Next day~

KAI POV

"Make sure you have your things with you, baby" I remind Kyungsoo and turn around to my butlers.

"Take all of these bags to the airport" I hand them the bags, "Thank you guys, see you there"

"Yes, Vice Chairman Kim"

"That sounds so damn awkward" I giggle, "Call me Kai, will you?"

They look at each other before passing me a rather weirded out look. One by one, they start to shake their heads. What? I am not a prince, I'm just a son who's blessed to be in this fortunate family. That doesnt make me any different than them.

"Oh come on, you'll be working with me for a long time! You'll be tired to call me that. Lets be comfortable with each other"

These butlers also act like some bodyguards at times. They assist us to meetings and drive us to important events.

"Nae, Kai" One of them speaks up, "Thank you. Lets be comfortable with each other"

"That's nice, hyung. I'll meet you at the airport. You may go now"

"Drive safely, Kai!" All of them said and now I feel much better!

"Thank you, you too hyung!"

I walk back into the house to collect my husband, he can be real slow sometimes. I call out for him and within seconds, he is already skipping down the stairs with Candice in his arms.

"Hey, Candice. You look like you're in a good mood" I pet the cat's head and she purrs rather loudly.

"She said she's sad that she cant come with us" Kyungsoo who is a part time cat translator coos at the cat, giving kisses on top of her head.

"Dont worry, baby. Won ahjumma is a great pet caretaker"

At the airport~

We step out of the car and one of the butlers waiting for us takes over my seat. He will drive the car home for me. Kyungsoo has already charged for Won ahjumma who is waiting at the side.

"Candice! You look so pretty!" Won Ahjumma claims, excited to see the cat in her cage.

Kyungsoo passes the cage over to her and I join them in a small circle.

"I promise she'll look even more fat than now once you're home in Korea" Won Ahjumma pats Kyungsoo's shoulder as he is looking a little somber.

"Thank you" Kyungsoo brightens up a little and a butler gives a sign that it is almost time to board the plane.

Our parents are out station for a quick meet up with their friends so they couldnt be here to send us off.

"I think we'll have to go now"

Kyungsoo nods, holding tight on his small bag, "Come on"

The butlers follow us from behind with our two luggages. We stop right in front of the boarding gate and I step closer to the butlers with a smile.

"We'll go now. Kangjun please take a look on my parents and Dae San will take a look on Kyungsoo's parents. Report to us right away if something happens, okay?" I said, in all seriousness because our parents can be a lot.

It worries me whenever I go far away.

"Dont worry about that, Kai" Kangjun chuckles, "They will be fine. We'll make sure of it"

"Yeah, just have fun with your honeymoon! We'll be waiting for your safe return"

"Thank you guys, I'll go now"

We bow to each other and I turn to my Kyungsoo, who's clutching onto our two luggages.

"Lets go, baby" He said cutely.

In the airplane~

It has been 5 minutes since we boarded the plane. Dad got us the private couple seat so we are cozily tucked into the seats. Kyungsoo's hand is shaking from the moment the stewardess start to give instructions on safety precautions.

I hold his hand tighter but careful not to the extent of hurting him, "Baby stop shaking, I'm here"

"I still cant believe that I'm about to fly"

"I promise you it will be fine"

"No, I feel like falling" He whines like a kid and it just makes me feel bad. He's so cute that it hurts.

"Do you want to sit on me? I can hug you"

"No, dont" He shakes his head, "The stewardess said you cant unbuckle your seatbelt during take off"

"But you're scared"

He giggles and I can feel his grip on my hands loosen up, "It's okay. You are right. You're here with me. It will be fine"

And that is that.

The take off is smooth, thanks to the pilot but Kyungsoo's face literally turns pale from the moment the airplane starts to speed up. He repeatedly tells himself that he is okay, and that I'm here but the cold sweats on his forehead aint lying.

"Almost there baby" I try so hard not to laugh out loud and also to respect that the fear is real.

Once the airplane takes off and is balanced in the sky, Kyungsoo lets out the loudest sigh I ever hear since we got married. He slumps into his seat and leans in closer to my side.

"Are you okay?" I wipe his sweat off with a tissue and he nods his head weakly. He's probably tired from fighting his fear.

"Yeah I'm fine. That wasnt so bad" He bluffs and even laughs a little at his own joke, "Nope. Not bad at all. I can do a thousand take offs"

"You are such a bad liar"

Arrives in Malibu~

My head is spinning from the jet lag as the flight took so long! We just spent the time sleeping, watching movies together, eating and talking. I am being careful not to fall on my face and trying to keep my feet on the ground as I feel so damn tired, but Kyungsoo is literally skipping and twirling as he makes his way to the gate.

"This is so exciting!" Kyungsoo turns back at me and waits for me to catch up with him, "You look like you're about to die"

"You are right"

"Oh come on! We're in Malibu! Cheer up, it is just a damn jet lag"

I cant even say a thing because I am just too amazed that he is immune to jet lag, apparently. Which is very good for traveling. I am about to fall over and puke on the floor. I need to sleep.

"I am just glad you're happy" I mumble and we are finally in the arrival gate area where people welcome the guests.

I look around and see three people in casual summer clothes wave at us. They are Korean, or at least look like Korean.

"Annyeonghaseyo" All three of them bow at us, "We have prepared a car for you to drive to your resort as requested by Chairman Kim"

"Thank you guys, are you coming with us?"

"We'll be returning to our rooms but it is very near with your chalet" One of them answers, "You may call us if you need anything"

"We dont want to disturb you two" The younger looking man chuckles, "We hope you have a great time here"

"Sure, I'm sorry I have not properly introduce myself. I'm Kai. I am this cute man's husband, he is Kyungsoo. You may just call us by names I guess" I said and Kyungsoo looks at me upon hearing the cute word.

"May us?"

Kyungsoo nods his head with a smile, "Of course! How else would you address us? Vice Chairman Kim and his husband?". I laugh at his remark and the other three look flustered by it.

"No, absolutely not, Mr Kim!" They shake his heads

"Okay we should be going now. I cant wait to see our place!"

"Nae, we agree" They said, "We'll guide you there, Kai. You can follow our car"

All of us walk out to the parking lot and they hand me a pair of keys for the car.

At the resort~

After parking the car and parting ways with the three guys, we head for our private chalet. It is located few meters away from the hotel and other suites for privacy.

"Kai, it's beautiful" Kyungsoo's eyes are busy looking around. The breeze that come from the near sea, sounds of leaves, and the smell of fresh air hit differently in Malibu.

"It is, right?" I said, stopping right in front of our chalet. It is completely surrounded by a garden, the trees grew high enough to separate the space between each chalet.

Nobody from outside can see what's going on in the chalet. There is also a small pond inside the garden, adding more peace and sense of calmness. I put my luggage down and pull his luggage away from him.

"Close your eyes" I said, "I'll take you inside"

"Take me? I can just walk in with you, dont be ridiculous"

"Ugh you have never watch Twilight's Breaking Dawn and it shows" I roll my eyes but step closer to him, "I have been waiting to do this on my honeymoon"

I scoop him up bridal style in my arms and he lets out a yelp, only then realising that he sounded more feminine that he likes, and giggling afterwards.

"Put me down!"

"No, close your eyes. Or this wont be a surprise"

Kyungsoo POV

I do as told, and my cheeks are definitely flushed red right now. My heart is thumping. It feels like it will jump out of my heart and go run a marathon. I can feel him moving through the front part and the door creaks open.

"This is totally unnecessary" I break the silence and he hushes me up.

"Shut up"

I chuckle and he stops at a spot, "We're here. Look at our room!"

I blink my eyes open, quickly adjusting to the sudden light. The place is exactly like the room that Edward and Bella had during their honeymoon in the movie.

"This is so beautiful?!" I claim, spinning across the room and dashing into the big bathroom. Look at all this space!

There is a big door in front of the bed and we can clearly see the beach from here. Yow, if we ever decides to have sex, and we forget to close these doors...... the people outside is definitely going to be traumatized for life.

"You're so adorable" He comes up to me and steals a quick kiss, which annoys me because I love it when he kisses me properly.

I never say no to kisses. As far as I remember.

"What did I say about stealing kisses?"

He laughs, "And I notice that the hickeys are fading"

"That's good news"

"What do you mean" He frowns, "We should do new ones. I want some too!"

I smirk and start to trail my fingers on his chest, drawing meaningless circles and other shapes. He doesnt break the eye contact and instead, he makes the sexual tension even tighter when he rests his hands on my butt, kneading the meaty bums.

"You really mean that?" I ask, almost whispering.

"By all means" His smile is literally killing me at this moment, "Please mark me"

I wanna say something but I accidentally yawn, a long one too.

"Baby you should get some rest. I know you're tired" He reaches for my hand and drags me to the bed, patting the sheet.

"No, we should continue—"

"No buts, my love" He cuts me off gently, "Or else, you wont have the least energy for tonight. That would kill me even more. It's okay, get some sleep"

"I'm sorry" I look down, scratching the empty clean sheet, "I did it again, didnt I?"

"Did what, baby?" He sits next to me, "I promise you it is okay, and I understand. We could really use some rest. Why push yourself so hard?"

I carve a smile to brighten up, "You're right. Will you at least stay next to me?"

"Why, of course! Come" He lays down and guides me to rest my head on his chest.

It is firm but soft at the same time, and it feels safe. He makes me feel safe and belong. He is my home. Definitely mine.

KAI POV

I was watching You 2 on Netflix when Kyungsoo's phone flashes a message that he received from someone. Because the phone is near me on the nightstand, my head originally turns to see it. I doesnt mean to read the message but something catches my eyes.

1 new message from Chanyeol
Where are you? I couldnt find you anywhere.

Why is this man still tailing him around? I roll my eyes, biting my lips to calm myself down and reason it out. Of course, they are friends after all. Chanyeol has a reason to wonder of Kyungsoo's whereabouts.

I snap out of my thoughts when I notice Kyungsoo's breathing gets a lot heavier. Visible creases form on his forehead and he grunts lowly, twisting and turning in his sleep.

"Baby?" I call out, patting his cheeks softly so he will wake up. He looks like he is having a nightmare.

"No" He lowly whimpers, "Dont hurt Kai"

My heart nearly stops when he mentioned my name. Is he having a bad dream about me? Who hurt me? In front of Kyungsoo? How dare that person?

"Hey, wake up. Baby please wake up"

He inhales sharply and his eyes squint open, quickly finding its way to mine and he hugs me tighter. He snuggles closely into the crooks of my neck and I can feel his body shaking.

"Did you have a bad dream?"

He nods.

"Do you want to talk about it? I'm worried about you"

He shakes his head.

I let out a soft sigh, "Okay baby, just let me know if you're ready to talk about it. I'll listen. Poor you. I think you're just too tired"

KYUNGSOO POV

I try to calm myself down as I rest my body completely on his. I just have to know that he is really here and nobody is hurting him. He is here with me and he is happy.

What I saw in my dream is a bad nightmare. I would never want to see it in real life. That person was torturing Kai, right before my eyes and I feel like shit for not being able to save him. I failed to protect him when he needed me.

I have to do something. I have to protect Kai. We promise each other happiness and I cant lose him to someone else before anything even starts.

In the evening~

We were still jet lagged so we ordered food to be sent to the chalet. We filmed ourselves a silly mukbang, mainly because Kai is messy and I am an awkward potato in front of a camera.

We play some board games and wait for the jet lag to fade as much as possible. The sun sets, and we get to see the majestic scenery from our bedroom. The hue is beautiful, a combination of violet, blue, orange, red and yellow.

"We should go for a swim" Kai suggests and I look over at him.

"You serious? Are you okay now?"

He quickly nods, "Yeah I think I'm fine. How about you? Come on, it will be fun!"

"Sure, lets go change"

He gets off the bed and literally runs to his luggage, scrambling through it to find his swimming trunks.

"You're wearing something, right?" I tease while looking for my own swim wear.

"I can go naked if you want"

"There are other people outside. I dont want them to see you and get blinded unwillingly"

"Are you sure, unwillingly?" He chuckles, "Instead, I think most of the people I know are willing to pay to see this"

"Ew Kai"

"Just saying" He raises both of his shoulder as a motion of 'idk' but with a proud smile on his face. He is really confident with his body and that's not wrong.

If you work hard to get a nice body, you deserve to flaunt it as much as you want. If you dont like the idea of it, then it is simple. Dont even look at them and mind your own business.

You being annoyed should never bother them. If they are bothered, it's on you. They dont spend a cent of your money nor take a second of your time.

We change into our trunks together and he decides to go shirtless, while I have my rash guard on. I am not as comfortable to go shirtless because I am not quite used to it anymore. My body is not in shape to be showing it to people.

"I have your towel with me" Kai said and takes a small bag with him so we can put our belongings in it.

"Thank you" I smile, "Arent you going to catch a cold?"

"No, and why are you blushing"

"No I'm not. You're so full of yourself"

He laughs, "I know I look good, just stop it. And you look so cute in a rash guard. You actually do have a nice slender figure"

"This conversation ends here" I hold onto his arm and drag him with me to the door, "Lets go"

"No actually, you look sexy in it"

I look at him from head to toe, he is being ridiculous, "I mean, look at you! What are you so sexy for? There will be women and men around—"

"What are you so scared for, Soo?" He beams a smile and GAHHHH I'M DEAD, "I have my eyes on you and nothing will change that"

We walk to the pool hand in hand and it honestly feel so liberating. I might feel awkward to be doing this in Korea and I dont blame the country for it. I respect whoever who doesnt support the relationship but I am definitely not one of them.

They may feel whatever they want to feel but just remember that Kaisoo spelt backwards is Oosiak and it makes absolutely no sense just like their opinions. Some other tourists say hi to us on our way to the pool and the feeling of being welcomed is so nice, it makes me want to tear up.

"They are so cool with us" I said quietly next to Kai as we wave to another couple who waved at us by the pool.

"It makes me want to move here"

I chuckle, "But we cant"

"Of course we can" He snorts, "Just not now, we have a lot to take care of back at home. When we are grown up, we can move"

We arrive at the pool and Kai places his bag at a secured spot near the pool. I dip my feet in the pool and it is surprisingly warm, not too cold or hot. It perfectly matches the weather of the night.

"I'm not so good with water" I said while carefully stepping down the stairs in the water.

"You're scared of heights, and water" He holds my hand and guides me deeper into the water, soaking our upper body completely, "That's cute"

"No, that aint cute" I chuckle, "I'm just annoying and you're trying to be nice to me"

"Of course I have to be nice to you! You're my husband"

"But do you have to lie to me like that?"

He rolls his eyes, "I never lie to you... well, without purpose, no"

"That's shady, you just admitted you have lied to me for something" I tap his nose, "But really, I'm not good at anything"

"You're literally turning a blind eye at yourself" He places his hand on my back and pushes me closer to him, "You're so perfect. You captured my heart just like that, isnt that your specialty? Not many knows how"

"Sorry Mr Kim, I shake nearly hundreds of people's hearts before. Not only you" I place my hand on his chest, looking away sassily to play the part.

" Really? What a bad boy you are.. And a bad boy, must be punished " He whispers in my ear

That sends shiver down my spine and the coldness makes me love it more. The feeling of thrill leaves me wanting more. Just the excitement alone can drive me crazy, imagine if Kai would really give it to me. Imagine that.

"Punish me" I attach myself to him, our chests touching and he leans down to trail kisses on my neck.

My fucking legs are shaking under water. I dont even care if it's in public or what, what's important here is we are really enjoying each other's presence and staying real. We are not shy to admit to the sexual tension between us.
