

"Say, the one who writes on the daily schedules is the president himself?" asked Shinichi to the suspects
"Ah yes, in fact the president had finally been able to schedule next Sunday for us all to play golf together" said one of the suspects while looking at the calendar

"I see..." thought both Shinichi and Conan together

"Well then let us do some little searching, please continue the questioning" said Shinichi to the other room with Conan beside him

As they got in, both Ran and Kazuha rant to Kogoro

"Dad! Both of them already solve the case, they are now searching for evidence" said Ran angry
"Eh really?" asked Kogoro surprised

The two brothers came out from the room and then pull Takagi's hand to outside of the room. They are now sure that both of them already solve the case

Outside the room

"EHH?!" shout Takagi surprised
"Sshh! You are too loud" said Shinichi unhappy with Takagi's reaction
"But... you should tell Megure-keibu about this"
"We can't, we have to let either Kazuha-neechan or Heiji-niichan solve it so please make sure the person we talk about doesn't go anywhere" said Conan
"Ahh okay okay..."

Takagi, Shinichi and Conan goes inside the room again but this time the brothers sit on the boxes and talk about something else

"Hoi detective brat, is it time for you tell us the hint?" asked Kogoro unhappy
"Eh ahh... it's really simple" said Shinichi while looking at Conan
"See the dices properly from the other side and the dates are important" said Conan smiling innocently

"See the dices properly from the other side..." The dates are important?" said both Heiji and Kazuha together who heard it

Kazuha seems to grasp what Conan means and start playing with her notes

Inspector Megure goes to the brothers and ask about the meaning. Conan just childishly said to wait and see, Shinichi told Inspector that leave this case to the Kansai high schoolers which make Inspector Megure unhappy since now he's sure that the brothers know the culprit

"Second hint... after solve the dices, make sure to look everything" said Shinichi smiling

Heiji start to understand and start looking toward the table properly. Conan smiles since he already have a hunch on who's the winner. The brothers look at each other smiling

"Last hint" said Shinichi closing his eyes

His words grab everyone's attention especially the two Kansai friends. Ran and Kogoro look at each other confused by the brothers attitude

"This book" said both Shinichi and Conan while holding the Detective Samonji book together

"The Last Will and Testament Prepared by the Devil" said Heiji while reading the book

After reading it, Heiji look at the calendar and rush to the room where Shinichi and Conan search for something. Kazuha on the other hand almost solving the dices, moments later Kazuha manage to solve the dices and claim the culprit from the dying message.

But Inspector Megure said that the culprit from the dying message have a valid alibi which make him can't do the crime and thus Heiji comes out the door and told everyone the truth about the dying message is true but it's a purpose by the culprit on which he name the real culprit by the evidence on the room

After that it's official the case is close and Heiji is crowned the winner of the deduction show

On their way home

"Haah... I told you that he will won this bet" said Kazuha to Ran
"Ahahaha... but I'm surprised Shinichi and Conan-kun found out very quick" said Ran to the brothers
"Ahh... Conan figures out the dying message when he arrange the dices on his notes. I check around the room and found something odd by the arrangement on the table so we look for more clues" said Shinichi while looking at Conan
"After seeing that calendar and the fact that the president always tear the calendar by himself make us sure that the culprit purposely do it like that" said Conan looking at Ran and Kazuha

"But still, you two deduct all of that in short time, I feel like losing myself" said Heiji unhappy with the result
"Well this time because I work together with Conan. When you two work together, you two got the truth before me right?" asked Shinichi to his Kansai friend
"Well yeah but that's just one-two time"

All of them laugh by Heiji's attitude and can't help to wait for their invitation to go to Koshien together
