* Yoru's Pov *

"This is such a big mountain!" Rin exclaims. 

"Well, I am feeling awful!" Jaken complains. 

We were currently at Mt. Hakurei and it seems like the barrier doesn't affect Rin since she's a human. Though I am in my human form, I won't be abe to last very long as well.

"Sigh, this mountain is so pure that we demons are having a hard time" says Jaken.

"Hmm? But Yoru-sama you seem fine" says Rin.

"For now at least but even I won't be able to last long here. I am originally a yokai after all" I said. 

Later Rin drags Jaken, saying that they should explore more. I had to stop Rin but ended up Jaken running out himsef, completely exhausted, much to Rin's confusion. 

"Rin, I'll follow you" I said.

"Ehh but Yoru-sama-"

"I'll be fine Jaken" I assured and accompanied Rin. 

Later, Rin decides to stay with Jaken while saying that Sesshomaru is late. He did say that he was going to follow Kohaku's scent and that is how we ended up here at Mt. Hakurei. 

"Rin! Don't run off on your own!" Jaken yells.

"Rin!" I yelled and chase after her. 

Jaken attempts to follow but was stop by a sacred barrier. I then tell Jaken to stay behind while I head to find Rin.

"Rin, what has gotten into you?" I ask when I caught up with her.

"Yoru-sama, I see Kohaku" She says.

"Ehh? Kohaku? So he is really here then" I said. 

Later Rin enters acave which I instantly followed and she calls out to Kohaku. 

"I'm so glad I got to see you again!" Rin exclaims. 

"Rin, why are you here?" Kohaku ask. 

"Rin came chasing after you when she saw you" I told him. 

"Y-Yoru?"

"Last time we didn't part in a nice way and it bothered me" says Rin and I sweatdrop.

"Go back. This is no place for you. Yoru-san, please take Rin out of here" says Kohaku. 

Just then, I sense quite a number of demons from behind Kohaku. Kohaku stands in front of Rin while I stand in front of the both of them.

If I were to transform into my kyuubi form, I would only have a limited amount of time. Besides, we are in Mt. Hakurei and it may be difficult for me to fight at my full power.

"Rin, go back slowly before they notice you" Kohaku says in a soft voice.

"How can demons be here at such a pure mountain?" I wondered.

"What about you Kohaku?" Rin ask worryingly.

"They won't attack. So go, before they kill you" says Kohaku. 

"Rin, listen to Kohaku. If anything happens I'll protect the both of you" I assured.

"But Yoru-sama, your powers-"

"Don't worry about me Rin" I said with a smile. 

Rin nods and later runs out of the cave. Rin, go back to Jaken where it's safe...

"Kohaku, you better explain why is there demons here? Is Naraku here?" I ask.

"I can't answer that but Yoru-san better leave as well" says Kohaku.

"Fine, I will let you handle this" I said and left.

I then meet up with Rin and Sesshomaru but I was starting to get exhausted.

"Rin, Sesshomaru" I called.

"Yoru-sama!"

"So you were in the barrier?" Sesshomaru questions.

"I could but it's only for a limited of time" I said.
