Soulmate AU

Everyone has a timer on their wrist. The timer shows the days, minutes, and seconds until you meet your soulmate. It counts down to the exact time you meet your soulmate, meaning that whenever you first run into them.

Being a professional skater, you didn't even know whether or not you wanted to meet your soulmate. You wanted to focus on your career, not someone with the title "soulmate".

You looked down at your wrist. 00:78:09

Huh, that's soon. You thought. You shrugged and put your ice skates in your backpack and slung it over your shoulder. You started the jog to the skating rink.

You finally made it to the rink and signed in. You started stretching and warming up to start practicing landing salchows, seeing that you couldn't land them in your last competition. You laced up your skates, and started walking out to the rink.

You weren't going to practice for long today because you had plans that afternoon, but you wanted to at least get some practice time. You stepped onto the ice, and almost immediately started skating backwards to prepare for the jump. You turned and preformed the jump perfectly, so why couldn't you land it in the competition?

Now you could finally cool down, so you skated to the edge of the rink and walked over to the bleachers. You plopped down, and took off your skates. You continued to stretch, and eventually got ready to leave.

You walked out to the main lobby to sign out, but you ran right into someone. You fell to the floor, your butt hitting the floor. You looked up to see a silver haired male.

"U-um I'm sorry.." you said shyly. You got up and rushed quickly to the front desk and signed out. You looked down at your wrist and looked back up at the male. He smiled slightly at you.

"Hey, I think you're my soulmate." He declared.

You nodded your head and smiled.
