She'd been staring at him. Gon noticed the glances, the long-period of staring, and even flinching. Yet, he didn't know why. Whenever he tried to address this to her, she'd make excuses to leave, only further more leaving him with questions.

The boy knew Killua noticed, yet Killua thought nothing of it. He claimed she was still upset about not being able to go along with them on their trip. But he was determined this time. He would get her to speak, no matter how much she wished to dodge him. He'd force it out of her if he had too. Speaking of which..

"(Name)-chan."

The green-clad Hunter saw the girl's frame freeze, a worry pulled at his brow. She just returned from getting goods per Bisky's request, as they had to eat before training again. What was she so..scared of? He wanted answers, and he wanted them now.

"Er.. Gon! Shouldn't you be training to beat Knuckle and Shoot..?"

They had to pass them in order to go, and (Name) wasn't fighting them. It'd had to be just Gon and Killua. If you asked him, she seemed to accept not going with them on the trip. Shaking his head, the boy spoken, watching as the girl nervously shuffled.

"Nu-uh. Bisky wanted to hold off training for a bit today."

"O-oh.. That's, uh, nice.."

"(Name)-chan, I-"

"I gotta go, Gon. See you-"

She wouldn't look at him. She shuffled quickly across the room, trying to avoid the Freecss. He was hurt by her action, but moved faster. He'd never know why this way. His hand grasped on her bare wrist, halting her. Her eyes would widen, but her gaze was on the ground. She didn't look at him. She wouldn't look at him.

"(Name)-chan.. We need to talk."

The (Hair Color) girl didn't respond, turning her head away from his piercing gaze. But Gon was more stubborn. His grasp grew tighter, squeezing her hand. It wasn't enough to hurt, but it was a clearly read plea.

"..W-what about?"

Her voice had dipped low and small, nothing like the girl he knew. She wouldn't hesitate in speaking her mind, and was quite confident. But now, she seemed so meek and helpless.. He had an urge to wrap her in his arms, and never let her go. Allow her to feel all his warmth, love and happiness, eager to share with her and only her.

...But he couldn't do that. Not when she's locked him out so abruptly.

"You haven't been your normal self, (Name). And.. I don't like it."

It was noted that he didn't add anything to her name, meaning he was serious. When she still wouldn't look he sighed, letting her go. To his surprise, she didn't scamper away. Glancing at his feet, he started speaking up again.

"..You won't talk to me anymore. You're avoiding me. And.. it feels like you're not telling me something."

The girl finally looked his way. Never had she seen Gon look so depressed. His eyes were downward, shoulders were slugging, and it was hurting her heart to see. She had to tell him something. He deserved to know.

"...I'm worried, is all."

"Huh?"

"About...Kaito."

This seemed to shock the boy, blinking up at her incredulously. She was worried about Kite? Though it did confirm some stares, it didn't click in his head. She seemed to notice his expression, because she began again, making motions with her arms.

"I'm worried about all this Ant business! Kaito.. He's gone, and I don't want the same thing to happen to Killua or you! Gon, please don't go fight the Chimera Ants!"

She suddenly grasped the boys hands, staring into his eyes deeply. He only stared in silence, not responding to her sudden outburst. It was silent, just the two teens staring into each other's eyes. It was broken by Gon himself, slipping his hands away. Resting them on the girl's shoulders, he sent her one of his bright smiles.

"(Name)... I can't do that."

She looked down, as if defeated. But, the boy lifted her head back up by her chin, grinning at her. She felt her face heat up at the touch.

"Besides.. Kaito is fine. I'm gonna go bring him back, okay? You don't have to worry about anything, 'cause we're gonna beat them and win."

His cheeks held a tint of pink during his speech, but his words lightened the mood. A smile grew on her face, and the girl nodded. Bringing him into a hug, the boy looked surprised before returning it.

"Gon... Thank you."

Pulling away, she let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. He sent a smile back her way, watching as she picked up the fallen groceries from the store.

"I should put these up before Bisky throws a fit.."

"Right! I actually have to go train now, too. See ya later, (Name)-chan!"

He sent her a small wave, before leaving the room. He took note of how relaxed she looked afterwards. She must've just been worried after all. And confidence swelled in his chest. He couldn't lose now. He had to bring Kite back after all, for him and (Name). Then everything will be okay.

Her smile remained up until he left out the door. Then it slipped, bringing up the worried face from before. She knew he wouldn't listen to her. He was too hard-headed, what was she thinking?!

Maybe it won't come true since I'm not involved..

But doubt rested deep within her. He was in denial at the thought of Kite actually being gone. That was what worried her. If he truly believed he remained alive...then when he found out the truth..

It would destroy him.

Weeks ago she had this shocking dream, of which she actually did go with the boys to the Chimera. And, it ended horribly. The dream was too surreal not to be real, as it also showed her about Knuckle, Shoot and Palm. It was no coincidence. But she refused to believe the incredible reason that was left behind.

Can I see the future?

It was far-fetched, yet it was not. Was it possible? If she thought back on it, a similar thing happened before..

Before he could ponder more, she sighed, gathering his attention.

"You really what to help me, huh?"

He bolted out his seat, nodding quite eagerly. Only to falter at her next words.

"Why don't you try to cater to a broken arm?"

It was just a saying, she jinxed him after all, but it soon came true. And strangely, she just knew it would happen. Something told her, and her prediction came true. It wasn't fortune, it was reality, and it happened right before her eyes. This time was no different.

Or...was it?

She refused to believe it.

She refused to believe she was a Nen Specialist.

•••••••••••••••••••

Hey, It's Me!

Okay, so here's the thing with Bakugou-

I'm not going to update that until this story gets done. And it will be done in a chapter or two, safe for the movies. Moving on-

It's so cliche that the Reader is a Nen Genius/Specialist, and I've grown a bit of a dislike for it, but no other category would fit. I mean, it's your personality, yet not all the same? It's hard to explain, and this seemed the easiest route to go. Anyway, the ability isn't OP and it's rather simple.

Reader-chan can see and experience the future, so long as she's in it.

The last chapter was what would happen had she went with them, further disrupting the story. She can't experience the future if she isn't in it. So, basically, it's a 'What if I was there?' choice-like thing.

For instance: Reader-chan can't choose out of an regular ice cream cone or a banana split. She sees events that happen after she chooses either choice, and whatever vision she experiences is the bad ending. Therefore, she must pick the other choice unless she gets harmed.

Example: She chooses the banana split and enjoys it too much to see a truck when crossing the street, and result to her death. From experiencing this, she chooses a regular cone.

The ability only works if she really wishes to do a certain something, yet remains worried on how it'd turn out. Which the last chapter showed.

And this might be my way of explaining why she didn't have a Hatsu. Please enjoy it still, even if it's crappy mkay-
