I went out to buy myself some sweets and the new series of (fave) Manga since it was on sale and my broke ass is broke. And this broke ass loves sales.
So I just had to.
"Thank you. Goodbye!" The cashier lady smiled, waving at me.
I smiled back, bowing politely before saying a quick thank you.
I walked out of the store happily while eating my popsicle.
I still can't get over yesterday. Langa was just sooo amazing! And cool!
I slowly walked over to some stairs, taking a few steps before spotting a red and a blue head.
Like fire and water----- wrong fanfiction.
Anyway, I smiled after recognizing my friends and speeded down the stairs, almost tripping once.
Reki was poking Langas cheek and patting his back as I raised my voice.
"Guyyys!" I yelled while waving at them with the hand that is holding the popsicles last seconds of life.
They both turned around, a smile forming itself on their faces.
"Oh, it's Y/N." Langa looked up at me, his feet stuck on the ground...I think...
"Y/N!! What are you doing here?" Reki asked, fully turning his body to me unlike Langa.
"I was just buying some stuff for myself. What are you doing?" I smiled, sitting down between them, a step over Langa.
"Oh we just met by fate!!" Reki said, raising his hand into the air historically.
I just sweatdropped, completely forgetting about my popsicle that was slowly melting.
"What did you buy?" He asked, looking at the two bags in my hands.
I put them down next to me.
"I got Manga-"
Langa immediately cut me off by asking something he shouldn't have.
Really shouldn't have...
"Which Manga?" He innocently asked, my smile fading into a grin.
"Langa! Nooonono. You shouldn't have asked that-" I cut Reki off, my eyes sparkling while looking at Langa.
"I'm glad you asked!!! It's (fave Manga)! The newest Volume just came out and it was on sale. Student discount! So how could I not grab this opportunity to buy it, huhhhhh?!" I smiled, moving my hands around while speaking for a loooong time about the Manga and everything.
I talk too much when it comes to that...hehe....
"And then he-" I continued but got cut off by Reki.
"Y/N, your popsicle!!!" He yelled at me.
I flinched and quickly looked at my right hand, watching the rest of the popsicle plop down on the ground...
"Nooooooooooo!" I cried, looking at the delicious thing now resting on the asphalt stairs.
"I told you...But you didn't hear me..." Reki said, face palming himself.
"Sorry..." I mumbled quietly, scratching the back of my head shyly.
"I rambled again...didn't I?"
"Yes." Reki answered.
"No. It was interesting." Langa commented, giving me a thumbs up.
"Langaaaaaaa!" Imaginary tears rolled down my eyes.
"You're too kind!" I continued crying, sniffing inbetween.
Rekis face just got white, not a single emotion being visible on his Face while Langa blushed lightly.
"Yoh think so?" He replied, looking at me while tilting his head.
I stopped crying and nodded.
"No one ever found my rambling interesting." I told him, standing up again to throw away the wood from the dead (rip) popsicle in my hand.
"So. Back to what I was about to say..." Reki spoke up as I came back.
"Show me, how you skate!" Reki happily said.
Just then I noticed that Langa has taped his feet on Rekis skateboard.
"Oh?" I stopped, standing behind them confusingly.
"You don't even have to ask!" Langa stood up straight, clenching his fists lightly.
My eyes sparkled again.
He's just too cool!!!
We followed Langa down the street a bit, stopping on a curve that goes downhill.
Reki stood on Langas left side while I stood on his right.
"Okay. Let's go!" Langa eagerly announced, me expecting a cool start but getting birds chirping instead.
"Push.." Langa ordered, Reki sighing and walking up to him.
"Okay, okay." Reki pushed Langa forward, making his skateboard start rolling
I followed Langa skating, running alongside him but slowed down as he got faster and faster.
"Woaaahhh!" I clapped my hands out of excitement, stopping for a second before widening my eyes and continuing to sprint down.
Rekis voice acted before my voice could, yelling at Langa.
"LANGA! WATCH OUT! STOP!"
I ran down faster in case I could make it to help him.
Langa tried to stop but instead he did some turns and landed on the street.
A big ass trunk started driving towards him, making me stop right in front of it as it passed by, honking at us.
"Langa?" Reki exclaimed, joining my side.
I ran up to him as the truck left, kneeling down and poking his face.
His soul suddenly left his body which made me look at Reki, whos soul also left his body.
"Are you guys okay?!" I widened my eyes, helping Langas lifeless body up and out of the way of the cars.

I put the last band Aid on his nose, sighing deeply as I sat back down next to Langa.
"Oh man...what happensd to your skills from yesterday?" Reki asked, sighing while his arms were supporting his head from behind, his skateboard resting on his leg.
"I don't know either." Langa also sighed under his breath, still looking down.
I frowned, the gloomy atmosphere getting heavier.
"It's really almost like you weren't you." Reki closed his eyes, while I walked some stairs up to take my phone out of my bag, now sitting down next to Reki.
"Maybe he just needs more practice..." I added, knowing well what he did yesterday.
"She's right. Reki. Can you borrow me your board after school?" Langa turned around, one hand resting on his knee while the other one was supporting his weight on the stairs.
"Did you already forget that you almost died earlier?" Reki took his hands down, staring at Langa in disbelief.
"I think that's a good idea. If Reki doesn't give you his, I will give you mine!" I smiled at Langa, eyeing Reki from the side who sighed deeply.
"I know that." Langa suddenly spoke up again, clenching his grip on his chest.
"But somehow...it...it was great...." He looked down, his silky hair moving along.
"Great?..." Reki and I said in unison, looking down at Langa.
Langa actually is really handsome...never thought about that....and his hair is really pretty too...his eyes are also very--
"Okay. Fine!" Reki stood up, grabbing his skateboard.
"But yesterday you didn't skate with a snowboard, you skated with a skateboard!" He walked up to the blue eyed guy, stopping in front of him.
"Langa, do you really want to begin skating?" I also stood up, taking my bags and walking down to his level, then kneeling down next to him once again.
Reki looked at his skateboard, waiting for Langas answer.
"I want to..." He said, looking up.
"I want to skate!"
I looked at Reki who looked at me, both of us grinning.
"Then it's settled!" I said, clapping my hands and standing up.
"Lessons with Reki!" Reki said grinning.
"And Y/N!" I added, pushing Reki by my hip.
I stretched my hand out for Langa, smiling at him with shiny eyes.
He also smiled, grabbing my hand firmly and standing up.
His tall figure now towered over me, making me feel smaller than I actually am.
What is that smell?...
Just then I noticed how close he is to me, making me look up at his face to check if he's really close.
He looked down at the same time, making both of us step back, turn around in sync and blush redder than some tomatoes.
My hands covered my face while Langa just looked down nervously.
Reki sweatdropped, patting our backs.
"Come on. Let's go eat something. I'm hungry." Reki said, walking ahead.
I quickly followed him, the bags in my hand rattling.
"Give me those bags, Y/N. I will carry them." Reki said, leaning his hand over his shoulder for me to hang on.
"Nop. They're not even heavy. Even if they were, I still wouldn't give it to you. I'm an independent woman and I can carry these by myself!"
Reki turned around, trying to take the bags away by force but I quickly turned around, running to Langas side and hiding behind his back.
Resulting into me running away from Reki while Langa just continued walking calmly, not minding the 2 teenagers running circles around his walking figure.

"Okay, you got this!" I cheered for Langa while eating some potato chips at school.
"First, you keep your rear foot on the ground while you put your other foot on top of the deck. Right around the screws on the nose." Reki started which made Langa slowly put his foot on the board.
"Right!" Reki and I yelled in unison, me still munching on my chips.
"Wait...Goofy?" Reki looked on Langas feet.
"Goofy?" I asked Reki back, stepping forward to look at Langa.
"I snowboarded this way." Langa answered.
"I see."
"Next, put your rear foot on the deck." Reki ordered, watching Langa closely.
Langa tried pulling his foot against gravity but failed, making Reki stretch his hand out.
"If you're scared, I'll hold your hand."
"I'm fine." Langa replied, his face saying otherwise.
I put down the chips and cleaned my hand before walking closer to Langa.
"You can hold my hand." I smiled, stretching out my hand.
I was too late since he already stepped on the board, trying to keep his balance.
I closed my hand into a fist and got worried that he would-
...
fall...(for me ;^ HAHA jk)
The skateboard rolled away under his feet, hitting my ankle and making him fall backwards.
"This thing moves..." Langa said before noticing me.
I groaned painfully and dropped down dramatically. Holding my ankle in my hands.
"I'm so sorry Y/N-san!" He sat up, moving his hands around.
"I'm fine!..." I quietly groaned, breathing in deeply.
"Seems like she's fine. What just happened was that after you got on the board, you got cold feet and the center of gravity shifted to the back. Before you put the rear foot on, keep the center of gravity at the front, and after you lift that foot keep it at the center." Reki explained while stepping on the board between Langa and me who where sitting on the ground, completely ignoring his best friend dying next to him.
"Amazing...Yours doesn't move at all..." Langa looked up at Reki with shiny eyes.
That's so cute hehe.
I sighed and also smiled, standing up and dusting my skirt.
"Reki will never fall from his skateboard!" I said, making Reki turn to me.
"Hehe, That's right! Don't flatter me haha-WOAAHHH!" Reki couldn't end his speech since I kicked his back, making him face plant into the ground.
"Haha, oopsie. This, is the only way, Langa. This was lesson number 1, okay?"
He nodded, averting his gaze to Reki again.
I smiled down at Langa, stretching my hand out for him to take which he did, finally.
I helped him up while he was just staring at Rekis dead body.
"Y/NNNN! I never knew you were this strong!!" Reki whined against the ground, not moving an inch.
"He'll be fine. " I patted Langas back, making him face me.
"I guess so." He replied, his mouth turning into a weak smile.
I then looked at Reki and knew exactly what would wake him up.
"Let's go for a ride!" I beamed, making Reki sit up in a split second.
"Good idea, Y/N-chaaan!" His eyes sparkled.
"Yeah, yeah. But...we only have 2 skateboards." I said, pointing at the ones we got.
"Then hop onto mine. It will be wobbly but we could do it just like old times!" Reki suggested, me nodding and hiding a blush.
Why do I feel....whatever.
"Let's go!! I just hope the teacher doesn't get us this time like he does with you sometimes, Reki!" I laughed, grinning at my best friend who just laughed it off.
"Take this. Let's go!!!"
