"Have you had enough yet?"

Blood dripped from her lips, staining the white marble below. Her expression was hard, staring up at the man seated on his dais. Meanwhile, his smile was cold, nodding to his partner who stood behind her kneeling body. The whip cracked in the air and she pulled against the metal bindings that were clasped to each wrist and restrained against the far walls.

"How much longer are we going to continue to rip you open?"

The young woman's body shook from the shock before throwing up. Arrancars' grinned and chuckled in amusement all around, watching. However, there was one who could only look away. "You're missing the show, Grimmjow," Szayel said.

"Feh, I see enough blood on the battlefield."

"Yes, but this is a woman. Purer than Hollows' like us. Even more so than Tia."

"She's still has Reaper blood in her," Ulquiorra said. "Half-breed. This trash will be killing our kind soon enough."

Finally all movement stopped. "Grimmjow," came Aizen's voice. "Please take our guest to the lower chambers. Do be sure to get some information out of her. I know how much you enjoy a challenge."

Glancing up, he glared at the Soul Reaper above him before drifting towards the barely conscious girl. Quickly making work of the chains he gripped an upper arm before she fell face first into her own blood. Her body was so light dragging the half-breed was no struggle, though once gone from the room he lifted her into his arms and continued. Dazed from the blood loss she found it hard to see straight and get a clear view on the Arrancar.

The room was dimly lit, the metal bar door creaking open before he slammed it shut. Leaning down the man set the young woman on the floor front first to avoid aggravating the injuries. "Hey, hey," he said trying to shake the girl awake. "You can't close your eyes or you'll never wake up." She groaned, barely shifting from the pain. The Espada sighed. "You should just give them answers."

"Why do you care?" Her voice was barely a whisper and the young man had to use his animal senses to hear it.

"I don't know..." Grimmjow muttered.

"Either torture me or leave."

He snorted. "And have to look at that bastard's face sooner than I want? I'm good." She tried to get a better look at him, only to hiss seconds later. "I wouldn't move if I were you. When the others finally clear out I can get some bandages."

"Why are you trying to help me?"

"Because you're unarmed. I take it you don't even have a zanpakuto." No answer. "Do you even know what you are?"

"Barely."

"Half-breed. Half human. Half Soul Reaper. Your kind hunt us. Full blood Reapers. We're in the middle of a war, which is why you were captured in the first place. You have a connection to the higher ups so Aizen is under the assumption you know certain information that could help defeat our enemies."

"I don't know anything. That is the truth." Grimmjow reached forward, pulling away her black hair to get a better look at her face. "It was you, wasn't it?" He didn't answer. "Watching me. I knew I was being followed for the last few weeks." She wheezed, trying to get a good breath. "But you weren't the one to bring me in."

"No. I was hunting down a Soul Reaper when I felt your pressure."

"Why didn't you show yourself?"

"Because you could've been a threat. Obviously not seeing as that Tesla was the one to drag you in and he's a weakling."

"I'm sorry I'm not strong enough."

"You were never trained." Grimmjow watched as she slowly shifted, sighing to himself. "You're only going to open those wounds up even more and-"

His eyes widened, watching as the blood covered skin began pulling together on its own and mended. When it finally stopped there wasn't even a scar left on her body. "Whoa..." the young man breathed. Palms pressing against the ground the half-breed sat up, trying to hold the remains of her shirt together in the front. "You really are the daughter of Unohana."

She looked over at him. "Who is that?"

His brow cocked. "Seriously? Do you know anything?"

"I never knew my mother. Dad said she died when I was a baby."

"News flash, she's one of the most powerful Soul Reapers in the Society. The Captain of the Healing Division."

"Oh..."

"Aizen does not know of your powers. Otherwise he would've just continued with those whips."

"Are you going to tell him?" They only stared at each other as he thought it over.

Grimmjow grinned. "Now why would I give him important information like that?" She visibly gulped. "I'm going to use this to my advantage."

"Uh... all right."

His expression instantly turned serious. "When Aizen sees you again he'll notice you're healed. Unless you know how to reverse the process."

"Unfortunately, no."

"Then we have a problem."

"I can't control it sometimes if the damage is serious. Otherwise I would've made it slower so it wasn't as obvious."

The Espada's eyes narrowed. "Hit me."

She blinked in surprise. "What?"

"Hit me. I'll open a garganta for you to return to the World of the Living, but we'll need to make it look convincing that you in fact can fight like a Reaper."

"Won't that put me in even more danger?"

"Which is why you need to leave Karakura completely."

"My father..."

"Take him with you. He's in danger as well."

"I'm not strong. I'll barely make a bruise."

Swiftly he reached forward taking a hand in his own before slamming it against his jaw. The young woman winced feeling a sing in her bones. However, the Espada had formed the fist perfectly so the damage was reduced on her untrained muscles and joints. Plus, the added pressure he flared up in his own knuckles caused the area to swell up.

Grimmjow stood, pulling her with him. "What's your name?"

"Kaya."

"Good. When this is all over I'll be sure to come for you." A black hole opened to their right, causing her to look over.

"Why are you helping me?"

"Because I don't think you deserve to be here. Or mixed up in all of this. Besides you're useless to Aizen, but he won't listen and accept you know nothing. You'll only end up being killed and Kurosaki doesn't even know you exist. They won't come for you."

"Who?"

He shook his head. "Unimportant." His grip shifted. "Two hits; one to my gut the other to my cheek when I bend down. A knock out punch. You'll only have less than a minute to walk inside that black hole before it closes. And whatever you do don't stop and look back. Keep walking. Eventually it'll open up on its own." Kaya nodded. "Focus your pressure into this fist so it lingers when the others come. That way it won't look staged."

Grimmjow could feel the power growing in his grip. "Gut. Cheek. Got it."

"I'll be guiding you the whole way. Focus. One. Two. Three-"

Her movement was swift, the Espada surprised when she began leading him. The air rushed from his lungs, bending over the fist before it contacted with his cheek. The young man hit the floor, releasing the girl and lying daze. Kaya squeaked, dropping to her knees beside him. "Are you okay?"

He chuckled, lazily looking up at her. "You're a lot stronger than you think." Kaya blushed in embarrassment. "Now go. Before someone comes looking."

The girl stared down at the Espada who miraculously came to her aid. "Thank you."

"Don't worry, I'll come to collect later."

"I'm sure you will..." He chuckled, but was surprised when she pressed her lips against his Hollow mask. "And I look forward to it."

Grimmjow watched as she disappeared, smirking to himself before passing out.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Someone kicked the Espada's side, the young man grunting before opening his eyes. Ulquiorra stared down at the Sixth without any emotion. "Where's the girl, Grimmjow?"

"Fucking bitch attacked me when I wasn't looking."

"She could barely move in the throne room."

"Well obviously she was faking it and escaped."

"Pathetic."

"Clearly everyone underestimated her."

"Did you find out anything at least?"

"Only that she didn't even know she was the daughter of Unohana."

"I will tell Lord Aizen of your incompetence. For your sake I hope we can recover her."

Sitting himself up he watched as the Fourth exited the room, rubbing his swollen cheek. Grimmjow smirked to himself though, pleased with not only his find, but with the fact that he made a dent in the Soul Reaper's plans. After all, he was the rightful King of Las Noches.
