Vaan watched the massive tar beast slamming countless times into the barrier he put up.

He couldn't help but look away and hear Al's voice in the distance.

He knew they were fighting now. He could hear the army against the dark ones.

Calmly, swiftly he moved and formed another seal on the barrier.

He turned walking away. The cat beast roared with all its might and went on over and over.

Vaan opened a door, a breathtaking garden flourished to his very step.

He smiled bringing everything back to life. The fountain began and water poured down into the streams and ponds.

The dead fish had revived and the flowers bloomed.

He walked over to a stone tablet grabbing it from it's green vine home.

"I, Vaan Keeper of the Green Garden," he held the tablet over a royal table where six empty tablet beds lay.

"Humbly swear to forever keep this part of the domain alive." It was in a large golden room where a statue of a goddess stood tall.

"With my life, until it is taken, I will protect his Majesty.. and all who enter this domain." He vowed to the goddess.

He pushed the tablet onto one of the spaces on the golden stone tablet.

It shined and a green light sealed it shut. A green nature symbol appeared over the tablet bed shining.

Vaan smiled, "You've accepted me again..." he smiled.

In front of the tablet bed was a pond of water. A transparent bubble of clear blue water appeared and inside was Al.

"Al.." he said, he bowed before the tablet bed he stood in front of. "You may not be him... I but greatly wish you were." He said sadly.

Vaan left the room the massive door closed behind him as he stood and bowed again out of respect.

He walked down the hall and saw the barrier.

He returned to the Cheshire matter and sighed, "Have you calmed yourself?"

The beast lay down growling. Vaan smiled, he placed a hand on the barrier and walked right in.

"You.." he said and the beast charged at him, he jumped up dodging the head on hit, "are causing master trouble!" The vines came out plunging into the beast's neck.

It cried out, black blood poured down everywhere and Vaan landed on its head.

"Master Cheshire?" He looked into its eyes, "Are you in there?" He asked and slapped the eye childishly.

The beast growled. It tried to throw him off angrily bleeding.

"Hm.." the vine dove deeper as more came out from his lower back and dove into its skin like piercing needles.

Vaan heard nothing signifying Cheshire. He closed his eyes as the vine forced out many smaller ones.

It was then when he heard a cry of pain.

"Master!" Vaan said and pulled the vines all out. "So you are in there."

He said and jumped off as the beast went into crashing course in to the wall.

Vaan saw it shake its head off.

"Vaan," a woman's voice echo. He heard it and sighed.

"Bell, I am not the one who you should be speaking with if you wish to be revived." He said and jumped onto the ceiling.

"Be not a smart one, Master requires your assistance at once." Bell whispered through the air.

"I can handle both!" He crashed through the massive darkness of the beast.

He moved and his vines formed a ball of purification around him.

"I will cure them, I have sworn on the Ancient tablet! I will not fall again!"

He released the focused purification into the center of the beast.

The beast scratched itself feeling the burning sensation. It exploded and the darkness splatter on the walls everywhere.

Cheshire fell into Vaan's vines, he held him and took him back to his room.

He took him to the large room with the tablets, he bowed and walked up and around the table to the large statue and the bubble of water.

The vines placed Cheshire in the water letting him sink down in it.

He looked at Al in the bubbled who twitched, a large gash was in his side, a large cut was on his back.

"Forgive my lateness." Vaan bowed, he looked at Bell straightening.

A small ball surrounded by mist entered the bubble where Al floated.

"Please, receive her, use her power to your own will." He closed his eyes. "Remember, I am here too." He said smiling as a door then opened under him.

He fell in and another door opened in the sky making him fall out.

"Vaan!" Cassie yelled seeing him.

Al's hair turned peach colored an his eyes shined all black.

He screamed with a woman's scream behind his voice.

Cat ears popped on his head and a tail swayed behind him. His hair grew and his body changed.

He jumped into the air, a woman grinned. She shrieked as loud as she could.

She was a screaming banshee. Her screech burst the arm of dark ones into piles of dark mist.

Vaan hit the ground sending the mist up into the hair.

A large door appeared and sucked it all in.

She screamed still and more dark ones came out from the rubble of the burned village attacking everything.

"Now!" Vaan jumped up, a crystal formed o her head and a vine struck it.

Crystal pillar rose from the ground I the form of a pure seal.

"Sleep! She said and the seal shined freezing the dark ones in a dark plaster of crystal and stone.

The door above the battle sucked them all in.

Cassie and her arm with Al's army was left behind. The fire cured and the dark of the village vanished.

The people came falling down from doors that opened in the sky releasing them.

The army men did quick to catch them all.

The banshee smiled and with a giggle she vanished.

Vaan caught Al who returned to normal.

A woman came out from his back, She had peach pink hair and all black eyes. Pale ski covered by a wry light pink gown.

"Bell." Vaan smiled,

"I must purify Cheshire, excuse me." She said and jumped into one of the doors.

Vines crashed into the ground and brought him down with Al.

Cassie went to him quickly grabbing Al.

"Where's Cheshire?" She asked.

"Sick." He didn't touch the ground but rather sat on his vines.

"Sick?"

"Bell is tending to him, I believe that having Al there in his current condition will motivate him to stay alive."

Cassie narrowed her eyes looking at the unconscious boy in her arms. She handed him over and she pestered him to take good care of him.

"Keep him safe!!" Cassie demanded.

Vaan smiled and jumped into the door as the large door closed and vanished with the smaller ones.

He appeared in the hallway. He walked down it holding Al tightly in his arms.

He took a corner and saw Bell walk into the room with a tray of something.

He walked in and saw her. Cheshire lay on the bed groaning in pain.

She stuck him with a needle from the tray.

"It will be alright," she said and saw Vaan with Al.

He brought him over and lay him on the bed with Cheshire who clawed the pillows out of discomfort.

"Rrgg.." he growled and looked at Al.

The calm boy stayed quiet breathing. Cheshire's ears lowered and his tail swayed sadly.

"Al..." he touched his face and he got a shock of purity.

Bell looked at Vaan who closed his eyes. The vines disappeared into his back and he walked away.

"Vaan?" Bell followed him, "What will be do-"

"Aaaaaaaaagh!!!" They looked back seeing Al sitting on Cheshire with his hands pressing against his chest.

Al's hair was golden and his eyes were all white. His hair swayed as if he was in the water bubble.

Gold lines appeared on his skin turning dark as the blackness was sucked right out of Cheshire.

Gold electricity struck him through Al's hands. Cheshire's screaming ceased.

Al went limp and fell on him once more unconscious.

For that moment they could have seen someone other than Al. It appeared as a woman.

The demons inside of Cheshire were exorcised. The dark mist emerged from Al's back.

Vaan moved Bell behind him and narrowed his eyes ready for a fight.

Hands emerged, soon a face and body. A woman who's hair was darker than black. Her eyes were white and she wore a black gown over her pale skin.

"Zola." Vaan said, his childish personality left.

She gasped in the air as she floated in the air, her hair covering her other eye.
