(Y/N) POV:
As soon as we got out of that Spooky Island Castle, we all make sure to head back to the hotel. Along the way, we mention the clues that we had found in that castle, and start to plan our next course of action, as well as who our suspects might be.
"Ah, Mystery Inc. You all seem rather cheery. Good news, I hope?" Mr. Mondevarious asks, coming to greet us.
"Mr. Mononucleosis," Fred begins to say.
Mr. Mondevarious rolls his eyes at Fred, for not saying his name right, but decides to let it go. "Yes?" he asks.
"We have hit a clue smorgasbord," Dean says, pointing to the Daemon Ritus in Velma's hands.
"We also have three suspects as to who might be behind this mess," says Sam.
"N' Goo Tuana. He believes your theme park's been built on enchanted grounds," says Velma.
"The voodoo man, who shrewdly tricked me into going to the castle," Daphne says.
"And you," Fred says, pointing a finger at Mr. Mondevarious.
"Me?" Mr. Mondevarious asks, his eyes widening in shock.
"Alright, gang, let's split up," Fred suggests. "We'll meet back here in a half hour. I'll interview employees to see if they've noticed anything odd."
"I'm gonna get to work on translating these inscriptions that (Y/N), (F/A/N) and Daphne found," Velma says.
"I'll go research cults on the net," Daphne says.
Her and Velma give each other a high-five, and then head off to do their tasks.
"I'm a suspect?" Mr. Mondevarious asks.
"Don't take it personally. It's mostly just because you creep me out," Fred clarifies.
"And whenever we unmasked somebody in the past, it would sometimes be someone who hired us to solve a mystery. So, I hope you don't take it the wrong way," I explain.
"Oh, I see. Fine," Mr. Mondevarious says, looking relieved.
With that said and done, the gang and I split up, trying to see if we can find out anything else that might help us figure out this mystery. (F/A/N) and I also try our best by looking up on the internet to see if Spooky Island has any history behind it before Mr. Mondevarious built his theme park here.
"Found anything?" Sam asks, he and Dean bringing over our drinks.
"Not yet, but we're working on it. It's great that everyone's working together again," I say, typing away on my computer to find whatever info I can.
"That's good," Sam says.
"You both seem happier than usual," Dean says.
I look at him, slightly surprised. "We do?" I ask, grabbing my drink from Dean, while he and Sam take a seat.
"Yeah. You've actually been smiling a lot more than usual, ever since we left the castle," Sam points out, taking a sip from his own drink.
"I guess we just never noticed. It has been a long time since we last solved a mystery with the gang," (F/A/N) points out.
"I guess Mystery Inc. really mattered that much to the two of you, didn't it?" Dean asks.
I let out a sigh. "Yeah, it really did. Focusing on a mystery with everyone kind of reminds me of the old days," I say, earning a nod of agreement from (F/A/N).
"We sure were quite the crew back then," says (F/A/N).
"Oh yeah?" Dean asks.
"Yeah. Those were...practically the best times of our lives, back when Mystery Inc. was still a team. Shaggy and Scooby; what goofballs! Just like they are today. But the best part was that they always brought a smile to the gang's faces whenever we needed a good laugh," I explain, remembering all the times (F/A/N) and I shared with everyone.
"Velma, being the genius of the group. Even back in high-school, she's always been the smart one. We practically always depended on her when it came to doing the brain-work. That's just how smart she is" (F/A/N) says.
"And Daphne," I say, letting out a sigh. "Always making herself look so beautiful. She was practically the coolest and the best girl I had ever known back in Coolsville High, back when we became friends, and even when we were still a couple. And Fred, he was the best football player the Coolsville Cougars could ask for."
"Sounds perfect," Sam says, he and his brother giving me and (F/A/N) a smile.
"Yeah," (F/A/N) says.
"But every family has one nut," I say, remembering an extra member who used to hang with us during our mysteries.
(3rd) POV:
~Flashback~
Back when Mystery Inc. was still a team, riding in the Mystery Machine to go solve a mystery, someone makes their way to the front seats.
"Scrappy-Dappy-Doo!" Scrappy exclaims, making everyone roll their eyes at him for being a pain in their necks. "Ghosts don't stand a chance with me. Let me at em. I'll rack em. I'll sock em."
"Scrappy, for the thousandth time, there's no such thing as ghosts," Fred says, making sure to keep his eyes on the road.
"Sure there are. And when I find them, I'll give them a good dose of puppy power!" Scrappy exclaims.
As Scrappy says that, he accidentally pees on Daphne's dress, making her gasp in shock.
"Oh, god. He's peeing on me!" Daphne exclaims.
Fred immediately puts the pedal to the metal by stepping on the breaks, which causes Scrappy to land smack face into the window.
~Flashback ends~
"That actually happened?" Dean asks, looking a little grossed out.
"Oh, big time," (Y/N) says, taking a sip from his drink, and also having an unpleasant look on his face from remembering that.
"That little ego maniac had flipped his lid," (F/A/N) says, shaking his/her head at the memory.
~Flashback continues~
"Scrappy, I told you, no urinating on Daphne," (Y/N) says, not pleased that Scrappy peed on his girlfriend.
(F/A/N) hands Daphne some towels and napkins to wipe her dress with and also helps to get the stain out, as well as the smell.
"It was an accident," Scrappy states.
"You were marking your territory!" (Y/N) yells.
"You and Fred don't have the scrote for this job, pally. Now listen up, losers. The time has come that you appoint me your unquestioned leader. Either that, or I'm outta here," Scrappy says, thinking that they'll actually make him the leader of the group.
However, the whole gang actually begins to think about something else. Without further ado, after some considered thought, they pack up Scrappy's things in a small red suitcase, and kick him out of the van.
"What's the idea? You can't do this to me! People adore me!" Scrappy exclaims. But instead of taking him back into the van, the gang simply goes on their way in the Mystery Machine. Scrappy then kicks his suitcase in anger. "I'm as cute as a Powerpuff girl. I'll get my own TV show."
~Flashback ends~
(Y/N) POV:
After telling Sam and Dean that story, me and (F/A/N) laugh with them about how silly that moment was.
"Seriously? Puppy power?" Dean asks, trying to control his laughter.
"Uh-huh. And he wasn't even a puppy," I say in between laughs.
"He had a gland disorder," (F/A/N) points out, making the four of us laugh harder.
People start to clap their hands at N' Goo Tuana's piano performance. But then, Scooby starts to scream all of a sudden.
"Relp me! Relp me! Ronsters! Ronsters!" Scooby screams, ducking under the table Sam, Dean, (F/A/N) and I had been using.
I roll my eyes at him. "Scoob, what is it this time?" I ask.
"Ronster! Ronster!" Scooby screams, pointing a finger to one of the windows.
Fred then comes over, bending down on one knee. "Scooby, this is the most embarrassing thing you've done since you decided to clean your beans at Don Knotts' Christmas party," he says.
"That actually happened?" Sam asks.
"Long story," I quickly say, while Scooby chuckles at the memory.
"How many times do I have to tell you? There are no such things as ghouls, ghosts, goblins, or monsters," Fred says, then gets on top of another table to get everyone's attention. "Now listen up. There is absolutely, absolutely no such thing as--"
Before Fred could finish, we hear something crash through a window, making all of us turn around to see a giant monster roaring at us.
"MONSTER!!!" Fred, Sam, Dean, (F/A/N) and I scream in sync.
Everyone starts to scream in fear, trying to make a run for it, me and the gang being no exception. While running, I notice that Fred had been caught by the monster.
"Fred!" Daphne exclaims with worry.
"Scooby!" Fred exclaims, before the monsters breathes out some kind of green gas at him. "Save...the others..." he says, before going unconscious.
(3rd) POV:
As if things couldn't get any worse, more of those monsters show up, coming from the ceiling, crashing through the windows, and even breaking through wooden floor boards, while everyone tries to make a run for it, screaming in fear.
"My glasses," Velma says, trying to feel around the floor for her missing glasses, which had somehow fallen off of her. "I can't find my glasses," what she failed to notice was that one of the monsters had landed in front of her, and hands her glasses back to her. "Thank you," once she puts her glasses back on the monster roars at her. "Nice mask. Bad breath."
Feeling insulted, the monster grabs her. But Velma isn't bothered, believing that this is no different from all of the mysteries she's solved in the past. So, thinking that it's a mask, she tries to pull the monsters head of by yanking on its ears. However, when she lets go, she realizes that it's not really a mask at all, and that it's actually a real monster.
"Jinkies," Velma says, scared.
The monster holding her breathes out a green gas, knocking Velma unconscious.
(Y/N) POV:
"Velma!" Shaggy and I exclaim with worry, after seeing what that monster just did to her.
That green gas must be some type of knock out gas!
Another monster then appears from behind us.
"Come on!" Sam exclaims, urging us to run.
"Like, you don't have to tell me!" Shaggy exclaims.
Me, Sam, Dean, Shaggy and Mary Jane jump behind a drinking booth, hiding behind the table. We then carefully look up to see some guy run up to help Velma. But even though he tried, the monster's strength was too much for him.
"This is, like, the opposite of what I wanted to do today," Shaggy says.
"Yeah, well, make that two of us," Dean says.
I then notice something at the corner of my eye; the Daemon Ritus! But I'm not the only one who notices it, because it also catches Daphne and N' Goo Tuana's attention.
"Leave it!" N' Goo Tuana yells at Daphne, while both of them race for the Daemon Ritus.
Before he could grab it, however, I easily snatch the Daemon Ritus and toss it to Daphne. Seeing this, N' Goo Tuana's eyes widen in shock, not expecting me to have caught the Daemon Ritus, while Daphne smiles, glad that I caught it just in time. After sticking my tongue at N'Goo Tuana, I start to run, to catch up with Daphne, while some people get in N' Goo Tuana's way, knocking him back.
After placing the Daemon Ritus in her bag, Daphne gets into a fighting stance. "Stand back, sir. I'll protect you."
However, another monster appears from the floor, grabbing Mr. Mondevarious, and taking him with it.
"Mr. Mondevarious!" Daphne screams in fear.
Another monster then tries to grab either me or Daphne, while Daphne tries to smack its hand away with her bag.
"Daphne, (N/N), go!" Shaggy exclaims.
Deciding not to linger here any longer, Daphne, Sam, Dean, and Mary Jane make a run for it, with me and Shaggy right behind them.
"(F/A/N)!" I exclaim with worry, not sure how we got separated from each other.
"(F/A/N)! Scooby-Doo, where are you?" Shaggy calls out.
We don't have time, however, when the monster jumps from the floor boards, making me and Shaggy run for our lives, before the monster could catch us.
(3rd) POV:
While everyone runs in fear and panic, being chased by the monsters, two suitcases move slowly, catching one monster's attention. The monster smirks, going after whoever is in the two suitcases, which just so happens to be (F/A/N) and Scooby.
"Running suitcase. Run suitcase. Run--" Scooby quietly says.
"Scoob, quiet," (F/A/N) says, just as scared as Scooby, but also not wanting to get caught by the monsters.
However, when the suitcases are lifted off of them, (F/A/N) and Scooby stop in their tracks, then scream in horror, realizing that they had been found. The monster tries to grab them, but (F/A/N) and Scooby dodge it. Before the monster could make another grab for them, Scooby holds up a finger to make the monster stop its movements, making it confused. Scooby then grabs the monster's hand, and then rubs his elbow to polish the monsters nails, while (F/A/N) does the same with the other hand.
Done with their work, (F/A/N) and Scooby nod in approval, and then clip the monster's nails by biting them off, making the monster's eyes widen in shock. Smirking evilly at their accomplishment, Scooby and (F/A/N) start to hightail it, while the monster goes back to chasing them, not happy with the damage that was done to its nails. While running, Scooby's attention is soon drawn to a sandwich, making him grab it with his mouth. However, when another monster appears, to grab Scooby, Scoob starts to run, causing the monster to grab the sandwich instead, which caused some mustard to squirt in its eyes.
"Rank you," Scooby says, grabbing the sandwich.
"Come on," (F/A/N) says, grabbing Scooby by the shoulders, and then dragging his/her friend to follow him/her, leaving the monster confused on what just happened.
(Y/N) POV:
The others and I had been running for our lives from those monsters, with no such luck as to knowing where (F/A/N) and Scooby could be.
"Where's (F/A/N) and Scooby?" Daphne asks, her and Dean taking the lead, while the rest of us follow them.
"I don't know, but I hope they're okay," Shaggy says.
"Same here," I say, worried about our two animal friends.
The moment I say that, we all fall backwards on something, making me look to see that we're on a luggage-cart.
"Here we are," (F/A/N) says, giving us a smile.
"Scooby-Dooby-Doo!" Scooby exclaims, pushing the luggage-cart.
"(F/A/N)!" I exclaim with a smile, giving him/her a hug, relieved to know that he/she and Scooby are alright.
"Hey, Scoob," Shaggy says, giving Scooby a smile.
Two monsters were right on our tail, but thanks to Scooby and (F/A/N), it looks like we'll make it out alive. Scooby even gives them a silly face, while also sticking his tongue out, angering the monsters. But that's the least of our problems. Since Scooby isn't paying attention to where we're going, he doesn't know that we're heading towards a glass window. And what's worse is that we're on the 4th floor!
"SCOOBYYYYY!!!" we all exclaim in a panic.
When Scooby turns to see what's wrong, his eyes widen in shock. But by the time he realizes his mistake, we all end up crashing through the window. Just as I begin to think that its over for us, we fall onto an awning, which saved us from falling to our doom. As soon as we get back on our feet, we start to run, before those monsters could start chasing us again.
Worst. Night. EVER!
