"Come on, Kenny!" Yachiru exclaimed excitedly. "We're going to be late!"
Kenpachi grunted in response, standing up. "It's not going to be that bad, Captain," Ikkaku pointed out.
"After all, we're only going to the beach," Yumichika added.
"Do you think Bookworm will be there too?" Yachiru asked, popping up in front of them.
Ikkaku shrugged. "Maybe..." he grumbled.
"Yeahy! That would be so much fun! Right, Kenny!"
"Whatever," Kenpachi grumbled. "Let's just go."
The Eleventh Squad members then walked off to join the other Soul Reapers who were also heading off to the beach.

"I really am sorry, Orihime, but I can't come over today."
"Aw, but why not, Alice?" Orihime whined on her end of the phone. "Everyone is going to be there!"
"Because I have exams to take, remember," Alice said, fiddling with the pencil between her fingers. "I was sick for the last week of school so I have to take my finals in two weeks to get an actual grade."
"Oh yeah... you're doing some summer school work to also catch up, right?"
"Exactly. So that's why I can't go to the beach."
"Fine," Orihime pouted. "Good luck with your studies then."
"Thanks, Orihime. Say hi to everyone, will you?"
"Okay."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
"What?" Yachiru exclaimed, getting in Orihime's face. "Bookworm's not coming!"
"No, she has studying to do," the teen answered, scratching the back of her neck, while sweat dropping.
"But she has to come! Kenny's here too!"
Orihime looked over at the Captain who stood off to the side, appearing bored. She glanced back at the pink haired little girl. "Well, I'm sorry, but Alice isn't coming."
Yachiru pouted, walking back over to her squad members. "What's got you in a bad mood, Lieutenant?" Yumichika asked.
"Bookworm's not coming," Yachiru answered, still pouting.
Ikkaku cocked an eyebrow. "Why is that?" he asked.
"Something about 'studying'." She looked up at Kenpachi. "What are we going to do, Kenny? Now that Bookworm's not here we're not going to have any fun!"
Kenpachi looked down at his Lieutenant. "Well what do you want me to do about it?" he grumbled.

If x=4, and the square root of 64 is 8, which equals z... 4x/zp + 42 =...
There was a knock at the door. "Coming!" Alice called, picking up her book and pencil with one hand, pushing up the glasses on the bridge of her nose with the other.
4(4) = 16... 8p +42 =...?
Alice opened the door to her two-leveled apartment, not looking up at first to see who it was. She was suddenly tackled to the ground, book and pencil flying from her hand, glasses obscured on her face. Alice blinked a few times, looking up at the ceiling in wonder. "What the...?" she breathed.
"Bookworm!" Yachiru exclaimed, sitting up and looking at Alice.
"Yachiru?" the teen questioned, slightly sitting up and readjusting her glasses. "What...? What are you doing here?"
"We came here to get you, silly!" she giggled.
Alice cocked an eyebrow. "We?"
A shadow cast over the two and they looked up to find Kenpachi standing in the doorway. "See Kenny! I told you we'd find her!"
Kenpachi snorted, rolling his eyes. He then bent down, helping Alice stand on her feet again. "What are you two doing here?" the student asked, grabbing her book and pencil from the floor. "Aren't you supposed to be in the Soul Society?"
Alice was best friends' with Orihime. When Ichigo gained his Soul Reaper powers she was dragged into everything. She could see souls, Hollows, and Soul Reapers since she was a little girl. Yoruichi found her, however, Alice did not have any powers like the rest of her friends. She had her brain, one that rivaled Toushiro Hitsugaya and Mayuri Kurotsuchi. Skilled with planning tactics, thinking of all possible outcomes in situations, and out smarting almost everyone when put to the challenge, Alice was not to be messed with or questioned.
She met Kenpachi and Yachiru when she was running through the Soul Society, a Ryoka, lost. Alice ran out from behind a corner when Kenpachi's hand shot out of nowhere, catching her by the back of her shirt. "Hey!" she had yelled, kicking and flailing about.
"What the hell do we have here?" Kenpachi had asked, turning the girl around so he could see her. Alice glared at the Captain. "A Ryoka?" He grinned widely. "Well, this must be my lucky day, though you don't look like much in fighting standers." He looked her up and down; smirk growing larger.
Alice's face turned red in anger and embarrassment, and she slapped the large man across the face. "Put me down!" she ordered, pointing a finger in his face. Kenpachi looked back at Alice, a shocked look on his face. "Now!" she added.
A grin came to his lips. "You're feisty, aren't you?" he asked. "It takes guts to slap a Captain."
Alice's eyebrow twitched in realization. They continued to stare at each other. Shit! He's gonna kill me now!
Not able to curb her tongue, since all Kenpachi would do was stare at her, Alice snapped, "Well, what are you going to do? Stare at me all day with that stupid grin?"
Yachiru popped up on Kenpachi's shoulder. "Wow, Kenny, she has a mouth!" she exclaimed with a giggle.
A kid?
"I should turn you over to the Head Captain," Kenpachi said, ignoring the child.
"But if you do that, then you won't find the others," Alice countered, thinking fast.
Kenpachi cocked an eyebrow. "Oh? And you're going to tell me?"
"Well, I don't know exactly where they went since we were separated..." Alice said, thinking about it. "But I could give you a hint in their general direction."
Kenpachi grinned wider. "You like to play games?"
"Mind games. How about you tell me what you know and I'll tell you what I know. Deal?"
"Deal," he answered. "You're going to be fun having around."
Alice was held captive by Kenpachi and Yachiru as they searched through the Soul Society for her other friends. They met up with Ichigo along the way. Alice was told to run away by Yachiru when Ichigo and Kenpachi passed out from their battle. It was then that she ran into Toushiro Hitsugaya.
Being held captive by the kid-looking Captain in his office the two sat facing each other in a staring contest. Then the two began to throw questions back and forth, trying to see what they both knew. "You're smart."
"You're not too dumb yourself, Captain," Alice answered with a smirk.
At the battle on the hill, Alice ran to the top after Toushiro and Rangiku disappeared somewhere. She stared over the crowd of Soul Reapers and the enemies. "Hollows!" she yelled and everyone turned to look at her. "Hollows!" she yelled again, pointing up to the sky right before the yellow beams came down.
"How did she know that?" Ukitake asked when everything had settled down. He looked over along with the other Captains as Yachiru ran over to Alice and caught her in a hug around the neck. Kenpachi then walked up as well, looking down at her.
"Everything okay?" Kenpachi asked.
Alice looked up at him. "I should be asking you that, shouldn't I?" Alice answered, making the Captain smirk.
When Aizen went to Hueco Mundo he captured Orihime and Alice a few months later. Aizen wanted Alice's brain to help plan for the up coming invasion. Kenpachi and Yachiru were all to eager to go after her. The day the Captains' came to Hueco Mundo Alice said no, not giving him any information on how to take down Ichigo Kurosaki and try to find out his weaknesses, as well as easy targets in Karakura Town. He slapped her, making the teen stumble backwards, cheek hitting the corner of a table. The impact knocked her out instantly and Aizen left her lying on the floor.
"... lice... ice... Alice! ALICE!"
Her eyes fluttered open and she found herself looking up at Kenpachi. "...wah... four... of you..." she muttered out, eyes trying to focus.
"Are you okay?" he asked in a worried voice.
"My... brain is... scrambled..." Alice breathed.
Yachiru popped up in her face. "Wow, Bookworm, what happened to your face?" she asked.
"Wah...?" she asked, still dazed. Alice slowly reached up, touching her cheek. She winced, hissing at the pain that coursed through the skin.
Kenpachi lightly took her hand in his, pulling it away. "You're going to have to be looked at by Unohana," he relayed.
"Aizen..."
"Gone. To Karakura Town. We're stuck here until we can get out." His gaze hardened. "What did Aizen do to you?"
"Don't... remember..." her eyes grew lazy again, not focusing.
"Hey... Hey! Look at me," he ordered, seeing her about to go under again. "What do you see?"
"Spots... you... where am I?"
Kenpachi growled, scooping Alice off the ground bridal style. Her head lolled back, unable to hold it up right. "I'm going to help you, Alice."
"Okay..." she moaned.
When they found the others Unohana was gone, but Orihime was present. She healed Alice's scattered brain and the large black and blue bruise and cut on her cheek.
After that incident Alice got many visits from Kenpachi and Yachiru in the World of the Living.
"We got invited to go to the beach," Yachiru answered. "Then we heard you weren't coming, Bookworm. Why was that?"
"I have tests to study for that I missed a few weeks ago."
"Can't you come?" Yachiru whined. "Please!" she then begged, giving Alice the puppy eyes.
"Ugh!" the girl exclaimed, rolling her eyes. However, there was a small smile on her lips. "Fine!"
"Yeahy!" Yachiru exclaimed. Alice swore she saw a smile tug at Kenpachi's lips.
"Just give me fifteen minutes, okay?" Alice then disappeared upstairs, setting her book and pencil on the table before hand.
Kenpachi leaned against the doorframe to the living room, Yachiru plopping herself down on the couch. "This is going to be so much fun, right, Kenny?" Yachiru asked excitedly.
"Sure," Kenpachi answered, looking around the room. He saw pictures of Alice with her friends lining the top of a bookcase, along with more on a side table next to the couch. When he heard Alice walking down the stairs he looked up to find her in a white sundress that reached her knees, white flip-flops on her feet. She had her hair pinned back in a ponytail, a towel thrown over a shoulder. Her glasses were gone, replaced by eye contacts.
"Ready?" she asked them.
"Yeah!" Yachiru exclaimed, jumping up on Kenpachi's shoulder. "Let's go, Kenny!"
He reached over, wrapping his arm around Alice's knees, her butt sitting on his arm. The teen wrapped both arms around Kenpachi's neck before he flash stepped to the beach.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I didn't think you were coming!" Orihime exclaimed with a grin on her face when the three arrived.
"You could say I was suckered into it," Alice answered when Kenpachi set her down. "Yachiru gave me the puppy eyes."
"Come on, Bookworm!" Yachiru exclaimed, grabbing the girl's hand and pulling her to the water.
Alice laughed. "Yachiru, wait!" She slipped away from the Lieutenant's grip, throwing down her towel and pulling her dress over her head. Alice revealed herself wearing a black bikini with a white cherry blossom design on the left boob, five clumped together on the right side of her bottoms. She then kicked off her flip-flops before running after Yachiru. Kenpachi had to admit to himself that she was stunning.
"Are you going to join them?" Kenpachi looked over to see Orihime and Ichigo standing beside him. The busty teen looked up at him. "Because Alice would really enjoy it."
He looked back over at the water to see Yachiru and Alice playing along with other Soul Reapers. "Kenny, come on!" Yachiru yelled.
Alice laughed before a wave crashed into her, pushing her over. She resurfaced, blinking the water from her eyes. Suddenly, Alice was lifted off her feet, and throw over someone's shoulder.
"Hey-!" she exclaimed, looking over to find Kenpachi holding her up. He had striped from his shirt, wearing black swim trunks. "Kenpachi!" she laughed, pounding on his back playfully. "Put me down!"
He grinned back. "You asked for it," he answered, dropping her into the water. Alice coughed and sputtered water from her mouth when she resurfaced. She playfully glared daggers at him.
"Oh, you're going to get it now, Kenpachi!" she yelled, splashing water in his direction.
He walked through the water after Alice as she ran in the opposite direction. "Get her, Kenny!" Yachiru cheered after them. Ikkaku and Yumichika chuckled from where they sat on the beach, watching the sight.
Kenpachi grabbed Alice around the waist, pulling her back into his rock hard chest. She laughed, his hand brushing a ticklish spot. A wave came over them, taking them under. Kenpachi surfaced, pulling Alice up with him, her chest now pressed against his.
"Better than studying?" Kenpachi asked her.
Alice smiled up at Kenpachi. "Much better than studying. Thank you for the break."
Kenpachi grinned. "Anytime."

Shakespeare wrote Hamlet... a tragedy between Hamlet and Ophelia. They loved each other, but when Hamlet's father died, everything changed. He was forced to return home from school. During that time his mother remarried her dead husband's brother, for the sake of the Kingdom, was their reason. Hamlet, being told by guards that they had seen his father's ghost, he investigated, thus meeting his father...
A beeping noise came from the background, but Alice didn't hear it.
The dead King told his son that his brother was the cause for his death, from poison. It was then that Hamlet vowed to get revenge for his father. He started to act crazy, making everyone in the castle believe he really had gone insane due to his father's death.
There was some more noise coming from the kitchen, but Alice continued to pay no mind.
Polonius, Ophelia's father, believed the reason for Hamlet going crazy because he had asked his daughter not to see Hamlet anymore. He thought that Hamlet had gone mad for not seeing Ophelia... however, he was wrong.
A bowl of steaming noodles and rice was placed to the right of Alice, who was lying chest down on the floor, literature book opened in front of her. She looked over, pushing up her glasses again. "Still studying?" Kenpachi asked, plopping down next to the student on the floor.
"Yeah," Alice answered, sighing. She pulled the bowl closer, taking a bit of her food. "And thanks for dinner. I didn't even hear the timer go off."
"You looked pretty into your studies."
"Well, I need to pass all of my tests so I can maintain my good grades. After all, I have to go to college next year." Kenpachi grunted, still eating his food.
Alice ate her food in small bites, still reading over the textbooks. Yachiru had already been fed at the beach, Alice placing the child in her bed because she fell asleep coming back. Alice had dressed Yachiru in one of her large T-shirts, while she dressed in a tank top and sweat pants. She managed to dig through some of her father's old clothing, finding long enough sweats and a big enough T-shirt to fit Kenpachi.
Kenpachi leaned over, his left elbow propping himself up next to Alice's left side. He looked over her shoulder at the book she was reading.
"What's that?"
"Well, this is Literature, and that book right there is History. I've already studied Math and Science, so I should be good with those two subjects."
"How about the ones you're studying now?"
"Just reviewing."
Kenpachi's breath tickled Alice's bare left shoulder, before his hand brushed the hair away from her neck. It sent chills down Alice's spine, breaking her train of thought.
Romeo and Juliet's family... God, that feels good- No! Stop it! Focus... fought over and over, so them being together was almost imposs... impossible... Dang it!
Alice's slowly moved her head to look over at Kenpachi, who's breath was still caressing her smooth skin. "Alice..." he breathed before looking at her.
"Yes, Kenpachi?" she whispered back.
He reached up, lightly taking off the glasses, and setting them on the coffee table. Kenpachi came back, leaning in and kissing Alice's cheek softly. She closed her eyes slowly, taking in the feeling of his lips on her skin. His lips then moved over, one his fingers tipping up her face and turning it towards him. Kenpachi looked over Alice's face, her eyes shut. His eyes then landed on her lips; that looked so soft.
"Kenpachi..." she whispered. He didn't answer. "Please kiss me."
Kenpachi didn't hesitate, leaning in and capturing Alice's lips with his. It was soft at first, neither moving. Then Alice was trying to turn herself around, Kenpachi helping her do so. She lay on the floor with Kenpachi over her, as they pressed into the kiss, Alice's hands cupping Kenpachi's cheeks. One of Kenpachi's arms wrapped around Alice's waist, while the other tangled in her hair.
The student's hands traveled down his neck to his chest before moving back up, where her arms circled the neck, pulling him closer. Kenpachi's tongue ran across Alice's bottom lip, asking for access. The hand on her waist traveled up, exposing Alice's toned stomach. It made her gasp, granting Kenpachi access to roam her mouth. She pushed back with her tongue.
They gasped for air before going back in for more. Kenpachi rolled them over, Alice on top. Her legs straddled Kenpachi's hips, hands running down his chest. She felt his muscles through the shirt, wishing to touch his bare skin.
Kenpachi pulled his lips away from Alice's, kissing the cheek that had once been hurt by Aizen. His lips then traveled down to her neck, teeth kneading the skin. Alice groaned softly, not wanting to wake Yachiru. Kenpachi's lips smirked against her skin, kissing her collarbone.
"Alice..."
"Hmm...?"
Kenpachi looked at Alice's face, hand resting on her left cheek, thumb caressing it. Her eyes opened, looking down at him. "I love you." Alice's eyes went wide. "When I first
