* Yoru's Pov *

"This can't be happening!" Inuyasha yells while hugging Kagome's body close to him. 

"I don't want to believe this either... I promised myself to protect Kagome-chan but... Why does this have to happen?!" I cried out. 

"Don't shake her like that Inuyasha-sama!" Myoga suddenly says. 

"We need to get out of here first or you, Shippo and the Princess Nine Tails while get burned and if that happens, Sesshomaru-sama may not be happy" says Myoga while mumbling the last part about Sesshomaru. 

"Let's get out first Inuyasha" I said and he nodded.

Inuyasha then uses his Tetsusaiga to unleash Kaze no Kizu to dispute the fire in an instant while destroying the temple in the process. 

However, none of those matter at the moment. My precious cousin and her friends are dead... How am I suppose to face Sota-kun, Aunt Higurashi and Jii-chan?! How... I cried and trying not to mourn for their deaths. This has got to be a lie. Please... Let this be an April's Fools joke!

"Don't cry Shippo... You did well" I said with a shaky voice. 

"But if they all die, everything I did was for naught! It's my fault!" Shippo cries.

"It's not your fault Shippo! It's mine! I am sensed that the temple was weird from the beginning since my transformation was somehow undone! I- I should have-"

"It's none of your faults. If it's anyone's fault it is mine! If only I had sensed Renkotsu earlier and defeated GInkotsu earlier..." Inuyasha says. 

"Crying won't solve anything" says Myoga.

Later, Myoga questions me and Shippo if we had given them an antidote to which we replied yes. Shippo later tells him that it's an antidote from Jinenji.

"Hmm? Kyuubihime-sama, where did Inuyasha go?" Myoga questions. 

"Myoga-jii-chan... Let Inuyasha be alone for a moment... And also, I am not worthy of that tittle if I failed to protect my cousin and her friends" I said. 

"Has he gone to take revenge?" Myoga asks. 

Wait a minute... Myoga is a demon flea who has the ability to suck out poison from anyone's body. If Myoga could just... Ah but... It's too late. Ginkotsu said they can't last beyond sundown...

Soon, morning came the next day but we are still not over their deaths. Inuyasha later returns, telling Shippo not to cry anymore, saying that men never show tears no matter what.

Inuyasha holds Kagome close to her and I could see him shaking and trembling. He must be suffering and blaming himself at the moment. 

"Inuyasha" 

"Great, now I'm hearing Kagome-chan's voice" I said. 

"I can't... Breathe" My eyes widen. 

"Is that... Kagome-chan's voice?" I ask. 

I cried with tears of joy when Kagome, Sango and Miroku woke up and it was thanks to Myoga sucking out the poison that hasn't reach their system yet.

Later, Myoga makes a potion for the three only turned out to be made from a poisonous snake's blood which made me sweatdrop.

Koga then dropped by and he started yelling at Inuyasha for letting Kagome to be in danger and Inuyasha yells back, saying that he won;t ever let it happen again.

I decided to accompany Kagome and her group a little longer, at least until I can fully ensure that she is fully recovered before reuniting with Sesshomaru.
