"I don't know why you put up with it!" He barked furiously, starting to pace.Elle shrugged meekly. "They're my family"-"Bullshit!" He snapped coming to a halt. "Family doesn't treat family the way they treat you. You're their personal and unpaid maid! They treat you like Cinderella! ""And do you want me to do about it?!" Elle snapped back, her frustration rising. "Sneak away in a magical carriage like she did so I can find my Prince Charming who'll rescue me? My life isn't some sort of different kind of Cinderella story!""You're right. You're not Cinderella. You wanna know why?"She rolled her eyes. "Enlighten me."He glared meaningfully at her. "Cinderella was brave..." Elle glared right back. "Brave? Brave! How the hell was a girl who was an 'unpaid maid' brave?! All she did wait till her Prince came to rescue her!""That's where you're wrong," he said stepping closer. "She may have waited but she only waited for so long. She went out and got a taste of the life she wanted despite her family's orders. She came down and met the Prince even when she was locked away. She took a chance...a chance I can see you're too afraid to.""I am not afraid to take a chance," Elle practically growled."Prove it."She crossed her arms defiantly. Then, something strange happened in that moment. Her face changed -- no that's not quite the word; it flickered, her blonde hair turned to blonde and matted dread locks with particles and ornaments weaved within them. Her nose nearly outgrew her own face and was covered in disgusting toad-like warts. The top of her black hood suddenly pointed even more and looked like a pointed black hat. I almost screamed. She was so ugly....Jesse was your typical high school jock. Star quarterback, flawless record, chicks at his feet and a dad with so much money he could about buy the world. Oh yea. Jesse is a king. That is until a mysterious "witch" comes to the school and teaches him not to judge or be rude to another being again, unless He's walked a mile in her. .... shoes?…
