Third Person Pov:

The rest of the week was the daily training, hanging out with hawk, going to school.

But today after training was different. As soon as Amelia opened the door she saw Robby.

"ROBBY" she yelled running to hug him

"hey amelia," he smiled.

"god, where have you been? are you okay? everything's good? are you staying? what have you been up to-"

"amelia calm down. i'm fine." he smiled but it quickly went away, "i've been busy with some things."

"with some things like?" amelia asked wanting to know what was more important to leaving her home alone for two weeks.

"just some things. has mom paid the bills?" he asked her

"i'm not sure. she hasn't come around." she told him

"fuck." robby said, "i don't have enough cash. you got extra?" he asked her

"no, but i can borrow some from someone?" amelia asked

"no no. i'll find some way-"

The door opened, "oh. hey kids." their mom said

"mom?" both kids said

"yup. i just came to get some stuff-"

"jesus christ." amelia rolled her eyes

"well, can you actually watch a movie with us?" robby asked her

"oh baby i wish i could but i'm busy right now. maybe later." she smiled

"if you aren't too drunk. or if you even come home." amelia told her

"amelia it's not like tha-" her mom got cut off

"it is like that mom. jesus christ. you blamed johnny for leaving but you're doing the same fucking shit. you think it's fair to robby? or me? robby skips school to pay for the shit YOURE supposed to pay for. he takes care of me. he forgets he has school and deals with what should be your responsibility. it is like that mom. you and you're drinking is fucking up our lives and your life." amelia told her

"it's not fair. no it's not." amelia told her and stormed off to her room.

She heard her mom leave which wasn't a surprise. Robby waited a couple of minutes before he came to check up on her.

"amelia." robby told her

"what robby," she asked

"i love you." he said hugging her

"i love you too robby." she hugged him back, "i appreciate everything you do for me," she smiled

Robby nodded. He didn't want to take all the credit.

The two finished the day by watching a movie. They also ordered pizza and ate.

The two had missed each other company, they hadn't had a day like this in such a long time.

"goodnight amelia," robby told her even though she was asleep and left her room.

The next morning Amelia had to wake up for school, she didn't want to go though.

She hated being there but she loved seeing her friends and boyfriend.

She walked to school with robby that day.

"hey miguel!" she told miguel seeing him by his locker

"hey amelia," he smiled, "hawk here yet?"

"he should be here soon," amelia asked, "so did you figure out how you're going to ask Sam?" she smiled

"well yes but no." he said nervously

"it'll be alright. i'll figure out what she likes and help you!" amelia a smiled

"thanks amelia," he smiled, "you're the best!"

Hawk came and wrapped his hands around Amelia's waist and kissed her cheek, "hey princess."

"hey hawk." she smiled

"this is so weird to watch, i'm gonna get going"  miguel told them

"bye miguel," amelia smiled and hugged him and he walked away.

"so i was thinking," hawk told her, "what if we go out this weekend somewhere that isn't your house or my house or cobra kai," he giggled

"yeah, i'll love that." amelia smiled at him, "but only if you get that hunnid on your test this week." she smiled

"okay but you have to help me study," he smiled

"i have to help you demetri and miguel? what is this" she laughed

"oh." he said, "okay well then we should all go somewhere to study." he smiled.

"yeah, we can go to my house." she smiled, he smiled at her.

"i don't wanna go to class today," he groaned

"'mmm too bad," she gigfled, "plus we have classes together today."

"only thing that's keeping me coming," he smirked and then started walking to class with Amelia.

The two sat down and Amelia saw one of robby's friends, one of the few she actually liked.

He waved at her and she quickly waved back smiling. Hawk noticed this and got tense. He didn't like other boys waving at his girl.

The two sat down but hawk was staring at the boy she had waved at throughout the whole class.

"are you listening hawk?" amelia said after talking for a minute seeing that he wasn't paying attention

"i'm sorry what?" hawk said turning to her

"i asked if you got what she was talking about because i need help in this question." she told him

"oh yeah uhm let me see," he said gettibg the paper and seeing the answer. "okay well the answer is 5," and he wrote on the paper, "and there's how you show your work."

"thanks," amelia smiled

"yeah," hawk said and turned his eyes back to the boy.

The bell rang and he left quickly without amelia.
He saw the boy in the middle of the hallway and bumped into his shoulders.

"hey watch where you're going," said the boy but hawk ignored him.

The four decided to go to Amelia's house after school to study for the test they had this week.

"what works with you all?" amelia asked them

"what do you mean?" miguel asked

"like for me, practice tests work. what works with you to remember what you studied," amelia told him

"flashcards," the three said

Amelia nodded and got up to go to her room and grab some note cards, "okay well you guys study this while i get them ready then." she said handing them her notes.

Amelia was probably the smartest after demetri, after all she was a year younger than them but taking all their classes. If robby hadn't pushed her so much during 5th grade, she would have to deal with the kids her own age and would have suffered.

After 10 minutes she had finally finished. "i'm doneeeee," she smiled

She started off with Miguel, then demetri and finished off with Hawk.

The three had done a great job only missed about two questions but they could study that more than the others.

Amelia had baked some red velvet cupcakes and gave some to them to take home.

"that's your reward," amelia giggled

"thank you miss keene," miguel joked

"yeah now i'm not so stressed about this test." demetri smiled at her

"good. you shouldn't be, it's super easy." she smiled.

Demetri left first then Miguel and hawk stayed. He wanted to talk to amelia about today in school.
