"Where are we going?" I asked Tyler once we were in his car.

"Well," he started, smiling. "First, we are going to have breakfast at a nice café on the beach."

I looked over at him with wide eyes. "I love the beach!" I said, excited.

"Oh really? I didn't know," he laughed.

I rolled my eyes at his comment.

"Then what?"

"Then you'll see," he smirked, making me sigh and think of possible places he could take me.

We could go to the mall, but there is nothing exciting to do there. I don't think Tyler likes shopping that much so he would take me to the mall.

But if we go to the beach for breakfast, maybe we are going swimming too? Nah, I haven't brought a swimsuit. He would have told me to bring one if he wanted us to go swimming, right?

Ugh, maybe I should just wait and see.

By the time we reached the beach, it was already twelve o'clock. Not because it was far away from my house, but because Tyler took his time driving, stopping for gas, getting in a small shop to buy each one of us a pair of sunglasses,... I thought that maybe he was doing it on purpose, but the thought quickly left my mind.

"We were supposed to eat breakfast, not lunch," I said while walking inside a café-restaurant.

Tyler smiled sheepisly, but didn't say anything.

We sat down in a booth at the back of the room and looked at the menu. It was simple and the food they served was not so expensive.

"Good day," a young man came towards us. "What can I bring you?" he said, looking between Tyler and I.

I looked at Tyler. I really didn't know what to get. What do people get for breakfast/lunch at twelve? He could order for both of us.

"We want two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, the giga size, two soft cookies and two chocolate milkshakes," he winked at me.

The man nodded and left towards the kitchen.

"You are going to make me fat," I complained. Honestly, I had already gained some weight since the day I met him. Most of our dates included food. Not that I don't like it, but still.

"Pft, so? You will be beautiful whatever size you are," he smiled at me.

"Sometimes I miss your bad@ss self," I said dreamily.

"Was I being cheesy again?" he asked holding his head in his hands.

"Do you ever stop?" I laughed.

"It's not my fault! You bring out the romantic side of me."

Our food came and we ate in silence. After paying, we went on a walk at the beach.

Tyler took my hand and I looked at him, smiling. He closed his eyes and kissed the back of my hand.

I turned around and looked at him in the eyes. Slowly, I reached his cheek and rubbed it with my thumb. We leaned closer and kissed.

"You are all I need," I told him smiling. "I'll never let you go."

His eyes lit up. I touched his chest with both of my hands and he hugged me. I put my head on his chest and we stayed like that for some time, enjoying each other's presence.

"I love you," he whispered.

"I love you too," I whispered back.

.......

Around four o'clock we went to the funfair. The one we went on our first date.

We went on almost every ride, got corndogs, and then played some games.

"Why don't you try playing too?" Tyler asked, handing me some money and we headed to a stall with archery.

All you had to do was to pop all four balloons that were placed on the target, with three shoots.

I took my little bow and arrow and shoot. I popped two of the four balloons together.

"Nice one," the girl from the stall told me.

"Oh, hey! You are the girl from the game with the ping pong balls," I told her.

She nodded and handed me two arrow. "You have two more shoots," she said smiling.

I shoot two times and popped all of the balloons.

"Yay!" Tyler cheered, crashing me in a hug.

"It was a game for little children. Anyone can win," I laughed shaking my head, but hugged him back.

"Here's your prize," the girl gave me a little teddy bear with a red bow around its neck, and winked.

Looking closer, I noticed a small pink
heart-shaped box attached to it.

I looked at Tyler and he smirked.

He took it off the teddy bear and kneeled down on one knee.
