The Earth Giants look up and grumble as the mist begins to lift off of their home, revealing the beautiful blue sky that lay just above them, the morning sun once again shining through the trees and allowing color back into its borders.

The small salamander chitters while crawling atop a small rock, and smiles as the wind spirit flutters around it before lifting it up into the air in excitement and happiness.

The creature sticks it's tongue out as the spirit does so, and smiles.

...

The Northuldra all gather together and walk slowly outside the once mist covered land, all heads turned upwards at the blue sky.

Anna and Kristoff walk slowly before stopping, their arms around eachother before looking down. Anna shakes her head. "I'm sorry I left you behind..I was just so desperate to protect them.."

"I know, I know..it's okay." Kristoff assures, staring into his girlfriend's eyes with genuine love. "My love is not fragile.." he takes her into his arms, and rests his head against hers.

...

Ryder looks up with wide eyes as his shoulders go slack, and smiles softly. "Wow.." he breaths out. "Look at the sky.."

Honeymaren walks to his side, and nods her head in return. She bumps her shoulders with his, not once taking her eyes off of it.

"I just didn't realize there was so much of it."

...

Mattias and Yelena stand side by side, their heads upturned. "34 years.."

"Five months.."

"And 23 days..."

They recite their times trapped in the forest. Mattias looks down at the women, before offering her his arm, and together, they walk into the open field.

Sven bellows at the open grass before taking off and causing the rest of the reindeers to follow. They all run in a group before gathering into an oval like shape outside of their home, running together, with the babies in the middle.

...

Anna watches the happy moment with a frown, but stops when she feels both a cold and warm shiver run up her arm.

Looking down, she raises a brow as a few shards of ice flutter around her, before gasping at the small, glowing orange ball next to it.

The shards merge together and form a small snowflake design, and makes Anna reach for it before chasing it as they flutter down a small hill.

The princess stops just at the edge of the cliff, and looks out towards the fjord. She takes a step back and feels herself begin to tear up as a horse approaches from the distance, two figures together as one waves frantically at her.

Anna gasps, and quickly scurries down the hill, tripping over her feet once or twice but refusing to stop as she watches the two come to a stop at the waters edge.

The horse bows deeply, and allows the two to jump off, before dissolving right before their eyes. Espen grabs his girlfriends hand and helps her down, and they both turn to smile at the princess.

"Is it really you?" She hesitates, clutching her chest.

(Y/N) nods with a tearful smile, and opens her arms wide. "Anna.." she mumbles, and laughs as the girl quickly runs into her arms.

Espen watches them, before wrapping both of his arms around the two girls. He hugs them close to his chest and presses a small kiss to his sisters hair. "We're here Anna..it's okay.."

This causes the girl to wail louder as she unwraps one of her arms around from around (Y/N) and clutch tightly onto her brothers shirt, her tears staining their new attire.

"I thought I'd lost you!" She cries, and (Y/N) shakes her head before pulling away and holding the girls arms. "Lost us?"

Espen smiles, and pats his sisters hair affectionately. "You saved us..again."

"I did?"

"And Anna, Arendelle did not fall." The king says softly, but chuckles as the girl continues to sniffle a sob. "I-it didn't?"

(Y/N) nods. "The spirits all agreed, Arendelle deserves to stand, with you."

The princess snorts and runs her nose, finally calming down with tear stained cheeks. "Me?" She squeaks, and her brother nods. "You did what was right, for everyone."

She nods before looking up at her brother with curiosity. "Did you find the other spirits?" Espen smiles at her, before wrapping an arm around his girlfriends waist and grabbing her hand with the other.

Anna gasps. "You..you both are the other spirits.." she smiles, "You're the bridge."

(Y/N) grins, before grabbing the girls hands again. "Well actually a bridge has two sides."

"And mother had two children." Espen finishes. "We did this together, and we'll continue to do this together."

The princess nods, before wrapping them both in one more hug and squeezing them tightly.

"(Y/N)!!" A voice calls out from behind, drawing their attention to a frantic Kristoff slipping down the hill.

The (H/C) women snorts as she watches him fumble, and slowly makes his way towards him with a grin. "Oh? Well look who it is-!" She goes to tease him further, but halts with wide eyes as her brother hugs her tightly, almost lifting her off the ground.

"I thought you were dead.." she hears him whisper, and notes that his voice cracked slightly. He lets her down, and pats her shoulder while sniffing. "I'm glad you're okay.."

(Y/N) softly smiles at him, and hugs him one more time, causing Kristoff to sigh affectionately and hug her back, twice as hard.

They let eachother go before the blonde makes his way over to the king and gives him a small hug. "It's good to see you." He says, and receives a nod in return.

(Y/N) joins her boyfriend's side and laughs as Sven bellows in greeting. They both scratch under his chin, and raise their brows as Kristoff talks.

"You look different! Did you cut your hair or something?" He asks blatantly, and (Y/N) feels herself scowl at him. She brings her hand up and punches him in the arm, and the man winces before punching her back.

Espen watches, without bother, as they both lock their arms around eachothers necks, and shakes his head before speaking with a laugh.

"Or something."

"Oh!" Kristoff nods, and yelps as (Y/N) pinches his ear one last time before returning to her lovers side with messy hair. Espen chuckles and smooths out her hair.

They all look up as a chitter, followed by a soft blow of the wind fills the air, and pulls the king attention back to his sister.

"Anna, I need to ask you a question."

"..okay.."

His face turns into a small smile, before leaning in close and speaking. "Do you want to build a snowman?"

"What?" Anna asks in disbelief, and watches as her brother waves his arms around and gathers a pile of snow that fluttered from atop the hill.

It flies around the group, and (Y/N) smiles. "Thank goodness water has memory." She says softly, and watches as her little friend begins to get rebuilt.

Anna rushes to bend down and attach his arms, twigs for hair, and his charcoal buttons, before finally attaching his signature carrot nose.

She steps away as he giggles before opening his eyes and looking around at his family.

"Anna..Espen!" The siblings bend down together and smile tearfully at the snowman.

"(Y/N)! Kristoff! And Sven!" The other siblings chuckle at Olaf, and Kristoff brings an arm around to wrap around his sisters shoulders with a grin.

"You all came back!" Olaf giggles excitedly, and cooes as they all bring him into a group hug. "Oh! I love happy endings." They break away and watch as he deadpans towards Espen.

"I mean, I presume we're done. Or is this "putting us in mortal danger" situation gonna be, a regular thing?" The king chuckles, shakes his head and stands up. "No, we're done."

He takes his girlfriends hand and pulls her to his side, and they both watch as Kristoff speaks up. "Actually, there is one more thing."

They all take a step back as he gets in his knee. "Anna." He starts. "You are the most extraordinary person I've ever known." Anna gasps and covers her face as she begins to tear up.

"I love you, with all I am." Quickly, he takes the ring out of his breast pocket, and holds it out to her. "Will you marry me?"

The princess sobs, and fans her face with her hands before launching herself at her fiancé. "Yes!" She yells, and chuckles as she tackles him into a big hug.

Sven feels himself begin to break down and cry as he watches. Kristoff picks his fiancé up and twirls her around with a laugh before setting her down and kissing her gently.

He pulls away, and nods to the King and before winking at his sister. "(Y/N), I think Espen has something he would also like to ask you."

This catches the king off guard as his girlfriend turns to him with a raised brow and crosses her arm. Quickly, he reaches around and pulls the green box from his pocket and sucks in a deep breath.

(Y/N)'s face goes slack as she watches him open the box, and she feels tears slowly fill her eyes as she eyes the beautiful ring. It was a silver band, with a sunflower pendent carved into the center, the same symbol her father had used for as long as she could remember.

Espen clears his throat, and begins to kneel. "(Y/N).." he starts, but gets cut off as his collar is grabbed.

"Yes.." (Y/N) says with a laugh, and brings her fiancé's face towards her before kissing his lips gently. The kings face bursts in color before relaxing and wrapping his arms around her waist tightly, and pulling her almost into a dip.

Anna squeals in the background silently, and Kristoff watches them with a proud smile.

The couple pull away and smile at eachother, before stopping as the earth shook. They all look up, and Anna and Kristoff both gasp as the Earth Giants approach.

One bows it's head, and the King carefully holds his hand out for his sister and fiancé. They take his hands, and together, they walk up to the Giant, and set their hands gently on its nose.

...

Anna rushes to Lieutenant Mattias and grabs his hands. "Arendelle is okay." She reassured, and watches as his eyes widen in shock.

"What?" He breaths out, before turning to his guard with a laugh of relief.

...

(Y/N) stood between her grandmother and Espen, while Honeymaren held the kings left hand in her own.

"Ahtohallen is beautiful." He says softly, and smiles towards Yelena.

He lets go of their hands quickly as the small salamander hops into his palms, before snuggling into the cold of his hands with a chitter. "Oh! Hello!"

(Y/N) chuckles and gently smooths her finger along the creatures skin, and laughs as it fumbles happily at the affection.

"You know.." Honeymaren starts, catching the couples attention. "You belong up here, you both do."

Espen nods, and looks down at (Y/N). "We took an oath, to always do what best for Arendelle."

"Luckily." (Y/N) starts, and they all turn to face Anna as she watches the people walk around freely. "We know just what that is."

The siblings run to eachother, and smile as they lock eyes.

"Well I still don't know what transformation means.." Olaf's voice rang in the background. "I feel like this Forest has really changed us all."

...

The kingdom of Arendelle quickly returned back to its bubbly and lively nature, with the streets full with people all cheering and waiting to congratulate their new queen.

...

The crowd roars with applause as they see Anna, draped down to her toes in a beautiful emerald gown, the same cape her brother once wore during his coronation hanging off her shoulder.

"Presenting her magesty!" The adviser announces with a proud smile. "Queen Anna of Arendelle!"

Anna stops and looks around at all the happy faces within the crowd, and quickly wastes no time in walking down the steps of her podium to greet them.

She waves politely to most, and greets some before chuckling as she sees Sven with a large bow tie hanging off his neck. "Sven! Don't you look nice." She complements, and adjusts his tie.

A voice clears its throat from behind her, and Anna looks back and gasps as she sees her smalk friend in a rather tight fitting suit, his arms sticking to the side as he and slicked his twigs back.

"Oh my goodness! Olaf!"

"Chanted, I'm sure." He greets with a poached accent, and Anna laughs before curtsying.
"Charming."

"Your magesty." Facing forward, Anna breaths out in shock at her husband. "Kristoff!" She gasps, and watches as he bows to her, his hand outstretched.

Anna cooes before grabbing it. "Did you boys get all dressed up for me?"

"It was Sven's idea."

"One hour." Kristoff says, and pulls his wife to him with a smile. "You get this for one hour."

The Queen shrugs, "That's okay." Pulling him down, she quickly kisses his cheek before walking away. "I prefer you in leather anyway."

Kristoff is left chuckling in shock before looking down and raising a brow as Olaf, now out of his attire, shakes his head. "I'm shocked you can last an hour, that was brutal." The snowman sighs, and waddles away. "The things we do for love."

...

Anna smiles as she sees her newly appointed general of the guard, Mattias and Halima laughing at a photo they had taken moment before. "Halima. Generals Mattias." She greets with a cheeky smile.

"Uh, your majesty." Mattias greets, and holds his arm out for the girl to take. He hands Halima the phot with a smug smile. "I'll be right back, you can look at our, photograph, while I'm gone."

He snorts nervously as he leads the new Queen towards a large veil. "How am I doing?" He asks, to which Anna gives him an encouraging nod. "Fantastic."

The crowd gathers together as they both pull the veil off, revealing two statues together. One was of Iduna and Agnaar, standing side by side with proud smiles on their faces.

The other stood next to Agnaar, but just as important. It was of (F/N), his signature grin displayed as he held his sword up high to the clouds.

The crowd cheers loudly at the statues, and Anna nods as she stares at them. "Our lands and people, now connected by love, and bravery."

She smiles softly as she sees three small leaves flutter around the statues before chirping around her head. Anna hums, "Hi, Gale, you like it?" She asks, and receives a happy chitter in reply.

"Oh!" She remembers, and pulls out a small letter shaped like a bird. "I've got a message for Espen and (Y/N)."

Without hesitation, Gale picks the letter up before shooting into the air and carrying it all the way to the Northuldra woods.

...

(Y/N) sees the letter flutter towards her, and quickly grabs it before turning to Gale and nodding. "Thank you." She says, and gently unfolds the bird.

She smiles as two arms come around her waist and tug her backwards. Her back hits someone's chest, but she dosnet need to turn around to see who it is.

"Charades Friday night. Don't be late." Espen reads from across her shoulder with the small salamander on his own. "And don't worry, Arendelle's doing just fine, keep looking after the forest..I love you."

(Y/N) smiles as her husband finishes reading. "We love you too, Anna." She mumbles, and gently takes Espen's hand in hers and trails her hand over the small silver ring he wore.

They take a moment together, wrapped in eachothers arms and swaying from side to side before the chirping of a certain wind spirit breaks them out of the comfort.

"Hey Gale." Espen says, "We're going for a ride, wanna come?" He offers, and chuckles as the spirit chitters excitedly.

Looking towards the small stream of water, they both watch as the water spirit bursts into the air and trots towards them with a snort.

"You ready?" (Y/N) asks, and sets her forehead against the creature's. Espen sets his hand over hers from behind, and they watch as the spirit frosts over into a beautiful mesh of blues and oranges.

...

With (Y/N) infront, they both race through the forest with wide smiles.

Passing an earth giant, the nod in greeting before running through a small herd of reindeer, led by none other than Ryder and Honeymaren.

The two wave happily as they notice the magic welders, and Espen and (Y/N) wave back with small smiles before continuing North.

They run up the giants arm and up a cliffs edge, and continue through a line of snow covered trees.

A small blue of pink catches their attention, and Espen looks back to see the salamander following them with its body aflame.

The white haired male gently flutters a few snowflakes from his palm and sets his other firmly against his wife's waist as he watches the creature munch at the snow.

He uses his magic to create a small bulk of snow on the ground, and chuckles as the salamander flips into it instantly, his fire going out as he sinks into the soft snow.

...

They make it to the edge of the frozen over ocean, and without stopping, (Y/N) urges the horse to continue forward, towards Ahtohallen.

Crossing the ocean with ease, Espen breaths in deeply, and feels his eyes begin to blur when he feels the cold air hit his lungs. It didn't hurt him however, no, it just made him feel more alive than he already was.

He wraps both his arms around (Y/N)'s waist and throws his head back to release a loud yell of happiness. He watches as his breath fogs up due to the low temperature, but that doesn't stop him as he continues to yell out in excitement.

The women laughs loudly as she listens to him yell, and reciprocates by tossing her head up high and yelling just as loudly.

The water spirits neighs loudly and joins them in the noise making, before they all calm down and are left laughing together.

Espen burrows his red face into his wife's neck, and breaths in once more before relaxing and allowing the horse to take them to the place he had felt most understood.

The place where they both felt they were meant to be, the place where they could be themselves without feeling alone or scared anymore.

They were going home.
