"Are ya having fun?" Edric said as you yelped,finally pulling the book out of the lockers grip. You blew a raspberry at it as Edric chuckled. "Ya know,I could always just help you with the locker. You don't have to fight with it all the time." He said as you groaned. "You were in a TERRIBLE mood today since you had gotten a bad grade in class today. Worst of all,everyone else but just a couple other students got A's. You really just wanted to punch the dude but you stepped away ignoring him. "Hey where you running off to you little speeder?" He said as you sighed looking up/down at him. "Wow,and I thought Emira was worse than this..." You mumbled as he put a hand to his chest and did a dramatic groan. "Wow! Comparing me to Emira!? That really hurts my heart Y/N!" He snickered as you rolled your eyes. "Your not funny....Edric.." You said as he frowned. "Sorry...just tryna...lighten the mood...." he said in a low voice. You sighed and half-smiled. "Im...sorry to...I guess..." You whispered as you and Edric made it to the front of the school. "Thanks...umm..hey! I wanted to give you something." He said as you raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Wow...Your memory's getting that bad,Edric Blight?" You laughed as he froze but quickly blushed.
"Here,I was going to give this to you earlier buuuutt...I...forgot." He passed you a F/C note as he smiled. "Amity..uhh...suggested it..." He said as he scratched the back of his head. "Mhm." You hummed as you opened it up and read it.

'Dear Y/N,
I hope this isn't too cheesy...I'm writing this because I wanted to ask you well...since Grom is coming up...
...Will you go to Grom with me?'

You gasped a bit making him turn his head with a half worried half excited look on his face. "Umm...will you?" He said as you finally let yourself smile as he returned it. "Yes Edric...You corny beef nugget!" You snickered as he practically jumped but stopped himself. "So uh..." he begun. "Aw damnit I'm being awkward..." He whispered as you tilted your head. "Edric you don't have to worry so much. I love you! B-Bye!" You stuttered just a little as you felt a hint of heat at your cheeks. You quickly ran off as he stood there. Stunned. "T-...H-.....W-.....H-Huh?....." He stumbled as he watched you disappearing into the distance.

"Why'd I do that why'd I do that why'd I do that why'd I do that?!" You whispered to yourself as you hit your head repeatedly with your fist. Edric still stood there as he finally broke out of his trance and began to smile. He felt a hand on his shoulder as he jumped but calmed down once he saw Amity. "Tsk ! tsk! tsk! My "Big Brother" is too in love that he can't even process an "I love you" from his crush." Amity said as she walked away. "Ugh....." He groaned as she pulled him along.

"I feel ya brother....I feel ya...."
