THE 4 GHOSTS STOOD AROUND THE PIANO GOING OVER THE SETLIST FOR TONIGHT

They had gone over all of their Sunset Curve songs and were trying to decide on what to play for tonight. Alex stood in between Olivia and Reggie as Luke stood on the opposite side of the piano.

"Julie, Ol, and I were thinking we could start with, "Stand Tall '''' Luke said, Olivia nodded.

"Perfect"

"Sounds good."

"Sounds good? Dude, wake up! I wanna hear it sounds awesome! I know this isn't how we wanted things to turn out but we gotta be all in tonight. This is our second chance at playing the Orpheum!" Luke exclaimed, Olivia couldn't help but fidget nervously at his words.

"I-I get it but it's hard. Do we even know what's on the other side when we cross over?" Reggie said, his usually upbeat smile was gone and in its place was a sorrowful frown.

"Do we still get to hang out? You-you guys are the only family I have." Reggie said, Olivia couldn't help but let tears burn her eyes.

Reggie voiced out her worst fears. If they did this what was gonna happen to them?

In a way they had been given a chance when they came back as ghosts, they could still play music, hell Olivia and Luke got their fairytale ending.

And now everything felt like it was getting ripped out of their hands.

Who knew where they'd be if they did this? Whether they will all be together? Olivia's heart physically hurt at the thought of losing any of them.

As if he could read her thoughts, Alex immediately wrapped an arm around his sister's shoulders and pulled her into his side, her side as she leaned against him.

Luke reached out to grab her hand from across the piano and Olivia let out a small smile as she gripped it.

Luke and Olivia never actually talked about what would happen after they crossed over, they were already terrified enough as it is of losing each other.

She couldn't lose this. She couldn't lose them.

"Yeah I mean, it's not like I know whats gonna happen either but it's not like we have a choice," Alex spoke up from beside Olivia. Olivia nodded just as the horrible electrifying pain shot through all of their chests, much worst than before.

Olivia felt her lungs being ripped out as she yelled out in pain, Alex just gripped her tighter.

The sound of the garage door opening made them turn around to face an excited Julie with a grin so big Olivia just wanted to hug her and never let her go.

"Are you ready?" Julie asked. The ghosts were still trying to catch their breath as they forced tight smiles.

"What's wrong?" Julie's smile wavered as she saw the ghosts.

"We were just rocked pretty hard by those jolt things" Alex responded as they walked over to her.

"Pretty sure I ghost-peed a little" Reggie mumbled.

"Olivia, can I talk to you for a second?" Julie asked, Olivia nodded and smiled.

The two girls walked to the doors of the garage and Olivia smiled at the young Latina.

"What's up Jules?" she asked.

"Can you do me a favor?" Julie asked. Olivia nodded.

"When you cross over... If-if you happen to see my mom, will you tell her I love her? Thank her for bringing you to me." Julie said sweetly, Olivia felt herself start to tear up but she cleared her throat and nodded.

"yes, yes of course I will." Julie and she exchanged smiles.

"Band circle?" Olivia asked and Julie nodded

"Guys band circle," Olivia called for the guys.

The 5 of them stood in a circle, Olivia placed her hands in Luke's and Alex's.

"We don't know what brought us here but what we do know is you're a star, Julie. And just because this is our last night together doesn't mean we won't be watching you from above or.." Luke trailed off and motioned to the ground causing a soft laugh to erupt from Olivia.

"Legends on three," Olivia said as they all placed their hands on top of one another in the center of the circle.

"One two three, LEGENDS!" they yelled as they threw their hands up in the air.

Julie made her way out of the garage and to her dad's car, the ghost all began to turn around when another voice was heard from the garage doors.

"Have a good show boyband" Carlos clapped as he walked into the room. The boys looked at the boy in surprise but Olivia scrunched her nose in protest.

"Who are you calling boy band?" Olivia asked as she leaned down to his height.

Carlos clearly had no idea where any of them were standing because he did the "I'm watching you" fingers at the space between Luke and Alex before he ran off.

Olivia shook her head with an amused smile, Luke walked over to wrap his arms around the girl from behind as Reggie looked at the spot Carlos stood in confusion.

"How did he find out about us?" he asked bewildered, Luke rested his chin on Olivia's shoulder from behind as Alex rolled his eyes at Reggie.

"Oh I don't know Reg, maybe it was the blinds. Oh! Or you know what: the blanket. It could have been any number of things that happened in that house." Alex argued but Luke spoke up softly, still with his arms wrapped tightly around the small blonde.

"It doesn't matter you guys, we're not coming back here anyways" The mood dropped drastically as Olivia leaned more into Luke.

They fit perfectly in each other's arms, Olivia could have stayed there forever but the sound of the man's voice who she never wanted to see again rang through the air.

"Where is it do you think you're going?" Caleb's voice rang out and all of them turned to see the ghost sitting casually on the piano.

Luke dropped his arms from Olivia's shoulders so his hands were interlocked in hers, all three boys stepped forward in front of the girl protectively as Olivia glared at the ghost.

"What are you doing here?" Luke said fiercely as they moved closer to Caleb.

"Such hostility! I'm just here to congratulate you on your big night, not everyone gets to play the Orpheum!" Caleb chuckled with a sick grin. Olivia's stomach churned as she watched Caleb smile, he wasn't here to chat.

"No, we know that it's your stamp that's hurting us!" Luke exclaimed but Caleb just hummed nonchalantly, as if he didn't hear anything.

"We already told you we have a band. We don't want to join your little club." Luke sneered.

"And you can't make us either!" Alex shouted from beside Luke, Caleb gave him a look that made Alex shrink back slightly.

"Sir," Alex added softly.

"Right! You're crossing over tonight, so exciting! Funny thing about the cross over: no one knows whats waiting on the other side." Caleb said with a gleam in his eye, the ghosts exchanged nervous looks before he continued

"But I know what's happening on this side," Caleb smirked, he blew them a kiss, and the smoke transported the ghost out of the garage before they could say anything.

The next moment, all 4 of them were standing in what seemed like a backstage lounge.

Olivia frowned in confusion as all four of them looked at each other in astonishment. Olivia wore a long navy blue dress with a side slit that reached from the bottom of the dress to her mid-thigh.

Her hair was done in a gorgeous loose bun at the bottom of her head and she held a keytar in her hands. She glanced down at the silver heels before looking back up at the boys.

They were all dressed nicely in tuxedos, Alex in a pink one, Reggie in red, and Luke in the same navy blue Olivia was wearing.

Luke could not stop staring.

Olivia was already beautiful in just sweats and a hoodie but looking at her all done up in that dress made his heart race and his palms sweat.

She was gorgeous, he couldn't seem to speak.

"Ol, you- you look incredible." Luke breathed, Olivia blushed and smiled.

"She does, doesn't she? I even made you two love birds match" Caleb's voice rang out from behind Olivia.

The girl jumped and the boys quickly pulled her towards them and away from Caleb who had descended the steps behind them. Luke stood in front of the girl as Reggie grabbed her hand protectively.

"Sweet threads," Reggie mumbled as Alex continued to stare at his tux in confusion.

"How did you know our sizes?"

"That's your question?" Olivia deadpanned.

"I know you guys aren't my biggest fans and an eternity at my club might seem overwhelming. But I just put you in sweet threads so humor me one last pitch." Caleb said.

"For starters, isn't it nice you're all here together? Luke and Olivia, if you guys crossed over who knows what would happen to the both of you." Luke's hand immediately found hers as he gripped on tightly, his jaw clenched as Olivia watched Caleb with cold eyes.

"On my stage, you soak in the applause for as long as you want. The connection you feel with that audience is like no other. I promise." Caleb said, looking deep into their eyes as cheers erupted from behind him.

"Oh hear that? They're waiting for you!" Caleb said, but right then all four ghosts got jolted yet again by the same familiar pains in their chest and they groaned.

"yikes, that one looked like it hurt. I suggest you accept my offer 'cause the clock is ticking." Caleb mocked them condescending as another jolt of pain burst through them.

The music grew louder as Caleb walked on stage, the four ghosts could only watch as he started to sing.

The four ghosts watched silently from the wings as Caleb sang, none of them knew what exactly they were in for.

Caleb turned to them and sang to them now and then, it was clear this song was directed at them.

"You got nothing to lose, boys. Lose, lose, lose. You got nothing to lose, boys. Lose, lose, lose"

The ghosts hated that the song was so good, Olivia had already started bobbing her head to the beat as all the guys were softly moving to the melody.

Slowly, Alex raised his hand and twirled his drumstick with a panicked expression on his face.

Olivia glanced at her brother with wide eyes and back at Caleb, his eyes were gleaming and he had a wicked smile on his face.

He was going to make Alex poof on stage.

"Wait no Alex -" Olivia was too late as a second later her brother had reappeared on stage by the drums, Caleb still singing along.

Luke's hand gripped hers tighter but Olivia's eyes widened as Reggie's hand slipped out of hers. He gave her a panicked expression as he disappeared from beside her and appeared beside Caleb.

The two boys on stage exchanged terrified glances as they killed in on their instruments and Olivia felt in her bones it was her next.

Her hands were forced to the keys on her keytar and Luke shook his head as Olivia gave him a helpless look.

"No Ol, please no Ol!" Luke cried but Olivia had disappeared.

The blonde girl reappeared in the center of the stage in between Caleb and Reggie, the crowd went crazy as she gaped at the way her hands shredded the keytar skillfully.

"Olivia, let me hear ya" Caleb sang and all the instruments went quiet as Olivia shredded the keys for a few seconds in silence before the crowd roared and the music started back up again.

"Now Luke, yeah!" Luke struggled as Caleb moved him across the stage.

All four ghosts were playing extremely well, and if this was for anything else they would love it.

But this wasn't the music they wanted to play.

This isn't the place they were supposed to play it at.

"It's electrifying, from your hat to your shoes! Feel it in the air, you have nothing to lose. Nothing to lose, yeah!" Caleb finished and the crowd jumped to their feet.

The four ghosts on stage on the other hand were not feeling it.

Olivia exchanged glances with all of them worriedly.

They had to get out of here. They had to find Julie and they had to play the Orpheum.

Luke and Olivia locked eyes with each other and the couple tried to reach for each other but whatever Caleb did to them just forced their hands back to their instruments.

The coupled glanced at each other helplessly.

They had everything to lose
