One calm Spring-like day, the Mystery Machine was driving along an empty road, heading to the city. The Mystery Inc. gang were getting ready to meet an old friend of theirs Braedey and his caretaker Willow hadn't seen before. Also, there was someone with the person the gang knows of that Braedey may know of.

"I wonder who the person might be you know there." Braedey said at a few times, but he knew it was a surprise.

"Like, are we there yet, Fred?" Shaggy asked, all the while playing a handheld video game.

"I told you, Shaggy, soon." Fred replied.

"But you said that an hour ago, man." Shaggy sighed.

"It's so impressive that Eric might receive a grand for his computer project." Daphne said, while putting on some makeup.

Fred shrugged. "Doesn't surprise me. Back at high school, they practically lived in a computer lab. Right, Velma?" He asked.

Velma nodded. "Yep, he's one smart cookie." She tapped her forehead for emphasis.

"Rookie? Rookie!" Scooby asked.

Willow patted his head. "Sorry, Scooby. Figure of speech." She said to him.

Scooby sighed. "Aww."

Shaggy patted Scooby's head. "Cheer up, Scoob. When we get there, we'll get to play the game Eric designed. I bet it's way cooler than this one."

Scooby perked up. "Reah, cooler!"

Fred smiled. "Imagine a computer game starting all of us."

Velma nodded in agreement. "Solving mysteries in cyber chase."

As Shaggy continued playing his video game, his player got destroyed by the evil spaceship as it shows "GAME OVER". "Like, I hope I do better on Eric's game than this one." He said, and the gang laughed.

"Better luck next time, Shaggy." Braedey said to Shaggy.

The gang soon arrived at the state university outside of the city. They pulled into the guest carpark, and were walking along to the main building.

"Wow..." Willow said in awe. She then took Braedey's hand.

"Willow... I'm not a 5 year old, you know." Braedey said to her with an annoyed expression.

"I'm just being sure." Willow replied softly.

"HEY!" A portly security guard stopped the gang and walked over to them. "Where do you think you're goin'?"

"We're visiting a friend of the gang." Willow explained. "He's a student here, along with someone else."

"Not if you're not on my list." The guard sneered at the gang.

"Just look under Fred Jones." The brunette pointed to his name that was on the list.

"Is this whole group with you?" The officer asked, then looked at Scooby. "Including the dog?" He asked.

Scooby looked confused. "Rog? Rhere?" He asked.

"He meant you, Scooby." Braedey whispered. He took note of the name 'WEMBLY' on the guard's coat.

The officer took a look at the clipboard in his hand. "There you are. But just so you know... I don't like a bunch of punks running around my university." He said to them.

Daphne was confused. "Your university?" She asked.

While Officer Wembly talked to the gang, Scooby took his hat and started copying him. "It might as well be. I've been here for 20 years. And there's never been any trouble on my watch. I'm the head of security. Wembley's the name." Velma, Willow, Daphne, Braedey, and Fred all quietly giggled at Scooby and Scooby laughed quietly.

"Twenty years is an impressive record." Velma commented, stifling to not laugh.

"You bet it is. I want to make sure it stays..." Officer Wembley now realised his hat is gone and spotted Scooby with his hat. Scooby giggled sheepishly. "A wise guy, eh?" Wembly took his hat back. "I'm keeping a special eye on you, pooch!" He warned Scooby.

"Rooch?" Scooby asked pointing to himself.

Shaggy cuts in. "Like, Scooby's just playing, officer."

Scooby nodded. "Reah, sorry."

"We just need some help finding the computer lab." Fred asked.

Officer Wembly sighed. "The lab is three buildings down on the left." He gave directions for them.

Fred nodded. "Thanks."

Officer Wembly eyed Scooby. "And keep your dog off the grass." He said, and Scooby scoffed at this.

When they walked through the university building, the gang paid attention to the door signs to find the computer lab. But, as they do, they heard the sound of footsteps just behind them. The gang all turned around, and the gang, except for Willow, all smiled at who it was.

The person is a man, standing only 5ft 6" tall, with deep blue eyes, along with fair skin, and short spiky dusty blonde hair. He has on a light blue short-sleeve shirt with a tan vest overtop, tan colour cargo pants, and pair of combat boots. He even has a dino-tooth necklace around his neck.

This is Terrence Joseph Martin, Braedey's cousin, who was in league with the Evil Masked Figure under the guise of Galvatronous, but he turned to the good side after he helped to defeat the Evil Masked Figure.

"Terrence!" Braedey ran up, and hugged his cousin. "Hey. Is this is where've you been?" He asked.

"Hey, little cousin. It's great to see you again, along with the gang. Good to see you all." Terrence nodded to the gang, then he noticed Willow. "Willow? Is that you..." He walked over to her, and gave a gentle hug, much to her surprise. "It's been a long time since."

Willow was rather surprised, but she hugged him back. But as she looked at him once he released his embrace, she noticed something amiss. "Wait. Where did you get that scar?"

The scar Willow was referring to, was a very long scar, which ran from the top left side of his forehead, down across his face, over his left eye, across his nose, then down to the bottom of his right cheek.

"I'll... I'll explain later." Terrence replied quickly, and he lead the gang down to the lab, leaving Braedey and Willow concerned and confused.

After sharing a friendly meeting with everyone, especially Braedey and Willow, the gang all head off to follow Terrence and Eric into the computer lab.

"Guys, this lab is one groovy set!" Daphne was amazed. They saw many books, beakers, and there was even a tomato plant in the room.

"Yeah, no kidding." Braedey said.

"I like it too." Eric smiled as he leads them all inside.

Of course, passing the tomato plant experiment made Shaggy and Scooby hungry. "Oh, guys, don't eat those." Terrence warned them. "They're not safe-to-eat."

"He's right, guys." One student with frizzy ginger hair and a red baseball cap added in, making Shaggy and Scooby stop. "They grow in radioactive soil." This shocked both Shaggy and Scooby, and it made the two start wiping their hands/paws on shaggy's shirt.

"Thanks for stopping Shaggy and Scooby from glowing in the dark." Braedey said to his cousin and the ginger hair student.

"You'll get dinner after the tour." Terrence promised to the two.

"Everyone, this is our lab partner, Bill McLemore." Eric introduced the gang to his lab partner.

"Nice to meet ya." Fred shook his hand.

"Well, isn't this a surprise." Braedey now turned around and smiled when he saw who was there. "Didn't expect to see you guys."

There stood Scorcher. He is a lean, muscular young man of average height with a slightly tan skin tone, black eyes, spiky pink-colour hair, and has abnormal sharp canines; he has a scar on the right side of his neck, hidden by his scarf. He has on an open-collar, one-sleeved long black overcoat, which is tucked in. The sleeve covers his left arm with a faux leather brown armband, leaving his mark, as well as his entire right arm, consequently exposed, a leather brown belt around his waist with an oval-shaped silver buckle, white knee-length trousers with black ribbon ties, a thick black wristband on his left wrist, and black open-toed sandals.

(A/N: Scorcher belongs to RickyArgueta60)

"Scorcher? What are you doing here?" Braedey asked.

"Would you believe it that both Scorcher and I were once college buddies?" Terrence said to Braedey, much to the latter's surprise. "The two of us knew one another when we were in college, and we still kept tabs on one another."

"Well, that's something else." Willow walked up to Scorcher, sharing a smile and a handshake. "Nice to see you again."

"So, are you here with Sheeva and Amber?" Braedey asked.

"Unfortunately not. They had to stay behind in Louisiana." Scorcher replied back to Braedey's question.

"So, when do we play this game?" Braedey now asked to Eric.

"The minute and sooner ve are rid of our problems..." an elder man with a lab coat and thick glasses walked into the room, he must have been the professor.

"And who might you be, sir?" Willow asked nicely.

"Professor Kaufman, I want you to meet Mystery, Inc." Eric introduced. "I based my game on them."

"And this is my brother, Braedey, and his caretaker, Willow." Terrence introduced his part of the group in the room.

"Ah, zhe famous Mystery Inc." Kaufman greeted, he then glanced to see the Great Dane playing by the beakers.

"And that's Scooby-Doo!" Shaggy happily introduced. Braedey and Willow seemed to find it funny, looking through the beakers with Scooby. Scooby giggled, he had a lot of fun seeing his reflection in various strange shapes.

"Um, zhat's very nice..." Kaufman said as he took off his glasses briefly to clean them, he was hoping Scooby wouldn't break any of them. "But you all showed up just in time for a little mystery."

"A mystery?" Velma asked, a little shocked and concerned.

"What happened?" Fred added.

"What's going on?" Braedey asked in concern.

"This is a hyper energy laser." Eric explained, coming up behind the device he just mentioned. "We use it so it can cut down normal objects and transport them into cyberspace."

"Amazing! So, you mean that you can beam things from the real world into the computer world?" Braedey asked in amazement.

"Precisely, Braedey." Kaufman gave a nod.

"Jinkies!" Velma was astonished.

"Double Jinkies." Willow agreed.

"Impressive." Scorcher cupped his chin in thought.

"That's fantastic." Daphne was also impressed.

"It was..." Eric frowned then, the gang looking in concern.

"We don't know who did it, but someone used the laser to beam a monster into our world last night." Terrence told them.

Shaggy and Scooby were instantly worried. "A monster!?" They shrieked before zipping off to run and hide around a corner.

"Yes, the computer virus was released right here into this world." Eric explained.

"A real freaky one in fact." Bill said, wiggling his fingers as a demonstration.

"It's even blocking some of the data in our computers." Terrence added with some frustration.

Daphne then knelt down next to the Great Dane, and hugged Scooby. "Where did this virus come from?" She asked in worry.

"From Eric's computer game." Bill answered, gesturing to one of the computers on a desk.

"Viruses don't just appear though; they have to be created by someone." Velma explained.

"She's right." Scorcher agreed with Velma's words.

"But I didn't create it!" Eric cried in defence.

"And neither did I!" Terrence also defended himself.

"I'm sure it vasn't Mr. Staufer or Mr. Martin, but whoever created zhe virus is in serious trouble." Kaufman said, gently calming down his two students, then he walked off to pick up a broken down telephone. "Our civilization is so dependent on technology, zhat zhis virus is such a threat to zhe entire vorld."

"Can you show us how it works?" Velma asked.

"Yes. Why not show us a demonstration of how it works?" Braedey said.

"You can show zhem zhe demo, but don't start zhe game!" Professor Kaufman told Terrence and Eric strictly and firmly in warning.

"Yes, sir." Eric agreed as he goes over to the computers.

Eric then started up the game to show the 'Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase' video game with Fred, Velma, Daphne, Scooby himself, and Shaggy, but Shaggy had a red shirt and blue pants in this version though, whilst Scooby has slowly brownish fur with a red collar, and Daphne was in her original outfit.

"Wow, we're digital!" Shaggy beamed.

"Reah, rigital!" Scooby agreed with a smile.

"Cool." Braedey said. He had to admit, it looked cool.

Eric looked to Braedey. "I'm sorry I didn't put you into the game." He apologised.

"It's okay." Braedey shrugged. "I still like it."

"We used the game to extrapolate 3D data into quantum particles." Eric explained to the gang. "From there, it's child's play to reintegrate molecular structure in virtual space."

Velma snapped her fingers. "Of course, it's so simple!"

The others just looked to her. "It is?"

"He uses the Scooby game as the location in cyberspace to store physical objects." Velma clarified, but she still lost the others.

Bill goes onto his own computer while Eric showed the others his Scooby gang. "This is a baseball game I'm working on. I haven't had any viruses though."

"Where did the virus come from then?" Daphne asked.

"Unfortunately, from my game..." Eric felt guilty, but he promised that he didn't do it.

"It's okay, Eric, I trust you..." Terrence said softly, feeling close with him and would always defend him like a true friend.

"Nice baseball game, Bill. I'm not much of a sports fan myself." Braedey replied softly as the major league theme played from

"I'm a huge fan of baseball myself." Fred smiled.

"The Scooby game has 10 levels." Eric explained about his game as he showed the demo. "You battle monsters or villains while trying to find Scooby Snacks on each level." He said, which of course, excited Shaggy and Scooby. "Okay, Professor, now check out the monitor."

Professor Kaufman nodded and pushed a button on the laser, which shot a beam of green energy, zapping the box of Scooby Snacks and transported them into the computer system, which now appeared on the big screen right before their very eyes, amazing them.

"Whoa." Braedey said.

"Amazing..." Willow added in.

"I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it with my own eyes." Daphne was blown away.

"Like, I don't believe it either." Shaggy sounded hurt as he went to the table. "We didn't even get one Scooby Snack."

"Eric, Bill, and Terrence are sure to vin the $250,000 dollar grand prize at zhe international science fair." Professor Kaufman told the gang, and that was proud with his students.

"Wait, it's just a computer virus, right?" Scorcher asked. "So, how much harm could it do in the real world?"

"You'd be surprised..." Terrence told him gravely.

"How powerful could it possibly be?" Willow now asked.

"Just trust us... Not even security could take him down..."
