The android rolls a coin over his fingers, catching it and flicks it to his other hand. He continuously flicks it back and forth.

The RK800 turns his head to his right. Next to him, is another android. She stares forward, waiting to reach the 70th floor. Her model number was LA750, as stated on her uniform.

The elevator stopped at the 70th floor, when the bell rang, RK800 stopped tossing his coin and pocketed it.
The two androids quickly made sure their appearance looked professional and approachable. RK800 straightened his tie, whereas LA750 fixed the cuffs of her uniform.
The elevator door opened and RK800 gestured for LA750 to step out first. LA750 gave the android a small nod as she took calculated steps out of the elevator.
An armed man immediately noticed them and informed the rest of his team, "Negotiators on site, repeat; negotiators on site." Before walking down the hallway.
LA750 took a few steps before stopping by a picture and inspecting it.
Meanwhile, the RK800 behind her kneeled down and picked a fish up from the floor, dropping it into the water tank.
As LA750 finished scanning the picture, she locked eyes with her partner, sending him the small amount of information she gathered.
The two then took a couple steps down the hallway before a woman being escorted grabs his shoulders. "Oh please, please, you gotta save my little girl..." her eyes then fall down onto his uniform and the LED on his temple.
Her eyes then snap over to LA750, seeing the same qualities on her. "Wait.... You're sending androids?..." the man quickly takes her arm.
"Alright ma'am. We need to go."
"You can't... you can't do that! You w-"
The woman was then pulled away.
"Why aren't you sending real people?" She shouts.
The two androids then proceed walking, as the woman shouts behind them.
"Don't let those things near her!"
The two of them turn the corner, revealing several armed men hiding behind cover, aiming their guns out towards the balcony.
"Keep those things away from my daughter!"
RK800 scans the area to find Captain Allen. The other android scans a few photos and tries to register details of the situation.
"KEEP IT AWAY!"
The RK800 then walks towards the Captain who is in the master bedroom, trying to solve the situation. The LA750 then follows swiftly.
"That piece of crap could jump from the roof any second!"
"I DON'T GIVE A SHIT. My men are ready to step in... just give the order!"
"FUCK. I don't believe this."
The two androids approach the angry Captain.
The RK800 then speaks. "Captain Allan? My name is Connor. This is my partner Y/n. We are the androids sent by CyberLife." He says.
The captain gives him a look before turning away, ignoring him. "It's firing at everything that moves. It already shot down two of my men... we could easily get it, but they're on the edge of the balcony. If it falls," he turns to them, "She falls." He warns.
"Do you know its name?" Connor asks. The captain gives him another look. "I haven't got a clue. Does it matter?" He replies, not happy with their presence.
Connor answers. "I needs information to determine the best approach." The Captain stays quiet.
Y/n, recognizing that Captain Allen wouldn't be of any help, stepped away. She approached the closet.
Connor tried again with the Captain. "Do you know if it's been behaving strangely before this?" He asks.
Y/n crouched down to the floor, analyzing the small case where the gun had been taken from. She analyzes the cases previous motion and manages to creature a picture of what happened with it.
The captain get up into Connor's face. "Listen. Saving that kid is all that matters. So either you deal with this fucking android now, or I'll take care of it." He then walks away.
Connor turns towards Y/n as she stands up straight. She turns to him, locking eyes and sending him the new information.
DEVIANT TOOK THE FATHERS GUN.
The two then walk out of the room, separating and going their own way to figure out what happened.
Y/n walk into the hostages bedroom, after a quick scan, she finds a tablet. She picked it up and turned it on. A video played, showing the hostage and the deviant.
"This is Daniel, the coolest android in the world! Say hi Daniel!"
"Hello!"
"You're my bestie! We'll always be together!"
Y/n puts the tablet down.
DEVIANTS NAME IS DANIEL.
She leans down and picks up a pair of headphones that were still playing music.
CHILD DIDN'T HEAR GUNSHOTS.
Meanwhile, Connor was analyzing the dead body in the living room.
FATHER WAS HOLDING SOMETHING.
Connor walks over and picks up the dropped object, another tablet. He unlocks it.
"Your order for an AP700 android has been registered. CyberLife thanks you for your purchase."
DEVIANT WAS GOING TO BE REPLACED.
Connor puts the tablet down and continues his analyzation of the scene.
Shots are fired from the rooftop, one of the armed men being shot. The others quickly take cover. "Holy shit, cover me while I evacuate him."
Connor keeps analyzing the scene, not paying them any attention. He walks into the kitchen, the stove was on and the pot was boiling over.
FAMILY WAS ABOUT TO HAVE DINNER.
Y/n then steps into the living room, scanning the other dead body.
DPD OFFICER WAS FIRST RESPONDER.
She then puts the scene together.
HOSTAGE WITNESSED THE SHOOTING.
COP SHOT THE DEVIANT.
WEAPON LOCATED.
Y/n turned and kneeled down, looking under the table, seeing the gun. She picks it up and analyzes it, after not finding anything useful, she puts it back. If androids were permitted to carry weapons, perhaps she'd take it.
Connor walks past her and over to the piano. More gunshots are fired, neither of the two machines flinch.
He kneels down and picks up a child's shoe, covered in blood.
HOSTAGE COULD BE WOUNDED.
He puts it down and walk over to the balcony door, in front of it is a small pool of thirium.
Y/n steps next to him as she was done analyzing the scene. Connor dips his fingers into the thirium and puts it in his mouth, analyzing it.
DEVIANT MODEL: PL600.
As he stands up, the two androids lock their eyes on each other, transferring the information they've gathered.
Connor then step towards the balcony door and opens it, motioning for Y/n to stay inside. So she stays.
Connor takes a step out and is immediately shot in the shoulder, his thirium splattered on the glass behind him. His LED turns red. The hostage screams in fear.
The deviant shouts. "Stay back! Don't come any closer or I'll jump!"
The girl screams as tears run down her eyes. "No! No, please! I'm begging you!" She squirms in his grip.
Snipers quickly position themselves on the roof of the buildings nearby.
Connor then starts his approach. "Hi, Daniel... my name is Connor." He says, taking a couple careful steps towards the deviant.
"How do you know my name?" The deviant shouts.
"I know a lot of things about you." Connor replies. "I've come to get you out of this."
The helicopter hovering around moves from one side to the other, causing furniture to be blown off the balcony, making Daniel stressed.
Connor slowly approaches as he speaks calmly. "I know you're angry, Daniel. But you need to trust me, and let me help you."
"I don't want your help! Nobody can help me... all I want is for all this to stop... I... I just want all this to stop..." Daniel says, stressed as he waves the gun around. Connor scans the hostage, finding her knee covered in blood.
Connor takes a step towards them but Daniel points his gun to him. "Are you armed?"
Connor shakes his head. "No."
The deviant seems less stressed. Connor takes more steps towards him, trying to sympathize. "They were going to replace you and you became upset. That's what happened, right?" He asks.
Daniel's voice shakes. "I thought I was part of the family... I thought I mattered.... But I was just their toy, something to throw away when you're done with it." He says, now pointing the gun directly at the hostages head.
Connor keeps walking towards them slowly. "I know you and Emma were very close. You think she betrayed you - but she's done nothing wrong."
"She lied to me!" Daniel shouts. "I thought she loved me... but I was wrong. She's just like all the other humans." He point the gun at her face.
"Daniel, no..." she cries.
Connor decides to take a sympathetic approach. "Listen, I know it's not your fault. These emotions you're feeling are just errors in your software." He says.
Daniel replies, "No, it's not my fault... I never wanted this... I loved them..." his gun lowered for a second. "But I was nothing to them! Just a slave to be ordered around." The gun is pointed at the hostage again as she cried.
The helicopter is loud and the deviant groans in annoyance. "Urgggh... I can't stand that noise anymore! Tell that helicopter to get out of here!" Daniel demands.
Connor accepts and signals for the helicopter to leave. A second later, it flies away.
"There, I did what you wanted." Connor says.
"You have to trust me, Daniel. Let the hostage go and I promise you everything will be fine."
Daniel calms down after his words. "I want everyone to leave! And... I want a car! When I'm outside the city, I'll let her go!" He tries to compromise.
Connor replies, "That's impossible, Daniel. Let the girl go and I promise you won't be hurt." He instructs.
The deviant speaks in a softer voice. "I don't want to die..."
Connor reassures. "You're not going to die. We're just going to talk. Nothing will happen to you. You have my word." He lies.
The deviant lowers the gun. "Okay... I trust you." He says, putting the hostage down. The hostage tries to run away, but due to her injury, she falls on the ground not far from Connor.
Daniel looks at Connor, his face dropping when the softer look on Connor's face was now gone, and replaced with nothing but an unsympathetic machine.
Multiple guns then go off, Daniel being shot from different directions, his thirium painting his clothes blue as he falls to his knees.
He looks directly at Connor with blank eyes. "You lied to me, Connor. You lied..- to-// m:/e..." his voice stops as he shuts off.
The girl cries as she's laid down on the roof.
Connor throws her a quickly glance before turning his back to them, walking past armed men with a blank face.
