"Yes, that can be an option but you and I know that you haven't met them yet so you don't know that. You have the right to go on dates even if it's not with your soulmate. And a little birdie told me you like him a lot."

"I know, he does. I'm just nervous I guess."

"It's normal to be nervous when you are going on a first date. Now tell me where are you two going ?"

"A coffee shop. He sent me pictures, I like the place, it's cute."

Jisoo heard his best friend drop his phone on his bed. A sigh came out of his mouth. Why is he so nervous ? He knows Seokmin, they talked before. It's gonna be fine.

"Shua, you're still here ?"

"Yes, how is Seungcheol ?"

"He's fine, he wants me to tell you don't overthink too much and enjoy the moment."

"Okay, I will. I need to go and get ready."

"No problem. Just call me when you are back. I want to know everything !"

"Yes, I will."

And with that sentence, Jeonghan hung up. Jisoo is still laying on his bed, a position he adopted three hours ago when he got back from work. He suddenly sat up, hair all messy from the number of times he rolled up in bed. He decided to take a shower and change his clothes because work clothes are definitely not adapted for a date.

He came out of his bathroom wearing black pants and a pink hoodie. His hair was no longer messy but gently curled. No need for make-up, he thought, it's a simple coffee date. He just wanted to look cute for Seokmin.

When he arrived at the coffee shop, Seokmin was not here. He decided to wait inside because it was freezing outside. He asked for a glass of water before sitting down in a booth near the large windows of the shop.Their date was at 4:30 PM and he arrived ten minutes early.

He smiled when he felt something happening to his bond. Unlike the sensation of later, he knew this one, his soulmate was happy. And that alone made him happy.

Jisoo then felt a light tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see Seokmin smiling down at him.

Something unexpected then happened. All Jisoo was able to see was Seokmin and for all he knew his soulmate bond was connected to the man in front of him. The wave of happiness and adoration he felt at the moment took the most of him. He let the tears of happiness rolled down his cheeks and a loving smile took place on his face. His eyes met Seokmin's eyes and he could see a mirror of his own emotions. The same happiness, love, want, warmth, fondness, adoration. Soulmates.

Seokmin sat down next to him before cupping his cheeks and softly drying his cheeks with a napkin. Jisoo let his newly found soulmate stroke his face with his thumb and leaned into the touch.

"Why are you crying ?"

"I'm just happy to finally meet you."

"Me as in Seokmin or me as in your soulmate ?"

"Both."

"God, you are so cute."

"Can I hug you ?"

Seokmin simply nodded before opening his arms. Jisoo looked at him and let himself go into his soulmate's embrace. His head was resting on the crook of Seokmin's neck and his arms were locked around his neck. Seokmin was smiling while holding him by the waist. He saw the looks given in their direction but he couldn't care less. The man in his arms was his only priority and they would hug for as long as he wanted. This just felt right for both of them.

"Do you want to order something ?"

Jisoo just nodded into his neck.

"What do you want ?"

"Can I have a latte and a slice of strawberry cake? I saw them earlier and it looks so good."

"No problem. I'm gonna order for the both of us. I'm coming back."

Jisoo let him go and decided to send a few texts to his best friends.

Seokmin came back with two lattes, a slice of strawberry cake and one of chocolate cake. He smiled at Jisoo who smiled back while playing with the paws of his hoodie. If someone could die of cuteness, Seokmin would have died a while ago. He sat down next to him once again and Jisoo immediately leaned against his shoulder.

"You look great by the way. Your pink hoodie is making you look even cuter. "

"Thanks. You look great too. Pictures don't do you justice."

"Thank you baby."

A severe blush took place on Jisoo's cheeks. "Baby" was the nickname Seokmin chose for him two months ago and he loved it so much. It made him feel so special. His only answer was to take a piece of his strawberry cake and shove it into his mouth. This strawberry cake was definitely one of the best strawberry cakes he ever ate.

"Does it taste good ?"

Jisoo simply nodded before taking another piece of cake into his mouth.

"Can I have a piece ?"

The question made Jisoo think for a minute. He then held his fork in front of Seokmin's mouth.

"Only because it's you."

Seokmin simply smiled at him before eating the piece of cake.

"You're right it tastes good but my favorite cake here will always be the chocolate one."

"Can I try ?"

Seokmin did the same thing Jisoo did for him. He held a piece of his cake to his soulmate's mouth who eated it.

"It also tastes good."

The two of them ate their cakes and drank their coffees while exchanging small talks and smiles.

"Where do you want to go for our next date ?"

"I would love to go stargazing or just watch movies and cuddle."

"I think we will be able to do both."

They decided to take a quick walk through the city before it gets too dark. They were holding hands and glowing with happiness.

"I need to go home. I start work early tomorrow."

"No problem. I'll see you soon and if you need me remember I'm a phone call away."

"Don't say that, I will call you all the time."

"It's not a problem for me."

Jisoo's cheeks turned pink again.

"Can we hug one last time today, Minnie ?"

Seokmin nodded before Jisoo hugged him, his arms around his neck. Seokmin's arms were around his waist and he heard a whisper.

"See you very soon baby."
