Deep in the middle of a thick, dense forest with lush green foliage and exotic trees, sat a circular blue pad. But suddenly a light blue beam flashes briefly into existence, temporarily lighting up the comparatively dimly lit woods with its blue glow. Within the energy tube, two figures materialized, one tall and lean, and the other massive and muscular. Once it dissipated it revealed none other than the Crystal gem warrior, Garnet, who flipped gracefully off the pad gracefully and staring out into the looming forest, scanning it with unseen eyes. Beside her, stood you, the mighty (gem) momster (name) simply left off the pad and landed beside the gem, sending a subtly quake through the ground, letting out a thick puff of steam through flared nostrils.

"Thank you for coming on this mission with me, (name)." Garnet turns to you. "But I feel like this mission will be a bit of a challenge."

You simply nod with a grunt, the sun's light flashing across your shiny goggles, as well as glinting off your mighty (size) (shape) horns.

After you adjusted your goggles into a more comfortable position on your head, you both to each other and headed into the forest with no hesitation.

The walk was relatively uneventful, nothing but the sound of the rustle of leaves in the wind and the in sync beat of the steps you took in the grass. To anyone, this would have been it would have seen a peaceful walk.

But figure stalking the duo easily would easily said thought.

They continued their walk until they come across something in front of them.

A ball of sorts, with a smiley face on it... along with a string attached to it that was spark at the end of it...

BOOM!

A thunderous boom rang out as the device detonated, covering the area in a thick black cloud of smoke. However, once it dissipated, it revealed that, the two gems that were in front of it were gone!

Both had managed to clear the explosion, with Garnet stealthily leaping into a tree's high branch and you, who simply leapt out of its range and took on a defensive stance.

Before the two could gather your thoughts however, more bombs appeared around Garnet, and with the speed of a comet, she leaps off the tree before they could detonate around her, landing neatly onto your strong withers to watch the smoke dissipate, revealing the ruined tree.

That was when your assailant revealed itself, a small cloaked figure walking out of the shadows.

"You!" Called Garnet, whipping her arm out to point at the masked miscreant. "Reveal yourself!"

Instead of a verbal response, the figure whips out another bomb and throws it at garnet, in which she jumps off in front of you, easily catching it her into strong, shiny gauntlet which nullifies the effects of the explosion.

After which, garnet then calmly walks upto the cloaked creature, plucking it off the ground easily and rips off its disguise, revealing a green frog wearing a dark cape with a pale pink collar, yellow mittens, and a pair of pale pink boots. On the back of her belt sat a katana.

"Hopper the morning to you, Garnet!" She cheerfully greets. "Nothing like some morning training to get the blood pumping! Am I right?"

"Hopper." Garnet greets calmly. "Nice to see you to."

She then drops the frog, who drops onto her feet with a squish. "By the way, have you seen hoppy?" She asks looking around. "She was hoppin' excited to be with us!"

As if on cue, another figure, a one-eyed rabbit clad in a faded periwinkle samurai-esc outfit, suddenly leaps into the air above the trio, catching Garnet by surprise as the rabbit came down at her bringing down her katana down with a fierce battle cry.

However, before the blade can land a hit, garnet managed to catch it between two gauntlet clad hands, sending a gust of wind through the area.

"Garnet." The rabbit greeted with a narrowed eye.

"Hoppy." Garnet greeted with a smug little smirk.

"Wow, garnet I can tell you've been training." Hopper chirps, observing the ever rising level of garnet's power. "Your power levels are hoppin' high!"

"Yes hopper, but they could always be higher," states hoppy, landing calmly beside the frog, and sheathing her katana. "We should train more. I nearly had the jump on you that time."

"OOHH!" Hopper gasped at the remark.

"We can train another time," Garnet states, dispelling her gauntlets. "Right now there's a gem artifact to recover."

"I wonder what it is this time." Hopper mused. "Maybe a magic power amulet, or a flying power carpet, or maybe even an enchanted power onion!"

"Whatever it is, we should hurry." It was then, that the everyone turned to you, who calmly sat behind the tall gem before them, trying to rid your goggles of gunpowder residue from the bomb attack. "There's a special duo we need to get back to."

"Say Garnet, Who's your friend there?" Hopper tilted her head at you, as hoppy narrowed her eye, her paw already on her katana again. "Have you been followed?" She growled, eyeing you suspiciously. "Are you an enemy?"

Garnet smirked. "On the contrary. She is a very able ally."

Hoppy looked suspicious as she looked over you, seemingly dissatisfied with something. "I don't know, garnet..." she eyed your shiny, fluffy fur, and placid expression. "She looks a little... soft."

Garnet crossed her arms. "She is far from soft. She can handle just about anything."

"Anything?" Hoppy tilted her head skeptically. "Really?"

"Let's find out!" Hopper exclaimed, pulling out yet another smiley bomb.

Hoppy looked alarmed. "Hopper, wait-!"

"Hey fluffy! Catch!"

CHOMP!

KA-BANG!

GASP!

Garnet smirks in satisfaction, walking over to you and setting a hand on your shoulder. "Hoppy. Hopper. This is (Name)."

You slipped your goggles back on as the two animals stared in a stupor of awe. "And she will be accompanying us on this mission."

"WHOA GARNET!" Hopper exclaimed, squishing her cheeks with starry-eyes. "(NAME)'S HOPPIN' AWESOME!"

"Yeah! We gotta train with her sometime!" Gushed Hoppy, her eye shining in amazement.

"Maybe sometime in the future. But right now, we really must to hurry." You stated calmly. "We have very special people we need to get back to." You reached back into your satchel and pulled out a small photo, containing two of your most prized people of all time. A certain cute pink spinel and an adorable curly haired boy.

"Who's that?" Asked Hopper.

"Our two most favorite people in the world." Responds Garnet.

"Have you ever told them that?" Asked hoppy.

"No." Garnet replies softly.

"Not verbally." You added, putting the photo back into your bag.

"Why not?" Hopper asks again.

"I'm not..." Garnet hesitates. "Strong enough."

"Will we ever get to meet them soon?" Asks Hopper hopefully.

"Not yet." Garnet states as you start to walk ahead, prompting her and the others to follow. "They're not ready to learn I have secret animal friends."

Oh, did I mention that the visuals would be tweaked to fit the theme?

Classic Steven and past Spinel are telling the story after all, So of course the visuals gotta fit their perspectives.

But obviously, one perspective is different from the other-
