okayyyy so like there are probably gonna be 1-3 parts of act two & as much as I love this book, i don't really have much ideas left.

DAPHNE POV

it had been 2 weeks since the party, it had been complete hell all i ever heard was whispering about what happened "she's such a loser", "guess she really is nuts", "i don't know i feel bad for the poor girl".

the worst part is vic didn't come to the door, he didn't call, no more notes in the middle of class, no more in class jokes, he didn't try and make it better. i really cared about him, he made me look like a big dope.

kat did everything she could to make me feel better but it didn't work, as much i appreciated her efforts i wanted her to stop and just go away, i wanted everyone to go away.

my dad said shying away from the problem wasn't gonna make it any better so i might as well face the music.

casper tried his best but let's just say human problems weren't exactly his specialty. why can't it be like every other time, we don't find mom and we leave? why did we have to stay

"ms harvey!!" mr. grey yelled as i snapped out of my thoughts

i could already hear a couple giggles in the back

"yes?" i sighed

"what's the answer to number 15?" he asked crossing his arms, as if he were disappointed

"umm 8?" i said a little unsure

"correct" he said glaring at me for a little and then turning back to the blackboard

the bell rang for lunch, i didn't wanna be in the lunch room so i went to the one place me and him had our last good encounter

VIC POV

you have no idea how bad i felt, amber didn't come to school today because she needed a "pamper day" whatever that meant, so i was gonna say sorry.

"hey im gonna go to bathroom real quick" i lied to my friends

"yeah whatever man" dean said shrugging

really i was gonna look around for daphie and she wasn't in the lunch room, i thought and i decided to check the field.

i saw her in the field looking sad... i messed up. i fixed my hair and ran up to her

"daphie hey" i said a little awkwardly, smiling gently

she didn't even look up at me before she responded with "go away"

"i deserve that but look i didn't want to, i was basically forced too, she offered me 70 bucks . i really care about you and i apologize"

she looked up at me with her beautiful brown eyes, could make me melt on the spot

"you're saying sorry?" she asked

"I mean yeah I feel terrible"

"I don't forgive you" she said bluntly, looking down again

"but i said sorry?" i said being taken aback

"and i don't forgive you" she paused for a moment and chuckled "vic nobody can force you to do anything and it's very refreshing to know im worth 70 bucks... if you cared about me you wouldn't have done it, now if you don't mind I'd like it a lot much better if you went away and never bothered me again"

"daphie don't be like that, i get it i deserve everything you're saying and stuff and i get you don't wanna be friends anymore but consider it"

she sighed and stood up, she looked me dead in the eye

"it's daphne, only friends call me daphie" she said pushing past me hitting my shoulder

i watched as she walked away, that was it but i wasn't gonna give her up that easily, i jogged to the lunch room and found kat.

"can we talk?" i asked

"no, go away" she said looking at me, if looks could kill i'd be 6 feet under

"please, it's about daphne" i begged

"you have a minute" she said crossing her arms

"can you please talk to her? i tried apologizing, she won't budge, i need you to explain to her how much i care"

she rolled her eyes "nobody can prove to her how much you care but you"

before i could respond

"your minute is up" she said

how was i gonna do this?
