"What was that for. You could have killed him!" Worried, Heather walked up to him. "Are you alright?" Hiccup, with his mask still on, didn't move or talk. "Did... something happen?"

"What doesn't he understand about dragons?" Hiccup finally said. "They don't understand how friendly they are" Dagur said, in a boring tone. Dagur was collecting rocks off of the ground.

"That's what I don't understand." Toothless was coming over to where Hiccup was. Hiccup patted Toothless. "They are misunderstood creatures. If I could change his mind about dragons, then maybe he and the rest of berk wouldn't kill them!"

Heather and Dagur looked confused. They made their way to the entrance of the cave.

"Anyways, we're going to head back home" Hiccup looked up at them. "Already?" He asked. "It has already been a year." Once every year, Dagur and Heather go to their island (Berserker Island) for 1  month. It was always risky, everyone asking them where they have been. But now it's just normal. No one asks them anything while they are gone. Dagur's dad (Oswald the Agreeable) was the chief of their Island.

"How time flies  right?" Said Heather. "We will see each other soon enough" Both Dagur and Heather are heading to the entry of the cave. They both looked back and waved goodbye. Hiccup looked at them. Then he smiled. He looked towards Toothless. Toothless was laying down, peacefully.

"I guess it's just you and me again" Hiccup sighed. Toothless looked at him as if he understood what he just said.

"It's about to get dark. C'mon Toothless, it's time to eat." Toothless got up and started heading where Hiccup was at. By the time he got there, Hiccup had already set a basket, filled up with fish. Toothless started to dig in.

After a while, Toothless had finished his lunch. He was now laying down and Hiccup was laying down with him. Hiccup kept on starring at the wall of the cave.

"This is what it feels to be lonely." Then he sighed. He shut his eyes, there was no noise, just silence. The only noise you could hear is a dragon breathing. Peaceful. The only thing you could describe is peaceful. Nothing could possibly go wrong.

The next day, Hiccup had been woken up by Toothless who wanted to take a flight early in the morning.

"Toothless!" He groaned. "Do you always have to wake me up so early in the morning." He said. Toothless was pasting back and forth, waiting for him to get up. Once Hiccup got up, they both went out to the cave and started their day.

As their day began, the first thing they saw was the ruined edge. The burnt huts, the falling buildings coming apart. Hiccup looked carefully looked at it and sighed. The place looked abandoned. Although it was true, it wasn't completely abandoned. There were some torn out ships on shore. Once he was done admiring it, he went on with his day.

A few hours have passed. Hiccup and Toothless had gone on back to the cave. Even though they could go back to the edge, Hiccup decided not to. It was still dangerous. People could still be out there looking for him. Once they got back to the cave, they both decided to take a little break. Since there was nothing to do, the only thing they could do is take a nap.

It was a peaceful day. All the hectic things that had happened the day before were over. Although Hiccup saw his father right in front of him, he had to admit it was nice seeing him. He was still wondering why he made Toothless shoot at him. All he could think about was how disappointing he would be if he found out that behind the mask was him. How would he react? Would he be mad or proud that his son is still alive? Wonders and questions had come up into his brain, but they wouldn't be answered anytime soon.

While everything was fine and chill, there were shadows of people coming into the cave. Hiccup and Toothless were still fast asleep. The shadows came closer by the minute.

"Do you think this is the cave that they are in?" Ask one if the man out breathes.

"This has to be the one." Said another. They both started to get closer. They both peaked around the corner and saw the dragon and the rider fast asleep. Both of them looked at each other and nodded.

"Bring the others in here, this might not take long" Said the first guy. He followed orders and went back outside to get his crew.
