"Alright miss L/N. We're discharging you from the hospital but I must express the need for you to be careful."
Nodding silently in response, you just sat on the hospital bed in thought, dreading what you had to bring up. "So um... the bill-" You started but the doctor put his hand up to stop you.
"It is already paid. Apparently the kid you were in the accident with – his family sued the driver and made him pay your hospital bill as well." The doctor smiled and handed crutches to you. "Try to move your back as little as possible, especially when sitting down and getting up." His smile turned encouraging as he urged you to try it out and you leaned on your crutches as you got up, the tight bandaging around your stomach and back helping you not move by restricting your movement by a lot. Although moving still hurt like a bitch, you managed to get up on your own. "Alright, all seems good. Stay out of any car crashes now, alright kid?"
The doctor waved at you before walking out your room, leaving you alone to move at your own pace and go home.

You had spent two days in the hospital, taking another four at home without moving around too much. While you were away, your mom had managed but you could tell she was unbelievably worried about you.
"Mom, I'll be alright." You smiled as you picked up the dish in front of you to try and get it to the kitchen.
"Y/N, stop doing so much around the house." She immediately scolded you, swatting at you slightly to try and stop you which made you chuckle. For the first time in a while, she was out of bed. Her health seemed to be on the up and up and to see her fuss over you again like this pulled at your heartstrings. But in a good way.
Hobbling by taking baby steps, you put your dish in the kitchen before grabbing your school bag with books. It awkwardly dangled in front of you as you leaned on your crutches, standing in front of your mom.
"I still think you should stay home for another day or two. Or at least a week."
"..."
"...Maybe two?" Your mom tried again while giving you pleading eyes. You couldn't hold it in and laughed, shaking your head before smiling at her.
"See you after school!"
"Alright, stay safe and be careful! And if you see that Jotaro, tell him thanks from me!" She softly called out after you as you moved out of the door, pulling it closed with a small smile before starting your walk to school.
You had left about fifteen to twenty minutes earlier than usual, knowing that the walk would take a lot longer with crutches. Hell, your arms were going to get tired.

By the time you finally reached the school grounds, you were more than done with the sounds the crutches made. Just the constant 'click, click, click, click, click' when you put them on the ground got on your nerves after thirty-five minutes of it. Not to mention how sore your arms were. Safe to say, walking to school with crutches made you a lot more slow than usual.
As you walked onto the premises, you felt an anxiousness building inside you. What would happen when you saw Jotaro again? What would he think? You basically dragged him into your problems and got him into a car crash. Sure he helped you but your dad pretty much threatened him so it was only logical for him to retaliate.
The question was: did he hate you now and did you lose the only friend you somewhat made in this school?
The answer to that question came quicker than you would've liked or were ready for.
You were hobbling towards the entrance of the school, people at least being considerate enough to step aside and let you through. You sent a small smile to those people as you went along. Your waist was still basically constricted in bandages to keep yourself from moving and protect your wound, so walking with the crutches really was bothersome. But you had accepted it by now and just moved on.
Screeching behind you halted you in your steps and you moved your body so that you could look behind you. Jotaro had come to school and was now swarmed by girls throwing themselves at his feet. You know, the usual.
You stood still and waited as he approached, holding your breath in anticipation. Once he came close enough, he spotted you and gave you a once over before crossing eyes with you. You opened your mouth to say something, only for him to break eye contact almost immediately and walk past you as if he never met or talked to you.
Staring at his back as he walked away, you closed your mouth and dejectedly exhaled through your nose. Somehow you had been anticipating that this would happen and you didn't blame him. You nearly got him killed so of course he hated you now. But it still hurt. A lot.
Walking into class, he was already sitting with his feet up on his desk and you walked to your seat in front of him, not really looking at him since you didn't want to piss him off. You felt like you had to say something though cause hell, he saved your life. So you turned a quarter on your chair and glanced at him sideways.
"Um, I want to say thank you for-"
"Shut up, bitch. You're annoying."
You were taken aback by his immediate response before your lips tightened into a thin line. Grabbing one of your crutches, you slammed it into his legs that were practically in your neck given how he was sitting, the force of it pushing them off the desk and throwing the delinquent off balance for a second.
His eyes widened in shock before he caught himself and sent a murderous glare at you. Several gasps could be heard coming from the girls in the class who had been staring at him and noticed the scene. For once, you weren't bothered the slightest bit however.
"Oh eXcUuSe mE for trying to thank you, you dickhead! Some people are just trying to be nice, you know?!"
With that, you promptly shuffled yourself back forward again, not bothering to give him another glance or see his reaction. If he wanted to punch you, you were sure your Stand would be fast enough to protect you and if he wouldn't punch you, then good! Besides, you were fuming and barely took a second to think about the repercussions to your actions.
The punch never came though.
And that was the last thing you said to Jotaro Kujo for an entire month.

Finally, after five weeks since the accident, your wound had healed and you were scheduled to start working at the aquarium again! Your mom was on the up, seemingly finally fighting the sickness off completely. She was back to working fulltime and always came home exhausted, making it so that you still had to do the majority of the chores at home. But you didn't mind because all in all, life was looking up.
Your life had continued as normal after the car crash, the only difference being you now had a snazzy scar on your lower back and the fact that you'd never have to worry about your dad again – given that he was in jail. The weight that lifted from your shoulders when you received the news was unprecedented. Knowing he would never again suddenly show up on your doorstep was a great feeling.
A less great feeling was the boring class you were in right now. The day had only just begun and you were still half asleep when all of a sudden, the entire building shook as an explosion went off. Screams went around while you yourself shot up in alert, hearing several windows in other classrooms shattering while the teacher tried to shush the rising panic as to what the hell just happened.
After about fifteen minutes of confusion and curious students trying to figure out what was going on, an announcement was made that something went wrong in the nurses office and everyone in school would get the day off until further notice.
Students were packing up and you did the same, only to be stopped by the teacher calling your name.
"Yes?" You walked up to her desk while all the others walked out of the class, leaving you and the teacher alone in the room.
She rummaged through her desk before handing you some papers. "I need you to deliver these to Kujo. This is the assignment I explained three days ago and since he hasn't come to school the last four days, I need to get it to him in other ways."
Your mouth fell open in shock. She wanted you to do what now? "W-what? Why not just wait for him to come to school again? Why me?"
"Because this paper is 50% of the grade and it is important, I thought you were paying attention when I explained it, Y/N! And, I'm asking you because you are the only one who I've partnered up with Kujo who actually made him do his work." The teacher sighed but gave you a stern glare that clearly told you that you didn't have a choice.
That didn't stop you from trying one last time though. "That was just luck and I don't even know where he lives..." Your voice came out quiet before you had another thought and blurted out after it. "And I don't have time! I have a job after school!"
Your teacher just raised an eyebrow with a smirk though. "I'll give you his address and, given that everyone in the school has been let out early today, you can deliver it to him. Right..." She quickly wrote something down and shoved it in your arms as she spoke. "...now."
Looking at it, you saw it was an address and groaned before nodding sadly and grabbing your bag. Sometimes you really were too compliant and nice. Stuffing Jotaro's papers in it, you slung your bag over your shoulder and trudged out of the class, saying a weak 'bye' to the teacher while she smiled happily and waved at you.
Either she had an evil master plan of taking over the world and this was part of said elaborate plan, or she was shipping two students and wanted a way for them to get together. You were hoping it was the first one; it would prove a lot less difficult.

Turns out, Jotaro Kujo lives in a fucking mansion.
You were practically grumbling the entire way. You knew he came to school this morning, the entire female population was practically abuzz at the fact he was there. Somehow though, he never made it to class. Would it have something to do with the incident at the school nurse? The principal himself said that something happened but that nobody should be worried and everything was taken care of. The ambulance you saw driving away told another story though.
But now you were standing in front of the gate after the long walk (you were trying to figure out how to get to the address), taking in a deep breath for what was to come. Looking around, you didn't see a bell or knocker anywhere with which you could announce your arrival so, after a bit, you tested the large wooden gates by pushing slightly, startling when it easily opened. Peeking inside, there didn't seem to be anybody home but you just had to stare in awe for a second at the sheer size of the estate.
After a few seconds, you just sucked it up and walked inside, bringing your bag in front of you to pluck out Jotaro's papers so that you could give it to him and bolt as soon as possible. You really weren't looking forward to this, given that he most likely still despised your guts.
"H-Hello?" You called out into the emptiness, needing at least some way to let people know you were there. You already felt like you were breaking and entering and that feeling worsened when you were seemingly getting no response to your calls. If it weren't for the tidy and clean exterior, you'd say this was an abandoned haunted mansion. "Kujo? Anybody?" You softly called out again and a woman suddenly popped her head out of a room, looking at you curiously.
"Hello, can I help you?" She smiled a warm and happy smile and you couldn't help but smile back sweetly, a small wave of relief washing over you thanks to her welcoming smile.
"Hi, I'm a classmate of Kujo Jotaro, here to deliver some school work?" You held up the papers in your hand for her to see, secretly hoping she would take them from you although you knew your teacher wanted you to explain the assignment to him as well.
"Ooh, a classmate?! Are you friends with my Jotaro?" She excitedly bounced up and down, seemingly ignoring the papers in your hand in her excitement, only to see your confused face and quickly calm down a little. "Oh, I'm sorry dear." She giggled. "He's in the tea room, it's just over there!" She pointed to a room to your right and you bowed with a smile, dejectedly pulling your arm back. She didn't take the papers but you were unable to hold it against her, she was too nice for that.
"Thank you, I'll just deliver it and be out of your hair."
"No need to worry!" She called out after you while you walked to the room she pointed out. It didn't look it at first, but it was a lot further and a lot more walking than it seemed. God this house was big.
As you got closer to the room, you heard raised voices and to your dread, realized there were other people there. Great, so you had to give school work to a guy who didn't like you and socialize with his relatives at the same time?
"Um, Kujo?"
"Overdrive!!"
The moment you rounded the corner, something soared towards your head and you yelped, ducking down on instinct and shielding your head with the papers while whatever flew at you passed over your head before dissolving into nothing but what seemed like ash. Now that the danger was passed, you tentatively brought your arms down and looked up to see four very shocked and confused men, one of which was bleeding from his head.
"Ahaha, sorry, didn't mean to walk in on anything. I'll wait right outside." You quickly stood up again before awkwardly twirling out the doorway, taking a few large and uncomfortable steps to try and give them some privacy.
"Y/N." The deep voice made you freeze in your tracks, one leg comically still up. Placing the limb down, you looked over your shoulder to see Jotaro glaring at you and you grinned awkwardly, slowly turning around to face him fully before giving him a small wave. "What are you doing here?"
Looking you up and down, his eyes were narrowed, almost as if he was suspicious of you. Fearing he'd think you were stalking him, you held up the paper in your hand with a frantic motion.
"The teacher asked me to deliver this to you! She said this project was 50% of the grade and therefore had to get to you as soon as possible! You can read the explanation of what you have to do on the paper itself!" Your voice was a little higher pitched than normal in your panicked state and you took a step forward, not noticing the defensive position Jotaro immediately took up before you shoved the papers into his hands and turned around. "That was all I had to do so, good luck, nice seeing you, bye!" Your mind had all but foregone explaining the actual project to the boy like the teacher asked, solely focused on getting out of there right now.
You were only able to sprint about two steps away when something grabbed the back of your collar and lifted you into the air, basically holding you up by the scruff of your neck like some puppy.
"Ah!" You yelped slightly and squirmed for a second before – when that didn't work – moving your head and neck back to look at your captor, being met face to face with a purple man. He stared down at you with a curious look, having those same bright shining coloured eyes as Jotaro while his black wavy hair seemed to be ever moving. "What the-" You recognized the energy coming from it, sending your brain into overdrive. Somehow, Jotaro Kujo had a Stand as well?!
"Jotaro, who's this?" A voice you didn't recognize spoke but you assumed by the sound of it, it came from the old man you saw in the room earlier – given that you had no visual since you were unable to turn around.
"Stay here." You heard Jotaro say to you from behind before his footsteps trailed back to the room he was in before, most likely going to talk with those inside. It's not like you had a choice anyways, since the purple buff dude was still holding you aloft.
You felt only moderately uncomfortable as the Stand seemed to be taking in your features. " 'Sup?" You asked, not really knowing what else to do.
The stand cocked his head to the side before letting out a soft 'Ora!' and you chuckled nervously at the ridiculous situation you got yourself into. Sure you could bring out your own Stand to try and break free, but you'd rather protect people than attack and getting even more on Jotaro's bad side seemed like a bad idea.
As you hung there in the air, the woman from before walked past with a medical kit that you assumed was for the injured teen that was in the room. She looked shocked to see you there, hanging in the air and you just waved, sweat-dropping. Seeing as you were in a good enough and seemingly casual mood, she just waved back a little stunned before walking along to the room.
All in all, you figured she took that pretty well.
You just hung limp for a little while longer and while you were contemplating your situation, you were suddenly dropped onto the floor like a sack of potatoes, landing harshly on your butt before falling onto your back. The sun that was shining on you a second ago got blocked by large shadows and you opened your eyes to see three tall and buff figures looming over you.
Quickly sitting up, you turned around to face them and shuffled backward a little. A shadow was cast over their faces, making your heart pick up speed in fear given how dangerous they all looked.
"Did Dio send you?" The older man spoke up and you furrowed your brows.
"What?"
"Jotaro says you're a Stand user, you could clearly see his Stand so who are you and why are you here?"
"Y/N L/N, I'm a Stand user yes but I honestly just came by to deliver that homework! I didn't even know there was another Stand user in these parts!" You held your hands up in defense, staying as small as possible.
The older man shared a look with the man in robes while Jotaro continued to stare down at you with a calculating glare. Your eyes were pleading him and you were practically shaking at this point. You had no idea what was going on and it must have been evident on your face as Jotaro crouched down to your level, sighing as his eyes turned a little softer.
"You saved me from that car wreck, a follower of Dio wouldn't do that. Let me see your forehead." He motioned for you to come closer and you squeaked at the absurd request, yet still shuffled forwards on your butt.
He took hold of your head and inspected your hairline, moving the hair there around a little before letting out a seemingly satisfied grunt and standing up. He held his hand out for you and you gingerly took it, letting him pull you up.
"Wait, car wreck?" The old man who was standing to your left, slightly behind Jotaro, muttered to himself, a hand on his chin in thought before his face lit up. "Oh, you're the one my grandson wanted me to help as well!" His whole demeanor did a 180˚ and he stepped forward and practically shoved Jotaro out of the way before engulfing you in a hug.
For the second time that day you could feel your feet leave the floor as you were now crushed in a bear hug, the man spinning you around slightly while laughing and blabbering all sorts of nonsense that you weren't able to catch. Your arms were pinned to the side and you could do nothing but stare wide eyed in shock at the world twirling by. Thankfully, he stopped spinning and your gaze crossed with Jotaro, sending him a look that screamed 'help!'
"Old man, you're gonna suffocate her." He
