"Ahhh, I can't believe it!" Del exclaimed. She was with her friend, Rellik, seemingly trying to find a safe spot.
"Rel, I told you... I told you not to break the phone!" She complained. Her ears drooped down, showing she were sad.
"Now what am I gonna do?" Del asked herself.
"So much for 'I'm on my own in this'..." Rellik thought, not listening to Del's whining.
"Del, there's..."
"I can't waste the wish to get back home..."
"Therβ"
"What if my parents find out?" Rellik was starting to get annoyed.
"Del!" Del turned around.
"WHAT?!" That little outburst actually caught the vampire off-guard.
"There's a building in taitle made exclusively for non-competitors. Or so I've heard." Rellik explained. That sentence made Del grin, thinking she'll actually go home.
"Right! They must have a phone in there! I could call for help. Real help..."
"Let's move, then. It's dangerous for you to stay here." The iconic duo began walking again, not knowing a familiar drone watching them this whole time.
"We're in a decadent abandoned city, what could possibly happβ" Del got caught off by a closet landing just in front of her. Rellik looked up just to see a drone.
"Oops! My bad! I just wanted to empty the room, I swear!" You explained. You heard Karl calling out for you.
"[NAME]? Deary me, what did you do now?" He chuckled. He looked outside to see Del and Rellik looking up at the two of you. Karl looked outside for a second.
"Have any of you seen a red haired girl? Curly hair, black skirt, violin with another drone with white wavy hair, butler suit..." Del's tail poked her before pointing at something.
"No? Hmm..." Karl hummed while you perked up.
"Also, also, also! Are you two humans? Asking for my lil friend over here!" You asked them, trying your best to seem innocent. Del rested her hands on her hips.
"Come on, Del. We must get to the city's limits." Rellik suggested, already starting to go forward.
"No way they're gonna go away without answering my question..." You squited your eyes at them as Karl just stared at you in... amusement? Awe?... He couldn't wrap his finger on it. He somehow enjoys your company. And kind of want it to last forever... and maybeβ his train of thoughts was disturbed by the sound of glass breaking, and crashing. You somehow managed to drag Karl, not wanting to disturb his thought and found the machines you had left when you entered the taitle, and threw it out of the window, where it had landed on Rellik.
You jumped out of the window, and landed on the machine.
"If you're going to leave, atleast answer my question!" You complained, crossing your arms. Meanwhile, Karl came out of an alleyway nearby.
"Hello..."
Del immediately ran inside a building next to her with a yelp, the two of you following after.
"We've lost the opportunity to finish my match this past afternoon..." Del looked back, thinking she had lost the killer duo, but was surprised to see them right around the corner.
"And it would be quite a shame if I lost this one as well." Del yelped again, backing away. Karl let you take the lead, so you were about to launch forward. You felt something on your shoulder, screaming when suddenly you felt yourself hitting the wall, landing on a pile of boxes.
"Rel! You were waiting for the dramatic moment to save me, weren't you?"
"... You're welcome."
You crawled away from the now broken boxes and got up with the help of Karl. He was staringβmaybe glaringβ at Rellik.
"Are we alive yet?" Asked Karl, seeing Rellik still alive despite you crushing him with a boiler.
"Hehe, Rel is not alive, silly. He's a vampire."
"Vampire? I thought that was only in fantasies." You thought out-loud.
"And I thought walking talking statues were also in fantasies!" Karl sarcastically answered.
"That's what I'mβOh..."
"Well guess what, he's real, he's an undead bloodsucker, and he's gonna kick your psycho butts!" Del confidently claimed. "Go get em, tiger!" Rellik sighed, before turning around to face you, now standing up and brushing the dust off of you.
"I see..." Karl began, "Unfortunately, I'm a rather skeptic about vampires." Arma perched on his hand, turning into a sword. He then dashed towards Rel while you drank your oil in the corner, watching the scene unfold before you. "Mythical creatures..." He tried slashing his abdomen (is da how u spell it?),and Rellik dodged. "Living dead...", this time, Karl aimed for his head, and he once again dodged. "Walking-talking statues..." Arma turned into a crowbar. Karl then swooped Rellik's feet, finishing it with a stab on his stomach.
"What a joke!" He'd cooed. You walked over to him, still sipping on your can of oil. You almost spilled out your oil at the view of Rellik getting up, as if he didn't just get stabbed.
Rellik grabbed the handle of the sword, pulling it out. "Well, that's convincing." You told Karl. Rellik threw Arma on the ground and while Karl was distracted, he punched Karl on the face, you fortunately dodging it not wanted to be violated by the same person twice. You were about to transform your hand into chainsaw, planning to cut him into two, when the building suddenly shook.
"W-w-what?! A-an earthquake?" Del asked herself. The groud beneath the three of you, broke, leading to an abandoned subway.
Meanwhile, Rellik got up, looking around to hear any signs of you, immediately dodging a chainsaw that was coming for him.
"No way, you got dark vision too?!" You asked the vampire. "Small summary, you can't die, can respawn or something, got super-strength... Meh, I call em green flags!"
"Green flags?! You call hitting people with a boiler a green flag?!" Rellik furrowed his eyebrows at you in disbelief.
"Mmmmaybe?" You grinned innocently. Rellik groaned.
"Tell me, vampire..." Rellik dodged another surprise attack from Karl. Rellik was now cornered. "Your little friend is a human, isn't she?" He began repeatedly slashing, wanting to atleast land a hit. "She considers you a monster... A 'bloodsucker'." He looked back to see you gone. 'Maybe planning something.' He set his gaze on Rellik again.
"How, then, do you take care of her? How could you not hate her?" Karl asked questions after questions, "How could you not hate them all?" Rellik got behind Karl and reached out for him, slamming him against a nearby wall. Karl let go of Arma, and she landed couple feets away.
"I don't hate anyone. Hatred is pointless. It doesn't solve anything." He answered, glaring daggers at Karl.
"Absolutely! Hate is not the solution! It's the mean." Karl stared at Rellik with half lidded eyes. "It's what brought us here in the first place. C'mon, admit: you're just here because you hate us."
"Us?" He thought.
"Because we tried to kill you and your little friend." He finished.
"You're right. I hated you for what you did. But now, though, I pity you." Karl stared at Rellik, completely lost for words. "I pity you for your despair. Look here, you can try to use hate to give your empty like a sense, but that'll destroy you from within. You don'tβ" He was about to continue his boring paragraph on why you shouldn't hate, but heard giggling. He looked around trying to find the source.
"DID SOMEBODY SAY DESPAIRβ" You launched at Rellik, hardly kicking the vampire. "This is for throwing me like that!" You grew your wings and flew toward him, Karl following close behind.
Rellik stood up, searching for you. "So that's why he said us...' His eyes landed on a yellow glow coming out of an broken train. That glow came frol you, and he immediately saw on your screen that one of your eyes was just a cross. "You know buddy, I learned something before..." You held a barrel. You threw the said barrel in the air, Karl understanding your assignment and slashed it, making the barrel release oil. "Find a convenient place to fight..." You turned your hands into swords, slashing it against the floor to light up the fire. "Or make one." You turned your hands to normal a raised a thumbs up for Karl to see. He nodded and ran towards the vampire.

"Geez, what's taking him so long?" Del asked herself. She found a random manhole that led to the subway, and using the laws of logic, she put down a ladder. She aimlessly walked in the hallway, wondering if her vampire friend will be okay.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After a couple slashes and punches, Karl's pieces got chipped off. Karl threw Arma at Relliks chest, shoving it deeper with a kick. He threw Rellik for you to deal with as he lost footing and fell on the ground.
"Oh, c'mon... not here... not now..."
"Rellik!" Del yelled out, not realizing it was the worst moment to.
While Rellik was distracted, you took advantage and pinned him to a pillar using your sword.
"This is for Karl... for literally maybe boring him with that lecture of yours. Anyway, my turn!" You cleared your throat (not that you needed too). "Let me ask you, buddy: for how long do you think Del will be your friend?"
"How do youβ"
"It's my turn, shut up." That silence the vampire real quick.
"As I was saying, as long as it's convenient. That's how humans are! You're wasting your time and effort trying to help her, when this whole time, you could let her rot and be free! I call that one of all." You disconnected the sword to your hand and let your hand spin it's way back where it belonged.
"How about a bet..." You walked away from him. "What will destroy us all first?" You smugly asked, watching as Karl lifted a whole train, throwing it at Rellik. You crouched before sliding, landing on the rails where Karl was.
Del screamed and backed away, not wanting to get hit by the train.
You stared at the damage Karl has done.
"Now that I think about it, why do our fights always end in Karltastrophic outbursts?" You asked. You heard Karl chuckle at the bad pun you made.
"... It seemed like a good idea at the time." Karl answered, looking at Arma who was now perched on his head. You heard a small clanking noise, and you both looked at the source to see bat fly out of the rubble, soon transforming into Rellik.
"WHAT THE JCJENSON IN SPAAAACE?!" You yelled as Karl just fell on his back. Rellik slowly started walking towards you, you preparing to fight. But you suddenly started glitching, falling on your knees groaning.
"[NAME]?" Karl muttered. The subway started to shake, rocks falling on you. Karl raised an arm above his face, using the other to reach out for you.
"[NAME]!" Karl yelled out as the ceiling collapsed on the three of you.
