"Alright mom, I will be going then!" I yelled as I excitedly closed the door, jogging to Oka's shop for the small party we will be having with everyone.

I was greeted by their loud voices as I made it there, immediately walking up the stairs to the roof.

"Ahhh, there she issss!!!" Shadow yelled, clearly being drunk.

I laughed, walking to an empty chair reserved for me.

"Sorry for being late." I nervously talked, making them all moan in denial.

"Here, have a burger!" Reki smiled, giving me one. I nodded, thanking him before eating.

Shadow and Joe were going crazy with their alcohol while Cherry was drinking his fancy wine comfortably. Oka was just trying to calm them all down.

Miya was playing a video game while Langa and Reki were having a conversation.

Just as I finished my burger, Reki gave me another one, turning back to Langa afterwards.

"Wha--" I stopped, smiling to myself. So sweet!

"Alright then let's have the time of our lifesssss!!!" Shadow and Joe stood up, their hands around their shoulders, dancing side to side.

We all erupted into a loud laugh, nodding at their statement.

"Let's eat the cake!" Miya put his game down and leaned forward, his attention now on the delicious combination of cream and cake that was made by human hands.

"Let's!" I nodded, happy that my burgers were already gone into my stomach.

And with that we spent our day with excitement and fun.
Without caring for it to end or what tomorrow comes or went by yesterday.

But cared about now.

I wish this would last, I really do.

But everything is supposed to end, right? Just like our lifes. There's always a start...is there really always an end aswell?...

But I guess things can reconnect?

Arghhhh! I don't know.

Let me just enjoy this!!

Weird thoughts as always....

After a very long day, I went over to Reki, chilling in the garden with his sister flexing on her newly developed skating skills, shocking not only us, but his while family.

We enjoyed each others company for the whole afternooon until it turned dark.
His mother insisted of me staying but I want to spend my last night with my mother, since I stay with Reki at day.

I think I will tell Reki about my departure tomorrow. Before he can try and stop me. I think it's better this way.....

Maybe I'm just selfish...but......I want him to have more happy times.

"Alright, we're heading out!" Reki called out before grabbing my hand tightly, shocking me a bit.

"What?" He asked as he started walking out.
"Aren't we a couple?" He laughed, making me nod, shooting electricity all over my body.

"We are..." I whispered, closely holding his hand as we walked down the dim lit streets.

We fell into a comfortable silence, enjoying our company.

"Reki...." I spoke up quietly.

"Hm?" He hummed back.

"Will you ever forget about me? Even if it's just for a short amount of time....?" I asked, looking over at him.

"Huh? What do you mean?" He chuckled, his face soft.

"Uhm...forget it..." I cleared my throat, looking to the side flustered.
I can't tell him....
I can't bring myself to tell him...
I won't be gone forever....I shouldn't act like this.

I sighed deeply, staring at my feet as we were silent again.

I feel pathetic...honestly. I will do my 'job' and come back as quickly as possible. It won't be that bad and long.

"You seem....quiet." Reki talked quietly.
I tensed up a bit, not looking at him.

"I'm just tired after today, that's all." I smiled, hiding my sadness.

"I see. Then let's go out tomorrow. We haven't really gone on a date except skating or stuff like that, have we?" He suddenly said, stopping in his tracks.

I stopped as well, our hands falling apart.

"S-sure. I'd love that." I smiled weakly.

The perfect parting gift...one last date.

I like it.

"Alright then, let's get you home quickly since you're tired. Come here." He bent down, his back facing me.

I opened my mouth, being overwhelmed.

"Come on, what you waiting for?" Reki glanced back as I cleared my throat and put my arms over his shoulder, him picking me up.

He put his hands under my legs, fixing the position.

"Let's go!" He laughed, walked forward with me smelling his soothing scent.

"Let's go!" I also cheered, having a bit less energy.

Let's go.....

Today, is the last day.

Hehe....I sound so dramatic.
One month, Y/N, one month.
It won't be long.

It will go by as fast as a skateboard rolling down a hill!

"Y-"

Yes, it won't be long. I can just reveal it now...to Reki, can I?

"Y/NNNNN!!" I heard Reki's voice loudly, making me flinch and stop munching on my straw.

"Y-yeah? Sorry, I was gone, wasn't I?" I laughed, smiling apologetically at Reki sitting in front of me.

"Weird. You have been doing this a few times today, are you sure that you're fine? Do you want to go home?" He stood up, ready to leave at my command but I stopped him by grabbing his sleeve and pulling him back down.

"I'm fine, really." I laughed again, patting his head over the very slim table between us.

"Alright...tell me if you're bored or something..." He mumbled before sipping on his drink, his eyes darting outside.

I sighed secretly, watching Reki's eyes travel around the movement outside.

I'm sorry...

"Should we go to the arcade next?" Reki suddenly turned his head to me, pushing his hands on the table.

"Sure!" I smiled, quickly finishing my drink to get to the fun place as fast as possible.

Happily swinging our hands around reminded me of the tragedy soon befalling us.

I have been pushing it away all day. But I will have to go home to get ready soon.

I stopped, my smile fading a bit, making Reki turn around in concern.

"Reki....you're really precious to me so don't think that it's because of you or something. I don't want a misunderstanding...but...." I looked down, separating my hand from his.

He stayed quiet, just looking at me while I ignored his eyes.

"What....is it?"

"I.....My father still wasn't fully convinced of me not leaving. So he made a compromise that I will leave to Canada for at least a month. If I do and behave like I am supposed to, change in a good way that is, I can come back. He said that this environment just isn't good for me...including my friends-- But!!! I..don't agree...of course. Will you bare with me? Will you wait for me........to......come back?" I whispered the last part, now looking up to see his expression.

"I thought you winning meant that you're staying...." He mumbled, his jaw clenching.

"I'm sorry. I tried. You helped me so much--.."

"I guess I can't change this....But the next time I see your father, please don't hold me back." His eyes looked dark.....never have I seen such a expression. It's not sad....it's furious....

I chuckled, taking his hands and squeezing them.
"I didn't think you'd react so calm....if only I told you sooner....I'm so sorry.....I even planned to not tell you and just disappear....Just the thought of it makes me feel guilty...." I sighed heavily, looking back at Reki's orbs.

He breathed in and out like his life depended on this transmission, looking back with flinching pupils.

"I....don't know what to say. Just come back as soon as possible and in one piece..." He cleared his voice after, letting go of my hand.

"Let's get you home then. It's tomorrow isn't it?" He turned his back to me, ready to go.

"Yeah..." I hummed quietly, barely making a tone but the said boy hearing it.

"I promise I will come back after a month. I won't forget you and you won't forget me. I will call you every other day and say hood morning every. Okay?" I tried to reassure him, smiling sadly.

Reki just hummed in response, walking forward, making me follow with my hands connected behind my back.

Promise.

"I don't think he will show up, Y/N. You have to get going." My mother sighed, pushing me into my gate.

"No, no! Wait, mom! He will come. Why wouldn't he?" I debated, nervously biting my lower lip.

My mother sighed, letting her arms drop down again.

"Fine. You have 3 more minutes."

I sighed in relief.

Reki.....please come....

Is he......angry at me?

But why....at me?

Ughhhhhhhhh

...

....

The atmosphere was tense, no one moving, at least that's what I felt.

"Come one, let's get you going. He's not coming." My mother spoke up again, meaning that the 3 minutes are over.

I sighed once again and tightened my grip around the black suitcase, probably portraying my state of mind.

"Alright...." I disappointingly whispered, turning around after giving my mother a hug.

"I will be back soon." I smiled weakly, now slowly walking into my gate while my mother was waving at me.

Reki....why....

As I thought that it was over....

As I thought that maybe I hurt Reki....

A hand yanked me back, pulling me into its embrace warmly.

I didn't have to take a glance. This scent...I know its Reki.

"Reki..." I breathed, immediately hugging his body.

"Y/N.....I hate to let you go. But just promise me that we will meet, right here  in exactly one month. Okay?" He broke the hug, giving me one of his heart warming smiles.

My face lit up, nodding.

"Gate 20, ready to close."

"Oh, I better get going! Tell the others everything and that they don't have to worry. Tell Langa to eat and sleep enough and don't cause an accident with your skateboards! See you in a month!" I leaned forward and planted a sweet kiss on his cheek before speeding away as fast as my words entering his ears.

I smiled as I turned around once more, making a little jump while doing so.

"Love ya!" I yelled, not minding the stares people were giving me.

"Love you too...." Reki whispered to himself, knowing that she was now too far away to reach.

"Stay safe-...."

"Reki..."
"Y/N...."

I promise that I will be back as soon as this month finishes.

For infinity.
