"We are having this meeting because we have strayed away from our focus on Dae, but we need to get back.  The best way we can do that is to find Nia." Jin spoke slowly pacing around the room.

You stood between Namjoon and Jimin this meeting.

The previous night you found comfort and trust in Namjoon. As much as he knew Jungkook more, he still gave you solid advice not being subjective to the fact they were friends.

When you made it back to Jungkook's room, he was already back on the couch giving you your space. You guys haven't talked since you left the room. You hated it but it only gave you more reason to think.

Am I even ready for this relationship?

"Y/n." Yoongi quietly called out to you trying to not interrupt Jin.

You looked up at him who gave you a questionable look.  He could tell the distress in your face.

You gently nodded at him forcing a smile.  He raised his eyebrow at you resting back in his seat.

When was he so...caring?  I guess he was never bad, just stepped up when he felt like it.

"We are splitting off into teams!"  Jin said snapping you out of your thoughts.  "You will be searching areas for any clues of Dae or Nia."

You crossed your arms shifting your weight to the side, "Wouldn't we cover more ground alone?  Also, what makes you think that Dae and Nia would be that stupid to get found so that two male vampires could be on their necks."

Jin slowly walked over to you and stood in front of you.

"I can't trust Dae or Nia.  They are trying to get our guards down so they can strike.  I'm not letting that happen again.  You almost died the last time." Jin spoke and your furrowed your eyebrows looking towards the ground.

"Whatever."  You spoke irritated but Jin ignored you.

"I'm going to give you guys areas to search when you guys make your teams.  Be quick."  He said and you stood there nervously.

From the corner of your eye you could see Jungkook approaching you.

He's the last person I want to see right now.

He stood beside you looking down at you.  "Come on. It's me and you."

You looked him up and down.

His dark hair covered his forehead.  He wore a casual black shirt and dark jeans with combat boots.  Seeing him look a bit more rugged compared to his uptight look in a suit was attracting.

You smirked at him deviously hooking arms with Namjoon who was right beside you.

"Actually it's me and Namjoon!"

Jungkook's eyes widened and he glared at Namjoon.  You looked up at Namjoon who was just as shocked as he was.

"Y-Yeah of course."  Namjoon spoke nervously.

Jungkook looked back at you.  "Never knew you two were so close."

You could tell he was confused with a hint of jealousy.  It brought some sort of relief and excitement to you.

"Well, Namjoon is a great guy.  We barely talk.  This is could be our life changing trip to become ultimate besties."  You smirked at him, "I'm sure Taehyung is waiting for you."

Jungkook stayed silent and glared at you.  You knew he was fuming inside.  He was the one making the relationship more difficult than it needed to be.  He was extremely territorial and a bit controlling.  Letting you know what he want you to know.  This was your way of fighting back.

It's what he deserves.

"Namjoon and Y/n.  You too will search the area in and around the mall."  Jin spoke to your too and you both nodded.

"Should I...be concerned?"  Namjoon questioned as you walked around a shop searching for clothes.

"...About?"

"You and Jungkook.  I gave you advice last night, but I don't want to be in the middle of this."  He spoke.

You stopped searching and stood in front of Namjoon.  "You aren't.  I never would've partnered with him or Jin...or Taehyung after the previous day.  The only person that has brought ease to my mind is you right now.  And I do honestly feel like I've never given our friendship a try."

He stared into your eyes with a soft smile, "That does make me glad that you found my words helpful, and I want to be your friend too, but you saw how Jungkook was.  He was clearly mad."

"Jungkook got mad when Jin hugged me.  He's a jealous hypocrite."  You spoke returning to the racks remembering him and Nia.

Namjoon moved closer to you.

"So that means...you knew that and still made him upset..."

"You are reading too much into it!  I just wanted to make him tick.  He's always making my head hurt with his bullshit. When me and him talk or whatever happens, I'll let him know you had nothing to do with it."

The next hour you two spent time looking around for any leads that could bring you closer to Nia or Dae.

You leaned against the railing looking at the floors of the mall below.

"This is stupid.  We won't find anything like this."  You crossed your arms lowering your head.

As expected, they aren't stupid.  Especially if Namjoon is here, they won't even try to make themselves available.

"You have something else in mind then?"  He asked.

Of course you preferred working on your own, but it would be highly impossible to get Namjoon to understand that.  Another part of you wanted to seize the chance to go back to the book store, and have your questions answered.

You shifted your gaze to the side. "You aren't going to like it."

"Shoot."

You sighed and stood up straight, "We all know they are after me.  They would never come out knowing I'm protected like this."

Namjoon's eyes widened, "If you are suggesting to separate, there is no way."

I'm not surprised.

"Listen Namjoon.  I want this whole Dae and Nia situation to just be dealt with.  The more you guys protect me like this, we are just elongating the inevitable."  You tried to sway him but he wasn't phased.

"Y/n.  I can't do that." He spoke unfazed.  "Come on let's go."

He turned and started walking away.

"Namjoon please.  I know my brother better than anyone of you guys.  He's not stupid to make himself known when you guys are attached to my hip."  You pleaded.

He turned to face you once again, "Is this really about Dae and Nia?"

"Not entirely.  I just need to do something, but I have to be alone."  You spoke thinking about the bookstore.  "I can't tell you."

He stared at you for a few moments trying to understand what was so important.

"So was this is the reason why you partnered up with me."  He sighed, "Why do you want me to get in trouble?"

You slowly smiled.  "I'll be fine.  I promise."

"Thirty minutes and we are meeting right back in this very spot."  Namjoon demanded and you nodded.  "They are going to kill me for this."

You started to rush towards the escalator.

I'm going to get my own answers.

You made your way out the mall walking down the street. You walked through the bodies of people finding bookstore from the other day.

You took a deep breath. You pushed the door and entered the bookstore.

It was empty, unlike last time.

Your eyes caught the familiar masculine figure from afar.  He leaned down on the counter smirking at you as if he was expecting you.

"You're back. I didn't expect you back so soon."

You stared at him cautiously. "Yugyeom."

He stood up tall and walked towards you. He passed you and made his way to the entrance of the bookstore.

He placed an "Out for Lunch" sign on the glass door.

"You don't need to do that." You assured him who shook his head.

He turned to face you. "I'm the only one currently working and what we are talking about can't be talked so freely can it?"

You slowly walked deeper into the store towards the counter. You turned to him who was close behind you.

"A vampire in a bookstore? You like reading?" You awkwardly tried to bring about a conversation.

He stared at you for a moment and then started laughing, "I know you have questions. You don't have to hide it."

At least he wasn't being difficult.

You took a deep breath, "Who are you?"

He smirked, "Don't you think that's kind of a broad question?  Who am I?  That could mean anything don't you think?"

His gleeful expression quickly went dull and he lowered his gaze at you.  "You know my name.  Don't you think it's quiet rude that I don't know yours?"

You kept your composure.  One second he was extremely happy, the next second he was serious.  It kind of freaked you out a bit.

Something is off about him.  I need to be careful.

"Why should my name matter?  I just want to know what's going on between you and the guys.  I'm assuming you know them from how you and Taehyung interacted."  You shifted the conversation away from giving him your name but he didn't see too pleased.

He stepped towards you, "You know, I've been extremely kind and patient."

You nervously stepped back as he moved closer.  Your back hit the counter as he stood right in front of you.

Is he trying to intimidate me?

"Are you scared of me?"  He raised his hand moving it towards your face.  You looked down trying to avoid his gaze.  He stopped his hand and dropped it.

"What are you trying to get at?  Why does my name value you?" You looked back into his eyes with a smug look.  His eyes lightened a bit growing more interested in you.

He rested his hands on the sides of you on the counter getting closer to you.  His body lowered over you and your body shuddered under his height.

"Y/n.  You are the orphan who lost her parents to her twin brother."  He spoke and your eyes widened.

He stood up straight tucking your hair behind your ear.  Your eyes nervously shifted around.

I didn't give him my name.  How does he even know?

"How did you—"

He raised a finger to your lips keeping you quiet, "I do my research.  Who was it?  Jungkook?  He told you to stay away from me but you still misbehaved?  He should stop underestimating you."

He spoke in a soft tone.  He moved his hand to your cheek, and you stared up at him feeling mixed emotions.  You were a bit frightened, and his intentions were confusing.

You raised your hand and slapped him across his face.  He dropped his hands to the side and you pushed him off you.

"Okay now I get it.  You have some drama with Jungkook?  You want to use me to get back at him?  I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt thinking you were a decent guy.  But I guess they were right."  You spat at him.

You walked passed him making your way towards the door.

"Are you seriously going to leave so soon without answers?"  He questioned.  "They won't tell you anything you know."

"I'm not listening to you.  I gave you your chance."  You kept walking and he chuckled.

"Y/n."  He called out.  "Don't you want to know about the murder Jungkook committed?"
