"Another day stuck in this house." Melody groans as she flops onto her bed.

"So have I, I've read a book, played the piano , bothered everyone I can and tried to sneak into the order meeting. Godric I would do anything to be back at the burrow." I rely to her.

"Agreed, it's so boring here." Melody says.

"I wish I had an invisibility cloak then we could and with Molly dragging us to help cleaning all the time." I moan.

"If I wanted to do this job, I would be a house elf like kreacher." Melody says groaning.

Ah yes, kreature, considering he is a servant in this house he is extremely disrespectful, no one here likes him here but they can't let him go he apparently knows too much.

"I hate that thing." I say with disgust, "should go and live in the Avery house, he would love it there."

"Would be very fitting." She replies.

"Yeah." I say shuffling around on my bed.

Fred, George and Jack walk into the room, looking like they've all been having fun all afternoon.

"Godric, you too look miserable." Jack says.

"We are." Melody and I say in unison.

"Should of come to watch us, it was fun." Fred says.

"For you three, yes, but for us it's not that much fun." Melody replies.

"I'm going to see how long dinner is going to be I'm hungry." I say hoping off of my bed.

"Me too." Melody says.

"Guess we will come as well." George says and all five of walk down the multiple fights of stairs.

We walk into the kitchen with some order members sitting there including Remus, Tonks and Bill who was now working at Gringotts and was getting very familiar with Fleur.

I sit at the table in between my dad and Fred, throughout the last couple of weeks my dad had been quite protective over the last couple of weeks, along with showing me some more baby photos that were here along with tapestry, with his face burnt out but with me on the tree. Apparently the tapestry automatically adds family members, even if their parents have been burnt out including myself and Tonks.

"When's dinner going to be, mum?" Fred asks as I lean my head on him slightly, not knowing whether I was tired, bored or hungry at this point.

"About thirty minutes," Molly replies.

"So how's Fleur, Bill?" I ask with a smirk.

"She's good..." he replies back with a small smile, see I knew I was right when I told him he liked her.

"Oooo." Melody chimes in as the parents are all talking.

"She's a lovely girl Bill don't worry." I reply back.

I hear Fred and George talking in whispers next to each other about their joke shop products including fever fudge, the skiving snacks boxes and all the other products they were developing, this helped with the money that Harry gave them and they were going to start selling once we go back in September.

I see Tonks opposite the table showing Melody different faces she can do, I always found it funny. I sat in deep thought whilst everyone else at the table was talking. As much as I try not to think about Cedric's death and that there is more deaths to come and that the people I love are going to get hurt or die.

"Y/n?" My dad says next to me, "are you okay?"

"Yeah, just thinking." I say with a small smile.

"I know that face your mother used to pull it when she was worried." He tells me.

"I'm fine, stop worrying about me." I tell him.

"All he does is worry about you." Remus tells me.

"Yeah I know." I say with a smile.

"How can I not worry about my only daughter? I know she can take care of her self but I will always worry." My dad says.

Although most people saw Sirius Black as a cold hearted killer, he was the kindest, funniest man that some of us knew.

"You always have, since the day you found out you were going to be a dad you were already protective, well we all were." Remus tells the table, I loved hearing the stories about me as a child and my extended family.

"By the sounds of it she doesn't need to be looked after." Anna, jacks mum, tells the table.

"That's true y/n is a badass." Jack says.

Seeing the bond that Jack and Anna had was lovely, Jack seemed more like his mother than his father, who was a little more reserved then his wife and son.

"Why thank you." I say with a small laugh.

"Although I don't know who worries about y/n more, Fred or Sirius because it seems like you compete who is more protective." Melody says.

"We don't." Fred and my dad say at the same time.

"You do, it's kind of cute." I say, the both have matching stroppy faces on, they are more similar then they would like to think.

"Molly do you need help with anything?" I ask.

"No dear, you are okay thank you." She replies as she carries on making dinner for us all.

"Does anyone know how Harry is?" Jack asks, the room goes a little tense like they aren't telling us something.

"No." My dad quickly replies.

"I still think we should be able to write to him just have no return address and say it's for his own good, and we could send it in those post box things." I say.

"Right kids let's stop talking about this." Beth Melody's mum tells us.

"We are all of age why can't we know or join this order?" Melody questions.

"Because we don't want you to get hurt." Beth argues back.

"You all literally done the same thing at our age." I say.

"And look where it got some of us." My dad says.

"You can't really stop us now can you?" I question giving him a look.

"We can. Now can we stop talking about this." Molly says from the other side of the kitchen and I knew better than to argue with her.

"I'm going to my room, anyone else coming?" I ask as I leave the table apparating into my room soon behind fellowed Fred by himself.

"No one else wanted to come up?" I ask him as I sit on the bed.

"No, I wanted to make sure you are okay. I know it's frustrating, we are of age now and you want to help in anyway you can but your dad does have a point. Look what happened to Lily and James along with other order members including your mum." He tells me.

"I know Fred, but I don't want to live in fear for the rest of my life and watch more people I love die knowing I can do something about it!" I say emotionally. "What if I loose my dad or you? Or both of you? Or anyone else I love, I don't want that to happen." I say trying my best not to cry.

"Your not going to loose anyone else, especially me," he says pulling me into a hug. "I promise you okay?." He says pulling away from the hug, putting his hands on my shoulders and looking me in the eyes.

"You better I love you too much." I say with a tear falling down my cheek.

"I love you too, I always will." He tells me pulling me back into the hug.

My worst fear is loosing more people I love but it's going to happen it's inevitable no matter the promises.

It was now the 2nd of August and an emergency order meeting was currently being held. The boys were in Fred, George's and jacks room and us girls were talking.

"So what do we think has happened?" Ginny asks.

"It's got to have something to do with Harry, right?" I ask.

"Hopefully not but I have a feeling it does." Hermione says.

"They've  not had emergency meetings like this before, they are always somewhat planned, so I'm thinking something has happened to him." Melody says.

"Maybe the Ministry are trying to get rid of him? Considering they are saying him and Dumbledore are lying about Voldemort's return, I wouldn't put it past them to be a little slippery. Hopefully they'll tell us." I say.

"It could be the Ministry and I wouldn't be surprised, they would want to shut anything down quickly." Melody replies.

"It's simply barbaric the things they are saying in the Daily Prophet, but then again what can you expect from a hag like Rita Skeeter. However, I can see the ministry interfering in anyway they can." Hermione says.

"I hope whatever has happened it's not too bad, I couldn't imagine what could be happening right now." Ginny tells us three as we sit waiting to hear some movement from the kitchen.

"I don't know let's see if they tell us." I say.

After sitting taking in light conversation for another ten minutes, we hear movement from down the stairs.

"The meeting must of finished." I say and jumping up we run down the stairs.

"What happened?" I ask my dad.

"Harry has been expelled from Hogwarts." He tells us.

"WHAT!" We shout in unison.

"There was a dementor attack and he used his wand which alerted the Ministry and with everything going on they probably saw it as the perfect opportunity to expel him." My dad says.

"Sirius we shouldn't tell them too much..." Molly says, from behind him.

"His probably going to tell us anyway." I reply in the nicest way possible.

As much as I loved Molly with her protective and loving streak it could sometimes be overbearing.

"So what's going to happen with him then?" Ginny asks.

"We can't tell you that right now." Anna says, "you should all go up stairs for a bit whilst we sort dinner out."

Without protest we walk up the stairs and I walk into the large dinning room that was barely used, which held a piano in it. I sat on the stool and started playing familiar songs that I know from memory.

I hear someone walk into the room, looking around without messing up and it was Fred.

"You play the piano so beautifully." He tells me pulling up a chair and sitting next to me.

"Thank you, how's all the joke shop stuff going?" I ask him finishing the song.

"It's going good, we have put an ad in the Daily Prophet-" he starts saying.

"I'm sorry what?" I ask interrupting him. "You think that's wise?" Knowing the Molly used to read the Prophet and could pick a copy up.

"Yeah, mum doesn't read it anymore and it's good for business and yes I know you don't like them, but they are aren't involved with anything." He tells me.

"Good." I say looking at him, "I miss your long hair, it was sexy." I say running my fingers through his short ginger locks.

"So I'm not sexy anymore?" He asks, pretending to be offended.

"I'm not saying that." I laugh, "you are always sexy to me." I say.

"I should hope so I am your boyfriend." He says pecking my forehead.

Throughout the next couple of days we do the usual daily routine we had all adapted to. With the news about Harry, there were more order meetings then ever. Some of the order members were going to collect Harry from his aunt and uncles house tonight including Remus, Tonks, Mad-Eye and Kingsley.

Jack, Melody, Fred, George and myself are sitting in the boys room and we hear Harry shouting from the floor below so we all decide to apparate down.

"Stop doing that!" Hermione told the five of us.

"Hello, Harry, we thought we heard your dulcet tones." George said.

"You don't want to bottle up your anger like that, Harry, let it all out," Fred said smiling at him, "there might be a couple of people fifty miles away who didn't hear you." I smack his arm lightly.

"You five passed your Apparation tests then?" Harry asked.

"With distinction." I say, pulling Harry into a quick hug.

"It would have taken you about thirty seconds longer to walk down the stairs," Ron said.

"Time is Galleons little brother. Anyway, Harry, you're interfering with reception.  Extendable Ears." Fred said holding them up and Harry looked at them confused. "We are trying to hear what is going on downstairs."

"You want to be careful, if mum sees one of them again..." Ron says, staring at the ear.

"It's worth the risk, that's a major meeting they are having." Jack says.

"Yeah, we want to know, even though we are of age now, we still aren't aloud in the meetings because we are 'too young.'" Melody says as Ginny walks through the door.

"Hello, Harry, I though I heard your voice." She says smiling at him, she then turns to the twins, "it's a no go with the extendable ears, she's gone and put an imperturbable charm on the kitchen door."

"How do you know?" George asks confused.

"Tonks told me how to find out. You just Chuck stuff at the door and if it can't make contacts the doors been imperturbed, I've been flicking dungbombs as it from the top of the stairs and they just soar away from it, so there's no way the extendable ears will be able to get under the gap." Ginny tells us, and we sigh.

"Shame, I really fancied finding out what old Snape's been up to." Fred says.

"Snape? Is he here?" Harry asked.

"Yeah," said George, "giving a report, top secret."

"Git." Jack says.

"He's on our side now." Hermione said.

"Doesn't stop him being a guy. The way he looks at us when he sees us." Ron snorts.

"Keeping up appearances I suppose." I say before Ginny starts talking.

"Bill doesn't like him, either." Ginny said.

"Is Bill here?" Harry asked, a little confused. "I though he was working in Egypt?"

"He applied for a desk job so he could come home and work for the Order, he says he misses the tombs, but, there are compensations." Fred says with a smirk on his face.

"What do you mean?" Harry asked.

"Remember old Fleur Delacour? She's got a job at Gringotts to improve her English." George said and he along with Fred and Jack giggle lightly.

"Yeah been giving her lots of private lessons, hasn't he?" Jack says and the three boys chuckle again.

"Charlie's in the Order, too, but he's still in Romania. Dumbledore wants as many foreign wizards brought in as possible. So Charlie is trying to make contacts on his days off." George tells him, as I lean my head on Fred.

"Couldn't Percy do that?" Harry asked, and as soon as he did we all tensed up. We haven't talked about Percy in weeks, it is a very difficult conversation to have.

"Whatever you do m, don't mention Percy in front of Molly and Arthur." I say quickly in a tense tone.

"Why not?" Harry asks.

"Because every time Percy's name is mentioned, Dad breaks whatever he's holding and mum starts crying." Fred says, matching my tense tone.

"It's been awful." Ginny said sadly.

"What's happened?" Harry asked.

"Percy and dad had a row, I've never seen dad row with anyone like that before. It's normally mum who shouts at people like that." Fred says and it was true the argument was very explosive between the two.

"It was the first week back after term ended we was at home and Percy came back from work and said he had been promoted." George said and Harry pulled a face.

"You're kidding." Harry says, surprised.

"Yeah, we were all surprised, because Percy got into a load of trouble about Crouch, there was an inquiry and everything. They said Percy ought to have realised Crouch was off his rocker and informed a superior. But you know Percy, Crouch left him in charge, he wasn't going to complain." George said.

"Yeah, he likes being in charge and bossy, basically his whole personality." I say.

"So how come they promoted him?" Harry asks, looking just as confused as we all was at the time.

"That's exactly what we wondered." Melody says. "Especially after everything that had happened."

"Yeah, he came home really pleased with himself, even more than usual, if you can imagine that." Ron said, and I could reimagine the moment that it happened. "He then told dad he had been offered a position in Fudges own office. A really good one for someone only a year out of Hogwarts; junior assistant to the Minister and he expected dad to be impressed."

"But he wasn't." I say.

"Why not?" Harry asks slightly confused.

"Well, apparently Fudge has been storming around the Ministry checking nobody has had any contact with Dumbledore." George said.

"Dumbledores name is mud with the Ministry these days." I start saying, "they think he is just making trouble saying vol- you know who is back." I sometimes forget that these guys weren't brought up calling him by his actual name.

"Dad says Fudge has made it clear that anyone who is in contact with Dumbledore can clean out their desks." George said.

"Trouble is Fudge suspects dad, he knows he is friendly with Dumbledore, and he's always thought dad is a bit of a weirdo because of his muggle obsession." Fred says.

"But what's that got to do with Percy?" Harry's asks.

"We are getting to that. Arthur reckons Fudge only wants Percy in his office because he wants to use him to spy on the family and Dumbledore." I say.

Harry let's out a surprised whistle. "Bet Percy loved that."

"Well, he went completely berserk. He said, well lots of terrible things. He said he's been having to struggle against dads lousy reputation ever since he joined the Ministry and that dads got no ambition and that's why we've always been - you know - not had a lot of money." Ron said, honestly when we heard Percy say those things to his own dad it was like a stab in the back for the whole family.

"What?" Harry said in disbelief.

"I know, and it got worse." Ron said, "he said dad was an idiot to run around with Dumbledore, that Dumbledore was heading for was heading for big trouble and dad was going to go down with him. Then Percy said he knew where his loyalty lies, with the Ministry. And if mum and dad were going to become traitors to the Ministry he was going to make sure everyone knew he didn't belong in our family anymore. So he packed his bags then moved out and is now living in London."

"Molly has been in a tight state, crying and all the other stuff." I say tensely.

"Yeah, mum, went up to London to try and talk to him but he just slammed the door in her face." George said.

"But Percy must know Voldemort is back, he's not stupid, he must know your mum and dad wouldn't risk everything without proof." Harry says, with everyone else but me flinching when he says Voldemort.

"Yeah, well, your name got dragged into the row," Ron said. "Percy said the only evidence was your word and he didn't think it was... good enough."

"Percy takes the Daily Prophet very seriously," Hermione said and we all nod in agreement, he liked to bring it up like it was a reliable source of information.

"What are you talking about?" Harry says.

"Haven't you been reading the Daily Prophet?" Melody asks nervously.

"Yeah, I have." Harry replies.

"Are you sure? Have you read through it?" I ask as he doesn't seem like he knows much.

"Not cover to cover! If they were going to say anything about Voldemort it would be headline news wouldn't it?" He asks. Once again everyone else shuddered but us two.

"Well you would need to read it cover to pick it up, but they um, they mention you a couple of times a week." Hermione says.

"But I'd have seen-" Harry starts saying.

"Not if you've only been reading the front page, you wouldn't." Melody interrupts.

"Yeah, they don't stick you on the front, they just through you in here and there, it's like you are a joke." Jack says.

"It's quite nasty actually, they are just building on Rita's stuff." Hermione said in an uneasy voice.

"Sorry to cut this short but Melody and myself have some things to do," I embrace Harry into a quick hug. "See you all in a bit."

Melody and I apparate up to our room.

"You think it's the best to do it now." I say.

"Yeah, right I've got it here." She says holding the test that was stashed in her drawer. "Are
