Name: Hantaa West

Race: Shinigami

Rank: Fourth Seat in Eleventh Division, though she use to be in Seventh Division

Looks: 5 feet tall, and has a deep scar running up the entire length of her left leg.

Personality: Hantaa is usually laidback even though she can quickly become a sarcastic pain in the ass. She will defend deeply what she believes, and always has an eye on her surroundings. Hantaa isn't a people person, but she can put up with large crowds, just not for long. She isn't arrogant, but it takes a lot to impress her and earn her respect. Not very trustworthy of others. Very protective of the Eleventh Division; they're her family. Can take a lot of damage as she's amazingly strong for her size and power.

Zanpakuto: It's a crimson bladed katana called Zetsumeiba Yaiba. In Shikai [Prepare to kill Zetsumeiba], the blade deepens to almost a blackish red with a black handle with ribbons tied to it. In Bankai (Bloodstained Zetsumeiba), it's a scythe with a garnet embedded into each side of the blade. Skeleton looking armor protects her forearms and forms metal gloves.

History: Started off as a government hunter. But placed into recon as her desire for fighting was over ruling her will to serve. She was killed by Hollow during a difficult mission though she had sensed it, she had no idea how to fight it. Entered the Soul Academy and placed in the Seventh Division, but then moved to Eleventh.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was a quiet, sunny, peaceful day in the Soul Society. It was Saturday and no one was up yet, except for one person. She walked around the Eleventh Squad barracks, taking in the serine atmosphere, something that was very rare in the fight loving squad. The night before everyone had gone drinking so they were all sleeping off their hangovers. However, this woman was completely fine. Instead, she had been watching over her Lieutenant, Yachiru, so she was hangover free.

The woman watched as the birds flew overhead, listened to the running water in the nearby stream, and felt the light breeze against her skin. It was perfect-

The wall to her right exploded ten feet away and an unranked squad member came flying through. Scratch that, this is completely the opposite, the woman thought to herself.

"Captain!" she yelled. "How many times do I have to tell you to stop going after our unranked officers? You're gonna kill them!"

The Captain, known as Kenpachi Zaraki, peeked his head out from the hole and looked at his Fourth Seat. "How'd you know it was me, Hantaa?" he asked.

The woman sighed in annoyance, grabbing the unranked officer by the arm and hoisting him to his feet, before she proceeded in pushing him off down the path. He staggered dizzily away as Hantaa faced her Captain, arms crossed. "Maybe it's because I've known you for far too long. That and you have a habit of throwing your opponents through walls."

"Ah, I was looking for a good fight."

"He's an unranked officer!"

"My mistake."

Hantaa sighed in frustration, knowing what he was getting at. "Would you like to spar with me, Captain?"

Kenpachi grinned dangerously. "I thought you'd never ask."

It wasn't until lunchtime when they stopped. Hantaa lay on the ground, breathing deeply, trying to get back her breath. Kenpachi lay at the other end of the training grounds, doing the same. A whistle broke through the air and they looked over to see Ikkaku and Yumichika walking toward them.

"Damn, you two made a mess of things," Ikkaku said, looking at the destroyed grounds.

"Seriously, Hantaa, you need to be more careful of your perfect skin," Yumichika said. "You're going to sadly scar it up."

Hantaa smirked. "I don't think that's a bad thing," she answered. "That just means I've fought more fights and lived to tell the tale."

Kenpachi's roar of laughter broke through the air as he sat up. The man then got to his feet, walking towards the group. "That's what I like to hear," he said to Hantaa. "Now, let's go." The woman lay there on the ground, not moving. "Well, what are you waiting for?"

"I would get up, but that last attack you delivered cut through my hip." The three men turned their attention to the large rip on her lower half. "I can't feel a thing."

"You damn idiot, why didn't you say something sooner?" Ikkaku asked.

"Hmm, I don't know, Baldy, maybe it was because I was fighting and because you guys came around and distracted me."

"I'm not BALD!" Ikkaku yelled, gripping his hilt.

"Cut it out, Ikkaku," Yumichika butt in. "It's clear that Miss. Hantaa needs medical assistance right away."

Hantaa snorted. "I don't need a damned Fourth Division member's help," she said back.

"Be reasonable, you need help."

"I can heal fine on my own."

Suddenly, Kenpachi pushed the two Soul Reapers out of the way, bent down, and grabbed Hantaa by the back of her fighting kimono. "If you can walk so damn well, then show us," Kenpachi said, setting the woman on her feet. Hantaa yelped from the pressure that was placed on the leg, and Kenpachi hoisted her back into the air quickly. "That's what I thought. You're coming with me."

Kenpachi threw his Fourth Seat over his shoulder, her head looking behind him. "Captain! Put me down!" Hantaa exclaimed, wiggling around, and beat her fists against Kenpachi's back.

"Will you quit your struggling? You're so damn annoying."

"I'm touched by the complement." Ikkaku and Yumichika snickered as the Captain walked away with the woman.

"Where's your Captain?" Kenpachi asked a seated officer when he arrived at the Fourth Division.

"Captain Zaraki, what are you doing here?" Unohana asked the approaching large Captain.

"I have an officer who needs treatment," Kenpachi said, motioning to Hantaa who was still draped over his shoulder.

"I don't need any damned help!" she protested.

"The hell you don't," Kenpachi shot back.

"This way," Unohana said, leading them to a room.

Kenpachi placed Hantaa on a bed and Unohana looked at where the wound was. "Captain Zaraki, I'll have to undress your subordinate. You'll have to leave."

The man rolled his eyes, grunting, before exiting the room. Once Hantaa was down to her underwear Unohana began to examine the large gash. "You managed to sever some muscles, nerves, and tendons. I can heal your nerves and most of your injury, but the rest will be up to you."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," Hantaa grumbled, looking up at the ceiling. She grunted when Unohana applied pressure and began to slowly mend her back up. Once done, Hantaa pulled back on her pants and slowly eased off the bed. Her leg was sore, and she had a limp, but she'd live.

"Here," Unohana said, passing the girl some ointment, medicine, and bandages. "The wound is closed, but you'll have to take this medicine to ease the soreness, and change your bandages and reapply this ointment every morning and night. We don't want it to get infected and I'm sure the squad wants you in top shape."

"Got it." Hantaa hobbled out to the waiting room where her Captain was sitting. "I didn't expect you to still be waiting for me."

"I had nothing else to do. Let's go-"

"One moment, Captain Zaraki," Unohana spoke up.

"What?"

"Hantaa will not be able to fight for a few weeks. She has to put as little strain as possible on that leg. We don't want her to reinjure and permanently damage it."

"Got it."

With that Kenpachi picked Hantaa back up and slung the woman over his shoulder once more. "Captain!" the Fourth Seat exclaimed.

"Quit you're complaining, or I'll make you walk back to the Division."

Hantaa shut up and Kenpachi rushed off.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

"This is so damn annoying!" Hantaa exclaimed. It had been three days since her last fight. "Why won't this thing heal faster?"

"Take it easy, it isn't the end of the world," Yumichika spoke up.

"I just find it annoying that I can't get around as fast as I used to. I feel like a cripple!"

"Just be glad you didn't lose your leg."

"Yeah," Hantaa grumbled. She got up and limped out of the lounge area. The sun was setting in the distance as the Fourth Seat walked back to her quarters. She limped along the path, grunting here and there if she accidentally put too much pressure on the sore muscles.

"Where you headed?" a voice asked from behind.

Hantaa turned around and saw Kenpachi approaching. "Back to my quarters," the Soul Reaper answered. "It was too boring and crowded in the lounge for my liking." She then noticed a certain someone missing. "Where's the Lieutenant?"

"She went rushing after Ikkaku some time ago."

Hantaa chuckled, imagining the Third Seat being chased by the child. Her thoughts were broken when her feet left the ground. Hantaa found herself hoisted into the air in Kenpachi's arms. "Cap-?"

"I'm heading the same way you are, and besides, you're too slow for my liking."

A vein pulsed on Hantaa's head as she playfully punched Kenpachi in the chest. "Shut up," she mumbled, crossing her arms. The man laughed.

Once at her door, Kenpachi opened it and walked inside before placing Hantaa carefully on the ground. She walked into the bedroom, grabbing her medicine. She quickly swallowed it with some water before taking her ointment and bandages, sitting on her bed. She began to loosen the waist of her pants before she looked over at the door and saw Kenpachi standing in it. "Captain!" Hantaa exclaimed, pulling the fabric tighter to her. The Fourth Seat thought he would've left not followed.

Kenpachi walked into the room and stood in front of Hantaa. "How bad was it?" he asked.

"Not that bad," the young woman answered. She was surprised she was keeping a calm composure. "It'll be a pretty sweet scar through."

Kenpachi bent down and Hantaa had to lean back on the bed, upper body propped up by her elbows. Finally he stopped once his hands rested on the mattress. He smirked, before saying, "Show me."

Hantaa's face turned red in embarrassment, unable to say anything. That had caught her off guard. Her mouth opened to answer before snapping back close. Kenpachi's smirk widened before he leaned down. He took the hem of her pants between his teeth and began to tug at them. Hantaa's face went completely red. With one hand he helped ease the waist of her pants down, stopping around her crotch.

Kenpachi then carefully pulled the bandages away till he was face to face with an angry red scar with black and blue bruises around it. "Damn," Kenpachi whispered.

"I-It's not that bad," Hantaa spoke just as quiet.

The man looked up at her, their eyes locking. He smirked. "I'm talking about the rest of the package, Hantaa."

Her eyes widened. Kenpachi came back up, his hands pushing away her kimono top to reveal the bra. His rough hands traveled down both sides, making Hantaa shiver. The Captain leaned down, his face very close to Hantaa's. "May I kiss you?" Kenpachi whispered.

Hantaa glanced at his lips before looking back into his eye. She leaned forward until their lips barely touched. Kenpachi breathed against Hantaa's lips before kissing her harder, rougher. His right arm hooked around her waist, pulling the woman's body closer, while his left hand pulled out the ponytail before entangled in her hair. Hantaa's hands gripped the front of Kenpachi's kimono, pulling herself closer.

Hantaa hissed against Kenpachi's lips when her injured leg moved to swiftly. That little noise turned the Captain on. With his hand he gripped Hantaa's uninjured leg, pulling it up so it brushed against his hip. He then laid Hantaa back against the sheets before detaching his lips from hers. Kenpachi's mouth traveled down the woman's neck, between the valley of her breasts, to her bellybutton. He licked and nipped at the skin making Hantaa moan. Kenpachi then turned and looked at Hantaa's scar. He lightly kissed it, making her shiver.

Kenpachi sighed against it before bringing himself back up to Hantaa's lips and kissed her softly. "What's wrong?" she whispered.

"You're not in top shape to do anything else tonight," Kenpachi spoke.

A vein pulsed on Hantaa's forehead. "I'm fine," she shot back.

Kenpachi rolled his eyes. "The hell you are." The Soul Reaper glared at her Captain, who smirked in return. "Believe me, what I plan to do to you, you will need to be in top shape."

The Fourth Seat's face turned completely red and Kenpachi roared with laughter, kissing Hantaa on the lips once again. The woman deepened it and before Kenpachi pulled away he caught her lower lip in his teeth, tugging at it seductively. Hantaa moaned, grinding her hips against Kenpachi's. The man growled before gripping Hantaa's arms tightly.

"Don't tempt me, Hantaa," Kenpachi warned against her lips.

Hantaa smirked before licking her lips and then the man's. The Captain snarled, turning his head away. He then rolled himself off of Hantaa before drawing her against the side of his chest.

Hantaa laughed. "You're so easy to tease."

Kenpachi rolled his eyes. "Shut up," he grumbled.

She giggled before settling herself beside him. He looked down at the woman before kissing the top of her head and falling asleep as well.
