Sierra hummed to herself as she walked down the hall, hands clasped behind her back. Up ahead she saw Grimmjow coming her way. Sierra smiled and danced over to the Arrancar and greeted him with a smile. "How are you doing today, Sierra?" The young woman smiled up at Grimmjow, causing him to smirk. "Good, come with me." They continued to walk down the hall. "Lord Aizen is requesting your presence today. Are you okay with that?"
Sierra nodded and began to hum again. Grimmjow listened to the young woman, closing his eyes and getting lost in the song. When it stopped the Espada's eyes snapped open. He looked down at Sierra. Here eyes were wide as she stared ahead. "Sierra, what's wrong?"
She didn't answer and Grimmjow followed Sierra's eyes. Nnoitra was walking down the hall, a dangerous smile on his face. The man snarled, putting a hand on the small of Sierra's back and ushered her down the next hall. Nnoitra followed. As much as Grimmjow did not like Ulquiorra, in times like this the Sixth Espada relied on him.
Grimmjow threw open the door to the Fourth Espada's room and pushed Sierra inside. "Watch her," Grimmjow growled before closing the door and walking down the hall right as Nnoitra rounded the corner.
Sierra looked around the room and spotted the young man lying on his bed. She walked over and sat on the edge. "Nnoitra again?" Ulquiorra asked, staring up at the ceiling. Sierra nodded. He closed his eyes and they sat in silence for a few minutes before Ulquiorra said, "He's gone now."
Sierra looked up at the door, waiting for Grimmjow to return. "Can you sing me a song while you wait?"
The girl smiled down at the Espada before starting up a song.

Meanwhile, Nnoitra had caught up with Grimmjow. "What do you think you are doing, Nnoitra?"
"My, my, you're missing someone," the said man taunted. "Where did that lovely servant of yours go?"
"I've told you a thousand times, Nnoitra, but I will say it again: stay away from Sierra."
"Hmm... but she looks so innocent and delightful to taunt." A dangerous smile crossed his face. Grimmjow slammed the Fifth Espada into a wall.
"I am warning you, Nnoitra, stay away from Sierra."
"Make me."
Grimmjow snarled, walking away to grab Sierra from Ulquiorra. When the man opened the door he found Ulquiorra sitting on his bed, back against the wall with Sierra's head resting in his lap. "Is he gone?" the Fourth asked.
"Yeah," Grimmjow grumbled.
"I wonder, Grimmjow, why do you protect her so?"
"Why not?"
"You have plenty of other servants."
"Sierra is like a little sister to me, alright? And I don't see you complaining about me saving her all the time. After all, she always sings for you when you ask her too." Ulquiorra said nothing as he stared down at the sleeping girl. His hand stroked her hair. "I'll leave her with you and let her sleep. I'm going to tell Lord Aizen that Sierra will be running late."
Grimmjow left.
Ulquiorra stared down at Sierra, who snuggled closer to him. You're not a fighter, and Nnoitra knows that, the young man thought to himself. You just need to be more careful, Sierra...

"Thank you for your performance today, Sierra," Aizen spoke when the girl was done singing. "You are free to go."
Sierra bowed before walking out. Tia appeared at her side. "You make me jealous with that voice," she said. Sierra smiled sheepishly. "Grimmjow is in training right now, so he asked me to walk with you."
"Good afternoon, ladies," a voice said from behind them. Both turned and saw Gin walking up to them. "How are you doing today, Sierra?" he asked, ruffling the young woman's hair. She smiled up at the Shinigami. "Good to hear. Now if you will excuse me, Lord Aizen needs to see me, Espada included."
"I'll see you later, Sierra," Tia said, following the man.
Sierra nodded in response as she walked off towards her room, humming a song. Halfway to her destination, something shot out from the next hall, cutting off Sierra. Her eyes widened as they traveled to the left side of her body. A crescent shaped blade was embedded in her skin. Blood flew from the wound and splattered the area around her. Nnoitra stepped out into the hall with a triumphant grin on his face.
"I win," he said. The Espada pulled back his blade and blood flew from Sierra's mouth as she fell to her knees and then onto her back.
Ulquiorra walked into the hall and froze at the sight before him. His eyes grew wide as he saw Sierra lying on the ground motionless. Grimmjow came from the other end and held then same expression, but his soon turned to anger as he roared, "NNOITRA!" The Sixth Espada shot through the air, catching Nnoitra by surprise. Ulquiorra rushed to Sierra's side whose eyes were vacant.
"Sierra?" the young man spoke in a worried tone. That seemed to snap something in the girl and she looked over at the Espada. She sniffled and coughed up some blood, reaching a shaky had towards him. The cut was long reaching from her left shoulder down to her right hip.
Ulquiorra gripped the bloody hand before scooping up Sierra and rushing off to the meeting room where everyone had been gathering. The Fourth Espada threw open the door and yelled, "Szayel!" Everyone's attention turned to the young man. Gin, Tia, Syazel, and Aizen's expression turned to horror at the sight of Sierra in Ulquiorra's arms. "Help her!"
Sierra was rushed to Szayel's labs and he quickly checked her over. Ten minutes later he turned to the others and said, "It's no good. I can't stop the bleeding." A loud explosion came form down the hall where Grimmjow was still fighting Nnoitra. "We have one option and that is to turn Sierra into an Arrancar. She's weak though, so she might not make the transformation."
"She'll make it," Ulquiorra said.
"Do it," Aizen ordered and Szayel nodded.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The door to Aizen's throne room opened and all of the Espada and Shinigami looked up. Nnoitra walked in with a laid back demeanor. Grimmjow growled from where he sat, clenching his fists, but controlled himself from attacking.
"I see you have healed, Nnoitra," Aizen noted. The man scoffed. "Who knew Grimmjow was that strong." Nnoitra glared at the Sixth Espada who grinned sadistically.
"Is there a reason you called for me?" Nnoitra asked.
"I want to test your power against a new recruit."
"Oh?"
"Yes. You may come out now."
Someone's light footsteps came from the shadows and out stepped a young woman. Nnoitra's eyes grew wide and he stepped back startled. It was Sierra, but she looked different. She wore long white pants like Grimmjow's and a white three-quarter length shirt with sleeves that flared out at the bottom. The front of the shirt was cut open from her neck to just above the breasts. On the left side of her neck was her broken Hollow mask that continued to run partly over the left shoulder.
Nnoitra looked for her weapon but found none. He smirked rushing forward. Sierra raised her hand and caught Nnoitra's blade. His eyes widened along with some of the other Espada. Aizen smirked in approval. Sierra pulled Nnoitra forward a bit before throwing him away.
"Lucky shot!" Nnoitra yelled rushing forward again. Sierra's mouth opened and she began to sing. To everyone else it sounded like her normal song, but to her opponent it made Nnoitra freeze, stuck in her trance. Sierra walked forward slowly, delaying her final attack. Nnoitra began to scream wildly as he tired to get away. Finally, Sierra was right in front of him when she hit her last note. She then kissed his cheek and Nnoitra's eyes rolled back into his head and fell over dead.
Some of the Espada backed up in fear and Aizen began to clap. "Very impressive, Sierra. I name you the Fifth Espada."
Sierra nodded as Szayel led her out, inking the tattoo on her right side under the armpit and ending at the hip.
Ulquiorra was waiting outside the door. "Come with me," the young man said. Sierra followed.
They ended up in his room. Before Ulquiorra spoke Sierra walked forward, catching him in a hug. "Thank you," a light voice whispered. Ulquiorra's eyes widened when he realized the voice belonged to her.
"So you can speak."
"I never said I couldn't," Sierra said looking up at him. "I chose not to because I was a Siren. I don't want to kill anyone by accident, but now I can control it better when I talk."
Ulquiorra's arms wrapped around Sierra's waist. "Do you know how much you scared me?"
"I'm sorry," she whispered as the young man leaned down closer to her. Lightly his lips touched hers. Sierra kissed back.
Ulquiorra then pulled away "You're safe now," he whispered, stroking her head. "I won't let anyone hurt you."
Sierra clung to Ulquiorra tighter. "Thank you," she whispered with a smile.
