There it was again, you were having the intense migraines since the incident of getting attacked, the bandage around your head helps but it was still painful,

Passing by one of the doors, you then entered one of them, making the occupant jump suddenly with the force of your action due to not being able to open your eyes properly caused by the migraine.

"(NAME)! " Solaria hissed, holding his chest as he heaved, the audible sound of pen dropping followed, "you scared me, holy shit, knock for eff's sake" he said as he sighed

Oh, so you also forgot to knock

"Sorry, sorry, I just ah.. You know, stuff" you explained as if that would even straighten out the reason of your blunt harshness to the door that metaphorically wailed as it hit the wall and back to you,

"Sorry" you said as you stared at the cement that now had a small crack on it and closed the door properly, your migraine calming down more as the dim lighting of you and your co worker's shared office blocked out any annoying light

Solaria eyed the small crack in the wall with a mixture of annoyance and amusement before shaking his head. "I'm more concerned about your strength, but I'll let it slide," he remarked dryly without a lift from his lips, picking up the pen he had dropped when you startled him.

"Hey," you murmured, feeling the tension in the air.

"Hey...?" Solaria raised an eyebrow, waiting for you to continue.

As the silence followed the ravenette sighed "get to the point (name)..."

Realizing your lack of clarity, you cleared your throat. "I'm here to remind you about... you know, your task," you said, trying to steer the conversation back on track.

"Task? What task? " he blinked at you as you then grimaced

You hesitated, the migraine pulsing behind your eyes making it difficult to concentrate. "The test sub-" you began, only to be interrupted, Solaria's expression shifted to one of irritation as you were cut off by his colorful curse as he slammed his head onto the table with an audible crack.

"Aria!" you scolded him, concerned about his well-being.

"Sorry sorry, I regret it" he groaned and rubbed his head that felt extremely sore, a tear at the corner of his eye

"It won't be that bad, promise. Just give them a quick bath, just a hair wash, nothing too... intense," you reassured him, trying to alleviate his stress.

"Intense? " Solaria gave a look, "you suck at assuring"

Rolling your eyes you cursed at him "oh Frick you"

This time, he cracked a smirk "yeah, yeah, I'll see you later [nickname] "

Then you did too,
"Yeah, would, take care" you greeted away as he passed by you and left the office.

Glancing at your worktable, one of your many worktables, and the amount of work you'd have to do, like many other unfinished ones, you had set to work finally.

Later on

You were typing notes onto your computer screen after a few minutes, stretching a little as you cracked your back, pondering

"Maybe I should check on Raven" you murmured to yourself, it's not that you don't trust him, you just want to make sure that Bunny man didn't have some split fake persona and went ballistic with no one looking

Anyway, you went down to the elevator, and pressed to the underground floors, right where the rest subjects are taken to usually

Your gut was churning again at the thought

These poor people... You can't do anything really...

That was when you walked down to the blue themed doors, crossing a very long hallway and to this metal door, sliding your ID on the scanner as the door slid open

The room was dimly lit, casting shadows across the figure of your friend as he worked diligently. His hair was tied back in a neat bun, a face mask covering his features as he focused on his task. His sleeves were rolled up to his elbows, revealing intricate stitch patterns on his puppet-like arms.

"Knock," he said, his voice muffled by the mask.

"Sorry," you apologized, stepping into the room. "Why are you wearing a mask?"

"Protocol, I guess. That's what the boss said," he replied with a shrug, continuing his work without missing a beat, hand brushing against the other's hair in a smooth motion

You glanced around the room, taking in the scene before you. Aqua was submerged in what appeared to be a tub, his clothes soaking in the water. Your friend was carefully tending to him, the grays of Aqua's hair fading under his expert care, reminding you of the fact that solaria is an expert at that area due to him having long hair too before he had stopped really taking care of himself.

(Something like this)

Solaria's eyes glinted slightly in the dim light as he observed the bunny, a thoughtful expression crossing his face. "He's gentle, huh... very calm," Solaria remarked, his voice soft as he glanced back at you.

"Solaria, why is it so dim in here?" you asked, noticing the subdued lighting

Solaria glanced up from his task of carefully untangling the bunny's hair, a thoughtful expression on his face. "Oh, that's because it- eh...he doesn't like bright lights," he explained, his voice soft as he continued his work. "It seems to calm him down and make him feel more comfortable." He trailed off

"Since you know... This may be the last time he could be comfortable... "

The bunny, his back turned to Solaria, seemed to sense the ravenette's gaze. With a twitch of his ear, he turned his head up slightly, meeting Solaria's gaze with his one visible eye peeking out from under his hair.

"Well, seems well. I'll leave that to you," you said, offering a small wave of your hand. As you turned to leave, the sound of water shifting caught your attention. The bunny hybrid waved back at you, prompting a chuckle from Solaria. "Yeah, I'll... maybe we'll see you later," Solaria added, his tone lighter than before.

Later on

You finished some work and was about to give them to one of the workers for some things they'll need to inspect, you left your office later on, when you spotted Solaria hurrying down the hallway. "Aria!" you called out, but when he turned to look at you, his expression seemed oddly alarmed. He wore a new shirt, but there was something different about his face. It was as if there was some kind of... thing on his cheeks.

"Are you okay?" you asked, concern creeping into your voice as you approached him.

"Uh, yeah, I, uh, just finished my task," Solaria stuttered, his eyes blinking rapidly. He stumbled over his words, clearly flustered, and you couldn't help but notice the deep blush creeping up on his cheeks.

"Are you sure you're okay?" you asked again, eyebrows furrowing with concern.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine," Solaria mumbled, hastily making his escape with a couple of stumbling steps. As he hurried away, you couldn't shake the feeling that something unusual had just happened, and you were left wondering what could have possibly caused Solaria's sudden embarrassment.

"What the hell happened" you said our loud and thought to yourself at the same time
